[The weather outside is cold. More than below freezing. It was only a matter of time then.
By tomorrow, the entire campus will be covered in a tiny layer of white.]
[[OOC - There will be a thread for one specific time; 14:23. Those that wish to catch the first snowflake can fight for it there! Please note that apart from the fact it has 7 sides, and doesn't seem to melt, the snowflake does not hold special powers. Otherwise, start threads as you see fit.]]

assuming this is okay since no one else is trying...
Goose's heart thumped. Oh, he knew what that was! He reached his hands up directly under it (at least, what looked like directly under it) and attempted to get it. He nearly missed it, but managed to snag it in his hand.
Oh man he got the snowflake, he got the snowflake, HE GOT IT.
"Nav', look at it!" He stretched his hand out and opened it up, revealing the gorgeous little snowflake in his palm.
It's all yours....
Gooseyjuice caught it! He really did! She looked into his hand in pure amazement. It didn't melt at all!
"That's so gorgeous," she chimed!

Goose was pretty proud. Maybe a little too proud, but WHO CARES, IT'S HIS.
"You oughta try to get one next year."

Goose laughed, a bit of a sassy tone lacing his voice. He kept his eyes on the snowflake, but they darted to Naval on occasion. "Look at it this way. If it didn't freeze some tropical kid, you think it'll freeze you?"
He didn't even give her any time to answer before he smirked and added, "Nope, didn't think so."
It was his odd way of reassurance.
