Did someone order a DORM LOG??

Who: You, you, you, and you
What: Dorm hijinks and etc. Whatever you want.
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Whatever happens happens, bro!
When: September 9 - September 25
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's goin down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Break out the board games for a late night full of laughter, losing, cheating and bonding! Swipe the janitor's keys and gain access to all the impassable places your wildest dreams could only reach! Tiptoe quietly to the kitchen downstairs and make a midnight snack with all your friends! Drive all your neighbors to madness with your ceaseless My Little Ponyta marathons! Get in fisticuffs with your best worst lifelong rival on the rooftops at 4! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[She reaches for his hat and if she manages to take it, she's going to put it on and look up at him.]

Yes. We'll go together. And I'll help you.

[She is successful, and... oh gosh. How adorable. N couldn't help but laugh a little- a kind, amused sort of laugh, not a mocking one.]

[She looks very happy, even with his hat on as her pigtails poke out from beneath it.]

Your hair looks so messed up without it.

[But he's still cute.]

... Hm. I suppose I could blame hat hair for that.

[He slicks his hair back subconsciously and sheepishly.]

I'm too comfortable in it to part with it, though. [HE THINKS HATS ARE CUTE OK.]

Where did you get it from?

[She takes it off, dusts it carefully, and looks at it from the front.]

[How terribly fitting to what they were just recently talking about.]

... My father gave it to me after finding me in the wilderness.

[Welp.]

[Oh. She frowns.]

Ah.

[N's father is poopie, she's decided.]

Well, you're very cute in it. And without it.

[She reaches up, has to really stretch for it, and tries to ruffle his hair.]

[... ahahaha. Well, that makes him feel good. He manages a smile and returns the action.]

As do you. In fact, I wonder how you'd look without your pigtails...

[Agitha pauses and blinks as she thinks about it.]

Oh. I look the same as I do now. Just with my hair down.

[She turns a little pink and she withdraws to play with her hair some.]

It's not really any different...

A little change can go a long way, though.

[He tilts his head and watches, waits for her to possibly put her hair down.]

I am sure you'd look pretty that way.

[Except the only time she ever takes her hair down is when she bathes and sleeps. He keeps watching her, and she can't help except to feel shy, which really isn't her. Conservative, maybe. Shy, not really.

She finally shifts and unties her hairpiece, before pulling one side down and then the other. And then she pretty much gets buried under a forest of blonde, light ringlets and waves here and there.]

I wasn't pretty before...? Or was I more... 'cute' with pigtails?

[Because 'pretty' and 'cute' aren't the same.]

You are pretty and cute with or without them, I feel.

[Aw. Isn't that adorable? That kind of reminded him of how he was when he removed the band from his hair. Messy green hair everywhere like a jungle or something. He never really felt the need to cut it off, but...

Hm. Maybe he should one day.]

You look spectacular. I would like to brush and play with your hair one day.

[Can she really possibly turn anymore pink than she already is? She blinks at him. And promptly tries to hide under her hair, which works surprisingly well.]

Uhm. It might sound odd, but no one's ever said that before.

[Or maybe no one's ever played with her hair.]

Hm. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised.

[Mainly because she seems to be almost as friendless as he used to be. He rubs his chin thoughtfully.]

You know... I have read that sleepovers have hair-styling as a staple. Maybe we could have a sleepover one day.

[Agitha won't say she's friendless. She considers all her bugs to be friends, after all, but she knows that those aren't the same as people like N and Gold.]

Sleepovers?

[Of course she has no idea what this is, or...]

Why are you so interested in my hair?

[And that's a very innocent question.]

Because I simply am. I'm not sure why except that it looks nice, or... no. Maybe it makes me think of the Berbee dolls I used to play with as a child.

[oh my god SERIOUSLY, what stuff did Ghetsis GIVE HIM]

I used to brush their hair all the time.

I'm not exactly a doll.

[It feels a little strange to have the implication that she could be compared to one.]

But I know I look like one. I like looking like one, but I'm not a doll. I hope no one forgets that.

[She doesn't know what a Berbee doll is either.]

Oh.

... So I suppose that is a no to the idea then.

[8( HE IS SAD but he doesn't horribly mind. He's not like, mad or anything. ~~Just seemin' kind of creepy.~~]

[She shakes her head.]

I'm not saying you can't play with it. I just want you to remember that I'm living and breathing, N.

I'm as much flesh and blood as you are. I just dress this way because I've grown up like that. My parents liked seeing me in it. It makes me feel like I'm better connected with them.

And I wear my hair up to keep it out of my face. It'd be hard to hunt for bugs otherwise.

Oh, yes, of course. I more meant that in the... metaphorical sense.

[Unless she doesn't like it that way either, in which case, WELP. What can a guy do?]

And where are your parents now? [If he was told already, it probably slipped his mind.]

Oh.

[A pause.]

Oh.

[She starts to laugh sheepishly and then she pauses when he asks about her parents. She's thought she mentioned it before, but perhaps she hasn't. She doesn't talk about them, after all.]

Uhm...

[Should she say she doesn't have any? No. Probably not.]

They passed away. When I was younger.

... Oh. Mm.

[What an intelligent reply. He's just kind of... dumbfounded now. What does he say to that? Clearly she must have raised herself the rest of the way, or someone else did. He is just going to guess at the former, much like he did before he'd been picked up by Ghetsis.

Hm, how did humans usually reply to this? Usually by giving them a comforting word, he noticed. He would do just that.]

I had no idea. I give you my condolences. [That is a good way to say it, right?]

So I suppose you simply... lived on your own since then. Perhaps with your bugs?

[She nodded. There wasn't much else anyone could say to something like that. So he was doing his best and she appreciated that.

There was another nod given.]

Yes! My bugs are my family.

[There was a smile given. Perhaps it covered her true feelings. Perhaps it was something else.]

[Oh, well, it looks like his reply was fine. That's good. He was kind of unsure about that.]

That's good. My Pokemon are my only family, too, at this point, so I feel we can relate.

[He wouldn't have it any other way, especially if 'another way' meant having Ghetsis in his life again. No thanks.]

[Agitha nods again, this time much slower.

Then she rubs at her cheeks gently.]

I think so, too. In a way, you sort of make me think of an older brother. Kind of. But I don't know how that would actually feel.
