Open Log: Now with 97% more molting!
Characters: Pit, anyone
What: Pit is undergoing extreme *~bodily changes~*like puberty or menstruation and is losing feathers like pocket change in a holy pocket.
Where: Up to you!
When: From Saturday, September 19th to Saturday, September 26.
Warnings: PINFEATHERS. 8C Self-conscious angels? Gdit. Not that he isn't going through perpetual molt already.
Basically, this is just a log where you can bump into Pit. Anywhere, anytime, anyone. Extra emphasis on ANYONE. You can find him in his room, you can meet him on the roof, down the halls, in between classes, in the courtyard, the common room, training at the stadium... anywhere! Just write in a date, time, and location. I will even wedge in a few starting threads to make it easier on those who can't think of a place/situation to interact with him. I should also mention that the further into the week you go, the worse his molt is. But I mean it: any excuse is good! I love tagging you guys, okay? 8C

Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
As a second thought, he wondered just how clean the feathers really were. Considering they were strewn across the room, he hoped they didn't contain any germs that could be detriment to his health. He had never actually seen Pit preen his feathers, so who knew. Then again, an image of the angel preening seemed rather ridiculous.
"Any other angel quirks I should be aware of? You know, like laying eggs or something?" he joked.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"Oh yes in fact would you like to take a look at my clutch? They're about ready to hatch 8U"Pit laughed at the remark. "Nnooo, no, no laying eggs. We're not birds, Jeff!" More laughter fell out. His index finger began playing with a wrinkle in the sheets. "I can't think of any right now, Jeff. What, you're curious, huh?"
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Glancing over at his roommate, the blond frowned at Pit's amused face. This whole conversation had meant to guilt-trip the other boy into cleaning up all the feathers. Laughter was not the desired effect, yet Jeff could feel his own mood lightening. Damn the angel and his infectious good spirits!
"Though I suppose I'm... maybe just a little bit... kind of curious..." he muttered, hoping Pit hadn't heard him.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Still amused, Pit replied. "I guess it's only natural. You seem to be more curious than most people I've met so far. It doesn't have anything to do with your last name, does it?" His smile grew wider and he rolled to his stomach once again, switching positions so his head rested on the palms of his hands and he was facing Jeff. His legs rose into the air and idly swung.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Well now he was just in a foul mood. Even the angel's good cheer couldn't detract him from his mental ranting about his dad. So instead, he simply sat there, quietly sulking and absentmindedly playing with some of the feathers between his fingers.

Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"Jeff? Ah, I'm sorry." He bit the very tip of his inner lip.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"Look... It has nothing to do with you," he muttered. An uncomfortable feeling grew in the pit of his stomach. "It's just... I don't like talking about my last name."
That was it. He wasn't going to expand on it. Nope, most definitely not. There were some things he preferred to keep under wraps, especially towards those who had no business knowing about his family life. But if Pit continued to look at him like that, Jeff had the sinking feeling that if the angel asked, he probably would tell.

Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"As an actual name, I guess it's alright..." he slowly started. "It's just... I don't like sharing the same last name as my dad. We're not exactly on... 'friendly terms'."
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"Has it always been like that?"

Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Sighing, the blond realized he was telling Pit more than he had every told anyone else. Even Hyde didn't know about the teen's compromise with his father. Telling so much of the truth left him feeling a bit vulnerable. And he didn't like it.

Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"Sorry it had to be brought up- I didn't know it was such a touchy subject for you." He could tell the subject was a hard wound to bear, and by talking about it he was just scratching it open again. At the same time, he also knew that talking about painful things might heal, despite how much it hurt or made the person feel uncomfortable.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
His smirk immediately faded when Pit apologized. "It's... just something I rather not think about. That's all." Of course after this conversation, he had no doubt that he was going to waste quite some time later that night
poutingangstingreflecting. Waving it off, he replied, "Don't worry too much about it."Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
For a while, he remained quiet, thinking about Jeff and what his family must be like. "Do you have a mom, too?" It was a delicate question, because who knows whether or not his mom died in a terrible accident or something. Nonetheless, he wanted to find out.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
"What does she look like?" he asked.
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Jeff was about to ask Pit about the angel's mother, but then he remembered. So instead, he asked, "What does Palutena look like?"
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
His voice streamed with precious excitement- he was really passionate about his topic. "She is the most beautiful figure ever to be seen," he sighed, eyes rolling upwards dreamily. "It would make mortals dumb with disbelief. She stands tall and poised, has long, long hair the color of springtime meadows, a serene face, beautiful eyes- if you looked into her eyes, you'd think she could read your mind! But I don't worry about that. She's so wonderful, I could care less about her knowing my intentions. She's incredibly strong, too, and wise. Her aura is bright and powerful. Even we angels are stricken by her mere presence!" He detached his frontside from the bed and alighted on the floor. "She's something else. I don't think words could do her enough justice. I'd love to have you meet her, or at least see her."
Re: Sept. 24th, BE-8
Though he couldn't help that nagging feeling of curiosity. Even if she was a goddess and he was a mortal, he couldn't help but want to meet her. But that was a very doubtful happening. Not wanting to seem dumb, he decidedly kept his mouth shut.
