Roommate Partay!

Who: Everybody ever
What: OPEN LOG! ROOMIE LOG

Warnings: Don't even get me started.

You heard the "what"! It's a roomie log! What does this mean for our dudes? It's a good way to build CR between characters who are meant to interact on a daily basis, but somehow you never really get the chance to stick them together otherwise, in logs or commentspam or whatever! Here is a good chance.

Before you start a thread, I'd suggest getting the okay from the other character's mun just in case. Basically, just add a thread with the room number (and date/time, if it matters) and take it where you will! Go crazy, do whatever. Story swapping. Bed jumping. Nail painting. Slug wars in sleeping bags. ~It can be yours, my friend, as long as you make a thread.~

Don't just limit yourself to one thread, either. If it so appeases you, you could hold a thread with more than just two characters (Man cave in BE-01), or if that one thread between your two dudes wasn't enough, make another one for a different time. Have fun, guys! Get ready to bug your roommates and next-door neighbors. BLOCK PARTY BLOCK PARTY and then the RAs kicked everyone out.

Once again, Bulba had his nose in some text book or another when his visitor appeared in his doorway. He gave him a small smile as he looked over, folding the corner of his page.

"Hey."

"Your door was open poyo, want me to close it poyo?" Kirby asked, pointing at the door.

Oh. The Ivysaur shook his head, leaning back in his chair a little. "No, it's fine. I'll get it before I get to bed."

"Okay poyo." And then he grew curious of the book the other was just reading. "What were you reading poyo?"

Tonight's book was far more entertaining than usual. He tapped on the open page with a finger. "Just the recipe book for cooking class."

"Food poyo?" Was that drool coming from the corner of his mouth? Yes it was.

Was that drool? Yes it was. Oh no. Oh no that wasn't a good sign. Bulba didn't have any food immediately available to cure this. He chuckled a little and shut the book as if that motion would solve the issue entirely.

"In text form, haha."

What aww. Books never tasted good. Kirby responded with a frown. Hurgh.

Hey man books could be delicious. Not... that... Bulba would know or anything.

He wheeled around in his seat a bit. Time to change the subject if he couldn't feed him. "What are you doing up?"

"Oh." Kirby responded rather stupidly before saying the actual response. "I had to go to the bathroom poyoyo."

He gave a small laugh, scratching the back of his head.

"Oh." That made sense. Now he felt a little silly for asking but oh well. "Well don't let me keep you up, haha."

Unless... "Unless you want to come in for a little while?"

"Really poyo?!" Kirby bounced right into the room. Wow, why was he so excited? He didn't know, but sleeping over was always fun!

"Sure!" Because ~~Blastoise was going to show up and make gay times awkward soon~~ even if he hadn't offered, he wouldn't have been able to deny him when he was looking that excited about it. There was a little rush in his chest. It made him feel overwhelmingly happy, but there was an under running feeling of nervousness. He still hadn't brought that promise back up yet...

Bulba got up after the human puff ball hopped into the room, shutting the door just in case they started chattering too loud. It was kind of late after all. Didn't need Maxwell to come poking his head in to shush them.

"The other bed is totally free if you want it."

"Poyo, okay!" Kirby said cheerfully as he rushed over to the open bed and flopped around in it. That was when it struck him.

"The roommate left poyo?"

He also remembered he didn't really sleep well without his favorite star doll with him...

He chuckled and took a seat on the bed across the way. He frowned just a little at the roommate mention and shrugged. "Yeah. Said he had to go help his dad out."

Which meant he had the whole room to himself. Bulba didn't seem all that pumped about it.

Being alone in the room was something that was difficult to get used to, yeah. He felt especially sad when Ulty left.

'Poyoo... Well you'll get a new roommate soon poyo! I'm sure of it!" Kirby replied. And then, an idea! "Until then, maybe I can sleep over!"

Bulba really didn't know how to deal with sleeping on his own. There had been very few times in his life that he hadn't been beside someone while he slept, and they had all occurred during his time at the school. It left him feeling very uneasy.

"I'd be cool with that, if you want to."

Meaning he'd be positively delighted with that. He was already grinning again and looking a little relieved. "Would you need to go get anything from your room?"

A sleepover, aww yeaaah. Oh, right, he should get whatever he needed from his room.

"Poyo, yes poyo!" He exclaimed. "Be right back, poyo!"

With that said, he bounded out of the room, coming back moments later with his Stary doll.

"Poyoyo, I can't sleep well without this poyo." He replied with a laugh.

Ohhh yeah. Bulba recalled that Kirby often did have the little star with him during sleepovers. "I understand." He grinned a little sheepishly and pointed over at the wall where there was a little plastic Charmander plugged into the wall.

"I need that sometimes."

AKA ALL THE TIME.

Kirby gave a small giggle, not to make fun of, but in an understanding manner. And then he gave a small yawn. It was time to get some sleep.

"Good night Bulba poyo."

It was amazing how simply having someone else there was already soothing his unease and allowing him to feel sleepy as well. He yawned in turn, getting back up to his feet for a moment to hit the overhead light. Click.

"Good night, Kirby," he said gently. And then softer, mostly to himself, he added, "thanks."

If Bulba were to wake up the next morning, he may have realized that the pink ball had somehow moved from the other bed to his bed.

A mystery.

Hope your heart isn't weak, Bulba.

He had noticed. He had noticed and he altogether didn't mind in the slightest. Quite the contrary actually. Truth be told, he had woken up at some point during the night with the idea to do the exact same thing...

Only to find that Kirby had beat him to the punch, so to say.

When the sun started peaking through the window, it was pleasant to see that he hadn't rolled off anywhere during the rest of the night. Bulba kept an arm loosely curled around him so he didn't tumble off the bed, because that was never a fun way to wake up. He was still asleep though so Bulba just... watched for a moment.

And then maybe. Just maybe... a small kiss might have been pressed to the top of Kirby's head, but the action was too fleeting to be sure.

Kirby stayed sleep for a little while longer before he woke up to the growling of his stomach. He blinked his eyes open before giving a yawn and rubbing his stomach.

"Oh, good morning Bulba poyo!"

Bulba was grinning at him, propping himself up on his elbow. It was amusing that his stomach woke up before the rest of him did.

"Good morning," he returned, lightly poking Kirby in the stomach. "It sounds like you have a problem."
