[[ OOC notice. This post will act as a hub for hotel antics outside the bath areas. Each room (or place should you go exploring with your buddies) will be it's own thread IN THIS POST. Those of you STARTING threads make sure you fill the subject line appropriately (like "so & so's room " or "the grand buffet") for easy indexing. If comment threads get squished too far into the right after a while, feel free to start a new part 2 thread.

TEGAKI THREADS ARE ALSO ALLOWED. Anyone who begins a Tegaki log, post a link to that tegaki thread in a new thread WITHIN THIS POST as you would a new LJ room log.

Lastly, there's internet access so you can post personal thoughts and things in your regular journals but you don't need to link them here.

That is all!

I'm going to start the lobby thread in the comments]]

Oh, and

Mucho thankos to [livejournal.com profile] sora_dake_ka for composing this map!

Ninten was reaching out, but suddenly stopped. Poo's mind had contacted his own. He was tempted to ignore it, but since no one was going to be going anywhere for a while, the psychic boy decided to respond.
This is the only way I can be sure. he said (thought?) as seriously as he could through a mental link. None of them will own up to it, and they'll only lie if I ask. He grit his teeth, scowling as he spoke/thought. They hurt a friend. I'm not just going to let them get away with it!

"Oh! Hey, Ninten! Yeah, make yourself at home, the more the merrier." Ness grinned over at Ninten while unloading his backpack, quite pleased to see another familiar face rooming with him even if this one's arrival was unannounced. "I was wondering whether you might show up!" And hoping for it, too, it seemed like the older boy could use some stress relief himself.

It only took a few moments for Ness to finish folding his clothes (considering he brought about two other changes of clothes plus his trunks) and when he finished, flopped back onto the bed and stretched his cramped limbs. He hadn't realized at the time how tense he'd been on the bus ride over; it was certainly catching up with him now. Silence reigned throughout the room as Ness laid there with his eyes closed, and he couldn't help but wonder if Ninten was maybe doing the same thing as Poo. Did he medidate? Was Ness the only one who didn't meditate? He peeped open an eye and glanced across the bed to Ninten, sitting quietly in a very meditative-esque position.

At any rate he could definitely feel the psychic energy emanating from the two and for a moment felt a slight pang of guilt at wasting his time recouperating from the harrowing adventure instead of strengthening his mind. Putting up with the aches and pains and focusing on his inner self or lack of self or whatever it was Poo did. Stifling a sigh Ness pushed himself up into a slouching sit and bounced a food idly over the edge of the bed, debating whether or not that sort of stuff was for him.

Poo very slowly, and as politely as he could, severed the mental link he had going with Ninten. Poo wasn't one to miss noticing his close friend's contemplation. "...Are you troubled, Ness?" he asked quietly.

"Huh?" He whipped his head to meet Poo's gaze, switching from a startled expression to one of slight embarassment and apology for unintentionally interrupting Poo's meditation. Waving a hand to brush off the question, Ness grinned sheepishly and replied, "Ah, no, it's nothing." Then a pause as the two stared at each other with the mutual understanding that it really wasn't 'nothing' and that it was an exercise in futility to try to convince Poo it was the truth.

So he gave in with a shrug of his shoulders. "...I just kinda feel bad that I'm the only one who seems to be relaxing so soon after getting here. I mean, you guys look like you're concentrating so hard and all I'm thinking about is those hot springs..."

After a couple seconds of consideration Poo smiled and found the proper words to reply with, "You know... I think this is what we need. Perfect balance of the body, mind and spirit." Even Poo, for as hard as he worked himself, , understood that ying could not exist without yang--that work and play would always go hand in hand. Perhaps Ninten could use this as well...

Especially since they were still what... teenager boys attending high school?

"Let us enjoy tomorrow. All of us."

With an inward sigh of contentment with that response, Ness nodded in accord, a broad smile of his own tugging at the corners of his mouth. After all, that was what they had come there for, wasn't it? "Couldn't agree more with you there, Poo." Hey, once they returned from such a relaxing break he could always train extra-hard to make up for it, if he really did feel that guilty. His match with Nyx had given him all the incentive he needed to improve his techniques - and agility.

"Tomorrow's gonna be awesome," Ness was beaming now, "I doubt there's a person here who won't."

Poo settled back into a meditative state with his eyes closed, and muttered quietly, mostly to himself,

If the conversation ended now, Poo would be just as content to fall asleep in the exact seated position he was in.

Poo remained completely expressionless on the outside, betraying his rising inner emotions at the situation, particularly as they connected and mixed with Ninten's aggressive thought patterns. The prince too, was very upset that a close friend of his had been made upset, hurt in a way, but he knew better than to be outright aggressive about it.

... Anger is momentary madness, Ninten. Control your passion or it will control you--You must place yourself above it. Poo exhaled deeply from his spot on the floor. I vowed assistance to you, and I will honor that, but please consider your methods carefully, friend. Poo wasn't about to tell Ninten what or what not to do; only that he should tread cautiously.

Ninten's eyes snapped open, cutting his telepathy entirely. The teen got off the bed, ignoring the conversation Poo and Ness were having. He stormed off, not making eye contact with either of them, and headed for the bathroom.

"...you just don't understand," he coldly responded.

Ninten shut the door to the bathroom, and promptly locked it. After making sure the tub was dry, Ninten found a seat within the large bowl. He closed the curtains, more to simply seclude himself rather than attempt to get away from the others. What would it matter anyway, they both had telepathy.
He just needed some seclusion, just so he could focus.

Ninten closed his eyes again, put his fingers to his head, and began reaching out with his telepathy one more time. He was determined to make sure he'd find out who had caused all the trouble.

Poo opened his eyes as he heard the bathroom door shut, and sighed to himself. "..."

The Prince cleared his mind and tried not to dwell on Ninten's current condition, and only hoped his friend would get over it and eventually find his way back to his bed, so he could sleep soundly.

For the sake of continuity, and because I'm lazy, Ninten slept in the bathtub.

Yes, he is THAT creepy, crazy, and other stuff.
