[[ OOC notice. This post will act as a hub for hotel antics outside the bath areas. Each room (or place should you go exploring with your buddies) will be it's own thread IN THIS POST. Those of you STARTING threads make sure you fill the subject line appropriately (like "so & so's room " or "the grand buffet") for easy indexing. If comment threads get squished too far into the right after a while, feel free to start a new part 2 thread.

TEGAKI THREADS ARE ALSO ALLOWED. Anyone who begins a Tegaki log, post a link to that tegaki thread in a new thread WITHIN THIS POST as you would a new LJ room log.

Lastly, there's internet access so you can post personal thoughts and things in your regular journals but you don't need to link them here.

Luigi paled as he knelt on the floor, grabbing a bad of paper and a pencil, 'Of course he'd like to draw monsters,' he thought. "I've-a never really tried 'cept doodles on notes . . ." he responded to whether or not he drew. "Don't-a laugh if it's-a not that good!" he said somewhat good natured, but really hoping he didn't tease him, because he could only imagine what that would be like from Bowser's son. Figuring it'd be best to start with something Bowser Jr could appreciate, Luigi began to clumsily draw a pipe with a piranha plant in it.

"Your-a paintbrush is pretty neat!" he said with some amazement at the way it changed. "Does it-a paint any color you want?"

"Hu hu! You draw better then Papa! I guess claws make it harder but he's good at other things anyway." He took his paintbrush and plopped it on the paper as the paint started to make forms on it's own. "Yeah! It's a magic paintbrush I got from my Papa, Kamek told me how to use it right!" He didn't even care as to what he said, he was enjoying this all to well, who knew someone would actually want to spend time with him? He felt kind of happy.

"See! I can make koopas and goombas easily! And they have funny colors too!" He pointed to them as the paint started to dry. "It's a good thing they don't come to life like last time, I forgot how to stop them if they do!"

Luigi blushed slightly in bashfulness at the comment about his drawing, "Thanks!" He watched as the paintbrush did its thing in amazement. He wondered if it was cheating using that magical paintbrush, or it did take some actual skill to handle it. Either way, Luigi was impressed. "Those are-a very nice! I'm-a . . . really glad they aren't coming alive then, too . . ." Last thing Luigi needed was to start jumping on Goombas' heads ~~and thus possibly giving away who he was related to~~.

He resumed his drawing, coloring in the plant with red, then moving on to do his own, clumsy Goomba, coloring it in purple just to go with Jr's crazy color thing. He was having a surprisingly peaceful time, it was easy to forget whose son he was currently entertaining.

Junior enjoyed drawing with Luigi for some time he didn't even notice that the springs were open already. "Oh yeah, after food gets here we should go swimming!" He smiled at him before walking over to his side of the room. "I got these human ball thingies from this plant girl, I wonder if I should be a human when swimming?" He looked at them curiously tapping it a bit to see if it made a noise, she said just to hit it for to work! So he was tempted to try it.

"Oh, yeah, the springs," Luigi mused to himself as he kept coloring in random bad guys he had drawn on the tablet. "I-a hear a lot of people like being human, but some people I-a think don't need it . . ." he added lowly, thinking of Peasley. He smiled at Bowser Jr, "You never know if you like it till you-a try, I s'pose, so go for it."

He looked at Luigi still coloring the bad guys, he was having more fun drawing but he had to see what these people acted like, he was the prince after all, he needed to know the people he'd be ruling after his father finally takes over the throne.

He just didn't want to be left out so he wanted to be human like everyone else. "Hmmm... well okay!" He decided to smash the ball with his giant paintbrush to see what it would do. His hair got longer, he got red eyes and a fang, basically he grew a human body to his own... but the only thing remained was his wrist bands and hanker chief.

"Uhhhm. I wonder if I was suppose to bring those clothes things people wear?"

Luigi stared in horror at the naked kid standing in front of him.

Then remembered to have the decency to spin around on his bottom so his back was to him, holding up both hands to his eyes to act as blinders. "Y-y-yes! You shoulda brought some clothes!" he exclaimed, a bit more hysterical than he meant to sound. "You-you-a don't have anything? N-No bathing suit??" He was now wondering if he had enough money for the room service AND to buy the kid some trunks.

Junior wondered why Luigi was suddenly freaking out, but laughed anyway and looked over to where Luigi was turned around. "Huhu, this form is awesome! I look so cool! Ah, swim trunks? I don't think so, I remember someone told me to pack clothes but I didn't know I'd get this tall!" Soon after the doorbell rang and he looked over to where the sound came from.

"Hey that must be the pizza, I'll get it!"

"Oh no!" he exclaimed, the last thing Luigi needed was for a younger boy answering the door completely naked. He scrambled to his feet and made a mad dash for the Koopa kid, grabbing his neckerchief and pulling him to a stop before his hand reached the door knob.

"N-no . . ." he smiled nervously down at him, "I-a have the money, let-a me answer it, okee dokee?" He began to pull the kid aside to be hidden by the door when he opened it. "You-a just wait right here . . ." He went to answer the door.

Junior was pushed to the side, more so confused to why it was such a big deal. "Huu, big nose, you're acting funny!" But he complied anyway, maybe Luigi didn't want people to know he was hanging out with Bowser's son. He was used to it anyway, he was lucky enough to find someone who wanted to play.

He looked in his bag for something to put on, anything. But while Luigi was answering the door he decided to see if Luigi's bag had anything he could wear for now. He found a green shirt and some blue overalls extra packed. He took them out and started putting them on, at least it was better then nothing, right?

He paid the man and quickly shut the door, thankful he didn't see anything. He turned around, arms full of food boxes, which he nearly dropped upon seeing Bowser Jr clad in his all too big clothing.

It would almost be adorable if Luigi wasn't so disturbed at the moment. Well okay so a little part of him in his head went, "Awwww!" but nonetheless he said dumbly, "You . . . you a-wearing my clothes? Wouldn't you-a rather to get some of your own?"

Junior looked at Luigi smiling. "But your clothes look so cool!" He came from behind the bed to take one of the boxes of food to start munching on. "I guess I need swimming stuff too huhu, you'll buy some for me right?" He grinned as he opened the box of pizza and started eating.

Luigi looked at Junior, touched that he thought his clothes looked cool. HIS clothes? It was enough to almost want to buy Junior anything he ever asked for.

But he didn't have the money to do that so he settled for buying him swim trunks. "Sure!" he laughed, giddy with the clothing compliment. "I'll-a buy you some trunks!" He went to the door and reached for the knob, but stop to say, "Don't-a get any pizza on the duds, Junior." Then he opened the door and then realised he should prolly ask, "You wanna come or stay here and eat?"

Junior had already eaten three slices of pizza and let off a burp before answering. "Huu? I want to come with Big Nose!" He got off the bed and left the food sprawled out. "We can eat that later anyways, I wanna go swimming!" He got excited while fixing his clothes and walking towards the door. He looked at Luigi's head for a minute to see the only thing he was missing. "Hey, I want a hat just like yours too!"

Luigi paused and looked slowly down at Junior, who was staring up at him (or his hat) with shining, wanting eyes. "M-My hat?" He reached up and touched it fondly. It was very rare he parted with his hat (when not sleeping or what have you), and it was even rarer he let someone else wear it (last person was Peasley).

But. How could he let the kid down? It was best to remain on his good side, too.

He hesitated for awhile, and Junior looked like he was getting irritated, so Luigi pulled it slowly off his head, running a hand through his hair to take out the hat hair, mumbling, "Okee, you-a can wear it." He plopped it down on his head, the hat slipping low over his eyes being a bit too big. "But be-a careful with it! And it's-a only for tonight!" he added somewhat sternly.

Junior was about to tap his foot impatiently until Luigi actually complied with his request and he got to wear the hat. Junior was happy to have something like this, it must be something special if he got to wear it! He'd keep his promise to keep it just for tonight... maybe.

"Hu hu! Don't worry, I'll take good care of it!" This was also a great chance to try out his human form for a while, he'd be sure to enjoy this.

Junior looked excited to be wearing it, and Luigi smile widened just a bit at the sight. He wondered if this was how Bowser used to be before he grew up into some power hungry jerk.

"C'mon, let's-a go!" he wove Junior out, watching in amusement as he tried to walk in the too big clothes. "I-a think there was a shop around the lobby, they should-a have something there good for-a you. Maybe you can get a gift for your papa!" He realised too late he shouldn't have said that, seeing as he was probably going to be the one paying for it.

Junior stumbled a bit as he was trying hard to walk in such big clothes, it's a good thing his father wasn't around to see him stumbling about. He had realized though that there was a latter on his hat. L? Wonder what it stood for.

"Okay! Ohhh, Papa would love a gift! I wonder what I should get him?" He only knew his father liked fire and lava, oh yeah and beating things up. What can you buy for a person who doesn't like alot of things? Besides that he decided to pop this question. "So, your brother is Mark... what's your name big nose?" He wasn't really all that curious in the first place but decided it would be best to call him by a name now. He was lucky to find someone who would give him nice things just like his Dad.

Luigi began to wonder if the gift shop would have anything good for Mario and Peasley, who he was sure were going to be sad they missed out on this trip when they came back from their respective trips.

He was so distracted by these thoughts that he answered automatically, "My name? It's-a Luigi!"

... He really felt like that name was familiar, but he didn't want to worry about it, he could just ask his Father when he got home.

"Oh okay, Luigi!" He grinned as they had arrived at a gift shop that was located in the hotel, he spotted lots of figures and little toy things that were placed in a line. "Hmmm, wonder what Papa would like." He also remembered he needed those swim trunks, was Luigi really going to pay for it all? Junior almost wished he had brought money with him. Junior spotted something that his father might like, it was a Goomba patterned tie, a clip on at that. He knew his father hated fiddling with those things. "I want to get him that!"

Luigi looked around, spotting cheesy little things, but some things stood out that Mario and Peasley might enjoy, there were some geodes that sparkled in a way he figured Peasley might like, and some nuts that were said to have been grown in the area and delicious due to the watersfor Mario . . .

When Junior spoke up, Luigi turned and saw him holding the Goomba print tie. Luigi suppressed a chuckle, but still smiled amused, "I-I-a think he'll love it." He took it from him and looked at the price, balking a little. He looked at the prices of the gifts he had been considering, sighing. First he'd find the kid some clothes and see if he had enough for his gifts. "Let's-a go look at some swim trunks and see if there are any t-shirts and shorts, too."

Junior frowned that they weren't buying it right away. "Huuuu." But he knew that clothes were defiantly important for humans, it would be embarrassing if he got negative attention. "Why can't we just take them out of the store without money?" He asked stoically acting like it wasn't such a big deal, he stole stuff from Kamek's office all the time, he didn't seem to care! His father said it was fine too.

"Wh-what?!" Luigi exclaimed about the stealing. "You--you just can't! That's-a illegal and just not nice to take other people's stuff." He crossed his arms and huffed importantly, like a father figure, "How would you-a like it if-a someone took your paintbrush?" He shook his finger at him, "You-a wouldn't like it very much, would you?" He shrugged, "Don't-a worry, I have enough . . ."

Junior lowered his head in shame and mumbled a small sorry. Hold on a second, he only did that for his father, what made Luigi so special all of a sudden? "B-but Papa said it was okay! That I can have whatever I wanted!" then he thought about his Brush being stolen, but that'd never happen, he'd be able to beat them up before they got far enough!

Sighing he decided to try not and get angry, he WAS being nice to him after all, but it was tempting. "Well as long as you have enough!"

He was proud that he seemed to have gotten through to Bowser Junior. Maybe Luigi was being a good influence for the kid! Happily, he went to the T-shirts, which were all cheesy ones with the springs' logo on it, but it would have to do for now. There didn't seem to be any pants or shorts though, but there were the swim trunks, perhaps he'd be okay wearing those for the rest of the trip.

"There're no pants, I-a think," Luigi told him, but held out a shirt small enough for him, "But you-a can wear this with your swim trunks for the rest of the trip, okee?" He looked at the tag, "I-a have enough for these," he went to the shelf with the nuts and the geode, "and-a these!" He smiled broadly at Junior. "It's a win-win! Let's-a pay for them."
