Did someone order a DORM LOG??

Who: You, you, you, and you
What: Dorm hijinks and etc. Whatever you want.
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Whatever happens happens, bro!
When: September 9 - September 25
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's goin down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Break out the board games for a late night full of laughter, losing, cheating and bonding! Swipe the janitor's keys and gain access to all the impassable places your wildest dreams could only reach! Tiptoe quietly to the kitchen downstairs and make a midnight snack with all your friends! Drive all your neighbors to madness with your ceaseless My Little Ponyta marathons! Get in fisticuffs with your best worst lifelong rival on the rooftops at 4! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

They are, aren't they?

This one stars Pinkie Please as she tries to throw her pet Sandile a party. It is one of the best ones.

[Even though Pinkie Please goes through an, uh... interesting fit.]

Do you watch this sort of thing often, N?

[Not that she minds. If you'll have her, she'll join you each time.]

Of course! My Pokemon enjoy watching it at times, too. It is Vanilluxe's favorite show.

[He smiles fondly.] There is an episode about the ponies protecting themselves from the winter cold. That one is his favorite.

[And N has so many Pokémon that Agitha has lost track. No. Kidding. She knows of three so far, but she's only met one. She wonders how many he actually has.]

I haven't met that one yet, this Vanilluxe. Or the others that you have. Does he get cold often?

[For why would something so specific become a favourite...?]

Oh! Vanilluxe is a Pokemon that mainly resembles a double-scoop ice cream. He does get cold often- in fact, all the time- but that is how he likes it.

[How weird.]

Oh! You told me about him, but I didn't know his name.

[Then she laughs.]

So he's ice cream and gets cold all the time. Can he melt if he gets too warm?

Not quite. He is too strong to melt. Even in the summer weather, he can hold out, but he may grow weaker from prolonged exposure. He won't melt, though.

[It'd be pretty damn depressing if he did.]

[She blinks.]

I had no idea Pokémon could be so durable. You seem to have so many wonderful things about you, N. You and your Pokémon. I guess they're only as strong as their trainer.

Ahah, I'm not sure how strong I am, but my Pokemon certainly are. I'm very proud of them.

... ah. Hello.

[Who was he greeting? Hadn't he already said hello to Agitha?

Yes, he had, but he hadn't greeted the bat that had just landed behind the couch.]

Swoobat. This is one of my Pokemon.

[There's a distinct pause and then she turned her attention onto Swoobat. That's the one who gives kisses with its nose. She remembers.]

Ohhh...

[She points at its nose.]

This one's adorable.

Isn't she ever? Swoobat...

[He was about to finish that with, "Say hi," but the bat beat him to it and pressed her nose against Agitha's cheek.]

... is very sweet, as you can see.

[Agitha blinks. She's being kissed by a furry bat. A one-eyed, or so she seems to think, furry bat. It's rather... endearing. She can't resist smiling and she shifts just enough to reciprocate.

She estimates Swoobat's cheek and nuzzles the tip of her nose into her.]

Thank you. It's very nice to meet you, Swoobat.

[Swoobat didn't let that last long, for she turned her head (body?) so that her nose would meet Agitha's. Nose kisses, they are the best kisses.]

That is her favorite way of showing her affection, so it must mean she feels you have a good heart.

[OH THERE'S HER MASTER, he deserves nose kisses, too. Swoobat stamped her nose onto N's cheek. kissu~.]

[Agitha can easily live with a bat giving her nose kisses forever. She's a little flushed, however, from the attention. Jacque the butterfly can't give kisses, but she's always likened his landing on her nose to be the equivalent of one.

She watches Swoobat and N and can't leash the giggle that escapes her lips. Her ears perk up and she tips her head ever so slightly to the right.]

Ohhhh. You two are very cute together!

[Except it was probably mostly Swoobat was cute. Agitha would have defined N a little more on the 'handsome' side of things.]

Ahaha, well, she certainly is. I've known her for... hm. [He looks over to the bat that is now perched on his shoulder.]

How long has it been? 15 years? More...? [Swoobat gives the bat equivalent of a shrug. IDK LOL]

Hm. I think that is a decent estimate. Have you ever had a bug for that long?

[She shakes her head at N and grows serious for a bit.]

Uhm, a few years ago, there was this boy. He would go all over Hyrule and catch my bugs for me. And I would give him rupees for it.

[She takes out from her basket a red rupee to indicate. N should remember what those are. Then she replaces it.]

So I guess it's been almost three years since then. So I've had them all for about three years?

[She nods. That sounds right.]

Three years is quite a while. You must have formed such wonderful bonds, haven't you?

[He remembers those rupees. That red one looked pretty, so pretty that he didn't understand how it was a common currency where Agitha came from. It looked more like a rare treasure.]

Hyrule... That is where you're from, isn't it? [He tilted his head a little.] What is it like?

I think of them fondly. And I like to think they feel the same way about me.

[She sits back a bit, perfectly happy holding her basket on her lap.]

Hyrule is large. I haven't even seen it all, but I have a map of it. There are provinces, forests, water areas, a lake, rivers, and a vast desert. I've only been a little out of the city, however. I think it's rather... I think it's pretty! I really like it.

I see. I can imagine that you don't have many of the creatures that we have in our world apart from bugs there...

[N thought back to the animals they had in Unova. There weren't many. Most of Unova happened to be dominated by Pokemon as the primary type of creature. There were sometimes cows and chickens and bugs and pigs, but nothing too much like FDC had.]

What other kinds of creatures do you have apart from bugs?

[She shakes her head at him.]

No, I don't think so. No Pokémon in Hyrule at all. I've never seen one until I came here, after all. No matter how sheltered I would have been, I imagine the Boy in Green would have told me.

[Agitha adjusts in her seat and she rubs lightly at her cheek.]

Hmmm... Uhm. Bats. Well, keese. They look like bats. Sort of like Swoobat, but they're not nearly as adorable. They usually come out at night or are in dark places. We also have these strange plants that... Well. They're called Deku Babas. They nomnomnom at you if you get too close!

And I'm sure there are more, but those are the only two I've actually seen. I don't usually go outside at night.

They... nomnomnom at you? I suppose you mean eat. [He smiled brightly.] That is a... precious new term for it. Did you make that up? I like it.

[He means that legitimately, too. Others may say that in a mocking way, but N has the heart of a child here.]

[She reddens and shakes her head. Then she gestures with her right hand, an animal snapping at something. Not eating. Just snapping.]

Bite, I think. But it is something like a nomnom motion. And yes, I suppose I did make it up. Oops.

[Oh god N couldn't help but laugh a little. It wasn't at her, but rather, towards the term itself. It was very cute!]

Aha, I see. It does make sense. You are very creative, you know.

[She simply blinks at him a few times and then she smiles happily.]

Sometimes I'm creative! Other times I'm just very, very silly!

[But she supposes she'd rather N thought of her as silly rather than anything bad.]

Haha, hardly. You are very creative and very talented. Those are qualities you should be proud of.

[Though Agitha may prefer to hear something like this from N, right?]
