Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[Hey. Marie totally kicked too. Sort of.

Luckily for Chika, Marie wasn't the type to inspect anyone particularly closely. Actually, after he stepped over the door and into Chika's dorm, he sort of settled on looking at her computer instead of her.]

...So, why are you hiding from everyone?

[Vinnie inspected the damage on the door frame as he went in. Damn. Secretly, that did feel kinda good, though. He followed suit after Marie.]

Sorry 'bout the door.

[He was more focused on how Chika was doing health-wise, though. Hmmm. What were those...?]

[pikabitch]

[She was more focused on glaring at Marie to notice the Venusaur eying the hickeys.]

The hell you're talking about? I've just been playing video games. [She takes a jab at the screen, showing a Mineshaft server completely destroyed.]

[punchwaves]

[Yes, Chika, Marie sees the sad mess you have made of your Mineshaft game.]

You just now wouldn't let us in. You're avoiding everyone...

[Yeah, okay, with Chika glaring in Marie's direction, Vinnie could spy one of the marks more clearly. They looked like bites... but that didn't make sense. Despite being one of the younger members of his team, she was still undoubtedly the strongest. No one should've been able to leave a mark on her unless... she let them...

Twitch.]

...Not everyone.

[Vinnie gave her a no nonsense stare as he crossed his arms.] Who is it, Chika?

[pikabitch]

[She flinched and quickly turn to Vinnie. But then quickly tries to remain calm. It's not working]

I-I... don't know what're you talking about.

[punchtheflowers]

[No, it really isn't. His glare softened a little, but his demeanor was still stern.]

Those bite marks.

[punchwaves]

[What? Bite marks? Marie shifted his glance to Chika and gave her a once-over. Sure enough, there were a few red marks on her neck.]

...What the heck is that from?

[pikabitch]

They're none of your business!

[Yeah, this seems to be a good time to quickly grab a jacket nearby and shield those stupid hickeys from her brothers' stares.]

[Well, it was already too late, really, now that Vinnie had seen them. He couldn't really believe they were from a fight - if it had been in the Stadium, they would've healed. Same thing if she had gone to a PokeCentre, like any sane Pokemon would do. She either didn't notice or didn't care.

Vinnie raised his voice just slightly.]

We're your family. When you get hurt and hole up for weeks, that makes it our business.

[That was the breaking point, now Chika can't find the power to tell the difference between what she was thinking and she should say to Vinnie.]

WHO I LOVE IS NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS!

[Good job Chika Pikachu, good fucking job. The second she realized what she had just yelled, she was quick to cover her mouth.

Eyes looking in fear on what might Vinnie or Marie might say next to her sudden new-found weak feelings.]

[Whoa, what?]

[Yeah, that's pretty much all he could manage. Marie's eyes darted between Chika and Vinnie, anxious for a response from his older brother.

He had absolutely no idea what to say. Or what to think for that matter. Chika loved someone. Someone with sharp teeth who apparently enjoyed sucking on her neck, or something like that. Was Chika dating Edward Cullen???? He was almost more curious about how Chika'd managed to fall for someone than who she had fallen for, really... But he stayed silent and waited for Vinnie to freak out say something.]

[Vinnie didn't say anything for a long while - it felt like if he opened his mouth, all that would come out would be shouting and freaking out, and that was something no one needed right now. He had to calm down. Calm.

This wasn't nearly as bad as the 'find out Sasha lost her virginity' thing. Unless Chika actually lost her virginity tNO HE WAS NOT THINKING ABOUT THIS RIGHT NOW.

Eventually, and with very... restrained tones, he said:]

Chika... why did you feel you had to keep this from us?

[She refused to see either of them in the eye, the floor seems like a more interesting sight.

A bitter laugh. She rubbed her eyes, stupid dust.] W-why else? Considering you guys would have gone ballistic either way.

[punchwaves]

[After Chika explained herself, Marie shot Vinnie another look. He didn't look as frantic as Marie expected him to be, really.]

I'm not going ballistic. I guess I'm just kind of... [He paused, lowering his eyebrows thoughtfully.] I'm surprised, I guess?

[To his credit, Vinnie was trying very, very hard not to spaz out. He looked like he might've been on the verge of bursting, but he was managing to bite it back. For now.

If anything, he felt... hurt that his siblings had pretty much expected that kind of reaction from him. Frustrated that he was very close to proving them right.

Calm down. Don't fuck this up too, Vinnie.]

I'm not mad you have a crush, Chika. It happens.

I'm disappointed that you thought this was the right way t'deal with it.

[pikabitch]

Heh... you would probably try to kill her- them if I'd tell you.

[punchwaves]

[Wait. Her? Chika might have tried to recover from that one, but there was unmistakably a "her" in that sentence.]

[Yeah, just echoing Marie here. Vinnie heard it too, no use trying to cover up that slip.]

Her?...

[pikabitch]

[Her lips curve into a pained smile.]

Yeah, I fell for another girl, what the fuck of it?

[punchwaves]

[Well. That was... unexpected. Marie tried desperately to recall other girls Chika hung out with. ...Sasha?

Her clearly uncomfortable smile made him too nervous to look at her anymore, and his eyes shifted to some other part of the room. Idly, he wondered if this was why Chika had tried to hide it from them. At her question, Marie shrugged timidly.]

That's... uh, that's, like, fine. [A pause.] ...Who is it?

[punchtheflowers]

[Ha ha, good thing there was a bold nature in the room to ask that thing you wanted to ask but you too timid to ask. Yeah.

Vinnie didn't look away, either. This new development wasn't going to faze him.]

Is that why y'wanted to hide this from us?

[pikabitch]

No shit, Sherlocks.

[Oh god, she wanted to just curl up and die. It was one thing to be so weak to love, but also to something as falling in the same gender. It was like one weakness after the either, she wasn't stupid, she knew she could be easily looked down upon due to both.

And then there was those stupid sniffles again. Great, tears, just to make things better for her humiliation.]

[punchwaves]

[Marie was really not used to being present for Chika tears. His eyes darted back to her then away again as soon as he heard her sniffle. Yes, definitely crying. Marie mumbled;]
