Ripped off the last one: Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like.

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Harrass your least favorite teacher by throwing oranges at their window! Play your favorite survival horror game at night while subjecting your squeamish friends to your dark tastes! Get into a squabble with your next door neighbors about unappreciated late-hour rackets! Confess your love to the girl of your dreams after class is over! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Show this log no mercy.

I don't think I ever got along great with my parents either. They never liked the idea with me and boxing and well...I was a huge chicken and a crybaby back then. Came home with bruises and all sorts of stuff from school. Couldn't make friends easy.

After a huge accident, I wanted to change myself. So I worked hard to do so. And well, now I'm here.

That was about five years ago. My parents ain't around anymore.

[N paused for a moment, at a loss for words. What else could he even say? His eyes shifted to the nearby window as he watched the sunlight flood into the room, despite the dreary atmosphere.]

I'm happy with my life right now. I made the best friends a guy could ask for. I'm doin' what I like to do and I worked hard for every single bit of it. I meant what I said, I ain't afraid of hard work. It's gotta be done sometimes to get where ya wanna be. And well, despite the bad there was a lotta good. I'll miss my folks all the time but I couldn't afford to dwell on it for too long...

[No matter how much the trauma still hurts a lot from time to time and eats him a little, what he's saying here was fact. But he wasn't going to admit the trauma associated with this at all.]

He only recalled being able to do one thing. He did it to his Pokemon when they felt sad, so... maybe a human wouldn't mind.

He gave Mac a hug.]

That's okay, I get that...

[Oh. A hug. Hello hug. Mac paused for a moment. But Mac liked hugs okay. He never was opposed to hugs. Not ever. Maybe this situation called for hug. Situations like this were warm and Mac cherished them. Yeah it totally did call for it. Mac returned the hug with one as well.]

[YEP. Zoroark conveyed that by giving each boy a lick on the cheek.]

[To that, Mac also laughed.]

[Zoroark, you are such a pal. It looked like the mood had been lifted. Mac was glad we were all buds here.]

[Zoroark was going for one of them right now. It was a little Hot Wheels-esque car stage sort of thing. It was adorb.]

Sure. I came here to hang out and have fun afterall.

[It was all said and done anyway. Awww look at Zoroark and his little car. He looked toward the part of the room where the MP3 player was.]

I also wanted to see how your MP3 player's comin' along? Workin' okay for you?

[N glances over to it and frowns.]

It seems alright, but I'm not sure how to put music in it.

[He goes to his bed andddd TA-DA there is a laptop there. And a Carracosta. Who may or may not have moved it there.

N pressed the buttons and, once it got into the Windrows 7 operating system. BAM. There was N's computer.

... His wallpaper was the default wallpaper. He wasn't very good at this, clearly.]

[N, your computer life is so dull and boring we are gonna spruce you up. Just you wait. You're gonna be hip and cool beyond your wildest dreams.]

You download iTunes, yet?

[He will be the HIPPEST AND COOLEST.]

I believe so. [He looked to the computer and pointed at it.

It was just the setup .exe. It wasn't even installed yet, just ready to be installed.]

Okeey-dokkie...[Click click. And the installation came up. He finished the installation, easy enough for him. And eventually, they were welcomed to the main homepage of iTunes! The internet connections kicked in and they see a page FILLED with numerous artists, genres, TV shows, movies, and colored pictures. What do you think, N?]

[He thinks OVERWHELMING, clearly, from his expression.]

[Mac had to laugh a little.]

Don't worry, it's all fun. You could kill hours just findin' songs you like.

[He has a plug from the iPod package.]

But first things first, you gotta remember to plug this baby in or it'll just be a dead lump of tech stuff. Pluggin' it in also gets your songs from your Library into it.

[And he did so. Plugged it in. Then the page came up to name the iPod. Mac took the liberty to name it "N's iPod". And like that, it was set up! N's iPod! Mac took a few seconds to show him where the Library was and all that stuff which was a magic time skip of fun.]

...And you're all set! Whatcha wanna do now? Wanna see what they got?

I see... it actually is more simple than I gathered.

[Zoroark curiously came up to the iPod and sniffed it. Aw, it wasn't edible.]

Yeah, there you go! That's the basic one ya wanna use to go search for stuff. There's a lot of stuff to her but lemme tell ya...a thing is when you start buyin' stuff, they'll even come up with songs they recommend based on what ya buy.

Sometimes they even list random stuff that's for free!

[Mac's already clicked on "Music" and they are taken to "Genre"...And there's a whole list of shit "A-Z".]

Ya said you ain't too keen on rock and you ain't so sure what ya like...so you call the shots on what ya wanna take a look at.

It's a lot of violins, pianos, stuff like that.

[Nnnnoooot really Mac's taste but Mac can listen to anything really. And some of these people he does recognize just by sheer not being under a rock so maybe he won't be TOTALLY useless.]
