Ah, February 14th. A day for loving lovers to love... But at Smash Academy, it meant something else...

At the crack of dawn, they appeared. Tiny robotic cherubs wielding bows and arrows. Those who had been at the academy for some time knew what they were: The Cupidbots. Obnoxious, potentially life-ruining robots with one mission: Fire their arrows at unsuspecting passers-by, causing them to fall in love with the first person they saw for the next 24 hours. They would be gone by the next day, but still for the best to try and avoid them.

He clasped his hands together, leaning forward just a bit.

"Oh, please? It would be my pleasure. The salary here might not be much, but it's more than a student makes. Ple~ase?"

Oh now she was turning red. Blue tucked a bit of her hair behind her ear, her hand lingering near her cheek like the nervous school girl the little nano-pheromone-machines in her system was dictating her to be.

"W-well. How am I supposed to say no to that face? I guess you've won me over."

"Perfect. Venue is your choice, of course."

Blue gave it a bit of thought. "Actually, I think I'd prefer it if you picked. I'd like to see what kind of things you're interested in!"

She could have picked a thing, of course, but that would have been a waste of a good opportunity to get to know him better! That was pretty high up in her list of priorities at the moment, and the prospect made her a bit giddy.

"Hmmm..." He brought a finger up to his chin in thought, as if he needed to think at all.

"Well, I'm always a fan of a good seafood meal. How do your thoughts range on that subject?"

Huh, maybe suggesting a seafood buffet might have been a good idea after all. It was a passing thought that felt like it could have been a bit sour, but it was so fleeting compared to the prospect of getting to go somewhere with Kyogre that she hardly noticed.

She grinned. "They range in the positive spectrums! Some good blessings from the sea are always appreciated."

He laughed out loud at that.

"I've never heard anything so true in my entire life! Perfect."

He offered his arm.

"Shaaa~ll we?"

She glanced at his arm with stars in her eys and then-- WAIT hold up. "Oh! Just a second."

Blue made a quick movement to the counter, grabbing up the container of pokeblocks to shove into her bag. Starry eyed romance or no, she wasn't about to forget the treats she had made for her team out where anyone could gobble them up.

THEN she took his graciously offered arm, her grin a bit more sheepish as she chuckled. "Sorry. But yes, please, lead the way kind sir."
