Open Log: Now with 97% more molting!
Characters: Pit, anyone
What: Pit is undergoing extreme *~bodily changes~*like puberty or menstruation and is losing feathers like pocket change in a holy pocket.
Where: Up to you!
When: From Saturday, September 19th to Saturday, September 26.
Warnings: PINFEATHERS. 8C Self-conscious angels? Gdit. Not that he isn't going through perpetual molt already.
Basically, this is just a log where you can bump into Pit. Anywhere, anytime, anyone. Extra emphasis on ANYONE. You can find him in his room, you can meet him on the roof, down the halls, in between classes, in the courtyard, the common room, training at the stadium... anywhere! Just write in a date, time, and location. I will even wedge in a few starting threads to make it easier on those who can't think of a place/situation to interact with him. I should also mention that the further into the week you go, the worse his molt is. But I mean it: any excuse is good! I love tagging you guys, okay? 8C

September 22nd, Stadium
A White Feather. Curiously, she peered from her sandbag and saw the fellow student. It almost look like the angel had murdered a bunch of seagulls around him.
"I've heard about fallen angels, but this is ridiculous." She walked towards him. "Are you alright?"
Re: September 22nd, Stadium
"I'm just..." He swallowed. "Molting. That's all." Oh sweet heavens. This really was embarrassing.

Perhaps if she followed them long enough, she'd find the source~

Re: O hey is this a replacement Link I think so.
Replacement Link oh good grief.
You'll love it in time, Pit.
Shoulder imp? For me? Oh, it's too nice, I cannot accept such charity.
Oh no please, I insist.
Re: Oh no please, I insist.
Re: Oh no please, I insist.
Can I be the chosen hero then?
...Can you turn into a puppy?
Sorry, no. Will eggplants do you any justice?
Well eggplants are kind of tasty...
No, they're kind of gross.
Oh, I wouldn't actually know.

Roof of Boy's Dorms; September 20th, 9:30 AM
His thoughts departed from molting and rose to other subjects, like the end of summer, football practice, Angel Land, his friends, why his classes were switched around... when he was alone and doing nothing, he thought a lot.
Re: Roof of Boy's Dorms; September 20th, 9:30 AM
"They'll grow back in no time," Bonechill said quietly.
A single feather fell from one of Bonechill's wings and was carried away in the breeze.

September 23rd, Stadium, after FOOTBALLLS
Except these past three days, they'd left the stadium with the lawn covered in feathers. Falcon knew exactly where they were coming from, but he tried not to say anything. It was probably ridiculously embarrassing, and not something to draw attention to in front of a bunch of other students.
Still, the Captain just wasn't going to let it go, not when there were feathers all over the football field. Besides, he knew Pit was a trooper and would probably keep at practice even if the whole shedding...molting thing caused him discomfort. Falcon wouldn't know, but he wanted to give the kid the option to take a few days off from practice.
Unfortunately, there was no tactful way to begin this conversation, but at least he could catch the student after practice. "Hey, Pit. You have a minute?"

September 24th; At the edge of the woods; 6:30 PM
Nightfall grew more apparent with the closing rays of the sun, hidden at this point in time. It was a cool evening and he rather enjoyed it. The molting angel took another swig of his water and searched the sky for dawning stars.
Re: September 24th; At the edge of the woods; 6:30 PM
However, as he began to lower in altitude, he noticed a litter of white feathers leading to a particular angel near his touchdown point. Ulki was unable to decide upon a different location since he was so close to landing, so he did just that. His talons landed on the grassy earth, and as he stumbled forward ever so slightly, his form changed, going from hawk to human.
Since Pit was so... alone out here, Ulki decided that he should probably speak out of courtesy. "...Hello."

SOMEPLACE, SOMETIME god I'm bad at this
Okay, maybe that was a gross exaggeration. But Wendy was the kind of girl to go all the way, especially with complaints. Oh, how she would complain. She would complain to her Daddy, just as soon as she tracked down the culprit, who was at least leaving a nice little trail wherever he went.
So she was tracking the feathers to the source.
RUN PIT RUNRe: SOMEPLACE, SOMETIME god I'm bad at this
The door was left open. The feather trail hinted that this was where the culprit lay.

School; Sept. 25
When Kamek arrived at the school, he was graciously welcomed by unruly white feathers scattered in his path. Frowning, he lightly kicked at the trail. No doubt some of the brats were responsible for this. Probably the aftermath of some pillow fight. He ignored it and went on his way, expecting the place cleaned up by the next day.
However, they were still there, this time showing up in different places. Again, Kamek refused to let it bother him, taking in precaution to step over the trail and get it nowhere near his shoes. He quietly cursed in irritation.
The next couple days it was almost impossible to avoid running into those stupid feathers anywhere. By stars, if no one cleaned this up he was going to have a word with that forsaken janitor and remind him to do his job.
He didn't notice when they finally started to cling on his shoes, so it wasn't until when Kamek walked into his office and saw them sparsely scattered on the carpet floor did he decide he had enough of this absurdity. He was going to find the culprit and demand an explanation for this.
Shutting the office door behind him, Kamek began to track the feathers to the source.
Re: School; Sept. 25
Wow, he sure was doing a lot of wandering around this week. Pit sat against a tree near the front of campus, taking a break from everyone. He didn't bother to pick up any of these feathers, since for one, he was sick of doing it all the time, and two, the mess spread outside, not indoors where it would bother people. Well, technically it was, and all over the place too, but all Pit could pay attention to right now was the few feathers he could see from here. At this point in time, his molt was at its apex, when all the hideous blood feathers stuck out in straight lines and they were no longer so soft to the touch. He still had some downy feathers to lose and a few more secondaries racked up.
He picked at one of his pin feathers and scowled, rubbing the gray oily covering with his fingernail and chipping it off.

Saturday, Tubba's Room
You still haven't been to my room. Come over now or I'll have to be mad at you!
He sent it, quick and concise as it was, hoping that his threat came off as the joke it was. He still had a long way to go as far as making normal people jokes went, and frankly, he didn't have the experience to tell. Whatever, he could apologize to Pit when the angel got here if he'd taken it badly.
Re: Saturday, Tubba's Room
He left his room and ventured the four doors-long distance to the dorm that Tubba and the other Jeff shared. He remembered his wing problem and grew a little more ill at ease, then knocked quietly. He didn't mind feathers too much... did he?

September 23(Midday), Courtyard
Even though the conversation with Shinon at the Royal Ball happened nearly two months ago, it struck her in ways she haven't experienced before. Whether it's intentional or not, the mercenary's words left her questioning everything she believed in, wondering if her cause in finding the Lumas' mother's worth it in the end. She doesn't know for sure, but has a feeling on what she should or will do that would change her life forever. But the time isn't right yet. it's coming though, sooner than one may think.
Little did she realize that a stream of feathers are floating past her field of vision, being carried by the wind.
Re: September 23(Midday), Courtyard
"Miss Rosalina," he called in a singsong as he approached the bench.

IN A CLASS; September 21st
However, a gentle breeze from the window sends a few feathers dancing in the air, before finally falling over to Mario. One happens to land on his nose which tickles it. "Ah...ah...CHOOO!" he sneezes, and runs an index finger back and forth across his nose. "Excuse me." he says politely before getting back to his work. However, another breeze comes in and the same exact thing happens. And it's those feathers that don't go away when you sneeze. They just float in the air and magically come back down. He was starting to get a small collection of feathers on his desk.

September 21st, to his kitcheny classroom after class
He wasn't going back to his classroom for fun now, though. He was going in there for food. He was certainly very hungry. Would he bump into anyone on the way? Probably, if those white feathers on the floor were any kind of indication.

Track field, before foozeball practice, Thursday afternoon.
Oh yes, Pit, you aren't the only one losing your summer set of feathers.
Harley the very large, somewhat agitated spiderbird flew around in an ungainly manner while Knuckles ran his usual five hundred warm up laps of the track field before practice. Harley, being predisposed to flying over Knuckles, seemed completely oblivious to the annoyance he was causing his caregiver as multicolored feathers fell about the Echidna like rain - from teeny tiny downy ones to the occasional large pinion that was a definite stabbing hazard in the wrong hands.
Knuckles happened to see tha Angel and gave him a wave. See, Pit? No matter how bad you're molting, remember there's always someone worse off than you.

Sept. 24th, BE-8
His first guess was that one of his down pillows had exploded. Considering Pit was friends with that Lash girl, it was entirely possible. Except for the fact that both of his pillows were still safe and sound on his bed.
That meant the mess came from his roommate. Who had wings. With feathers. Of course that brought up the new question about why the angel was shedding. No, 'shedding' wasn't the right word. It was almost as if he was molting, like most birds do.
Regardless of the reason, Pit was doing a horrible job attempting to clean up after himself. The blond would have to have some stern words with the other boy. So he sat at his desk, trying his best to ignore the feathers that were strewn around while waiting for Pit to return to their room.

Delivery Store, Sept. 25, Afternoon.
He looked down and to his surprise he found white downy feathers under his feet.
Was he molting already? It couldn't be! Parakarry was sure that he still had a couple of weeks until molting season kicked in for him.
Ribbon, his pet Kargarok sound asleep. The feathers couldn't of belonged to her, they were a different color altogether. He couldn't figure it out.
It was at that moment another feather landed on the top of his head.
Re: Delivery Store, Sept. 25, Afternoon.
No, but there was a Pit in the general vicinity. He too had ivory wings stemming from his shoulderblades and fortunately for you, Parakarry, you're not molting like he is. Yet.
He seemed to be staring at the full feathers of Parakarry's appendages with a sad sort of envy.

About the feathers in the room? Perhaps Pit has been here for a while before deciding to play games. Sorry about your difficult never-ending job, Sir Janitor Raiden.
