Open Log: Now with 97% more molting!

Characters: Pit, anyone
What: Pit is undergoing extreme *~bodily changes~* like puberty or menstruation and is losing feathers like pocket change in a holy pocket.
Where: Up to you!
When: From Saturday, September 19th to Saturday, September 26.
Warnings: PINFEATHERS. 8C Self-conscious angels? Gdit. Not that he isn't going through perpetual molt already.

Basically, this is just a log where you can bump into Pit. Anywhere, anytime, anyone. Extra emphasis on ANYONE. You can find him in his room, you can meet him on the roof, down the halls, in between classes, in the courtyard, the common room, training at the stadium... anywhere! Just write in a date, time, and location. I will even wedge in a few starting threads to make it easier on those who can't think of a place/situation to interact with him. I should also mention that the further into the week you go, the worse his molt is. But I mean it: any excuse is good! I love tagging you guys, okay? 8C

Ulki nodded, studying the angel. There would really be no logical explanation for Pit's species. Maybe he really wasn't a heron? Perhaps Ulki would be allowed to know.

"Mmm... yes. It's difficult not to notice," he mused absentmindedly. Pit's molting didn't really interest him.

"Early summer," he responded. Even though it wasn't every day a laguz would ask another when they molt, the question didn't come off as too weird, especially because Pit actually had wings to molt with.

[[Here's Emily, trying to figure out if that's true or not because the internet is being ambiguous...]]

As Ulki remembered, feathers came out a lot more than normal, but it took a good three months or so to complete. The feathers definitely took their time growing in after that and one of the worst things is the inability to fly and the constant cravings for food. It was his least favorite time of the year by far.

"Yes, that is... mostly correct," he briefed.

"The twenty-fourth," he reminded him, still wondering if it would be appropriate to ask what species Pit was. After all, if he recalled correctly, Pit said something like, being a bird, you molt only a few feathers at a time, right? Maybe he could work from there.

"If you don't mind... you said something about me being a bird. It's as though..." he trailed off, unsure of how to word his statement. "How do I word this... you're not a bird."

Well, that was a given, his wings being white and whatnot. Still, he had said the same thing over the journal networks... and Ulki just couldn't grasp it. A mask of doubt became evident through his eyes and expression.

"An angel?" Even his voice allowed Pit to know his disbelief.

Well, honestly, Ulki didn't really know. "Claiming you're an angel seems... unorthodox," he figured, his eyes breaking away from the angel of light.

"However, I question your species because there are laguz from my continent that also have feathers of white." The laguz's eyes met with Pit's body once more. "Yet... you do not quite fit the criteria of the species in question," he mused under his breath.

It was definite that Pit wasn't a laguz, especially at this point. He really didn't know much of what Ulki was talking about. Was he really an angel?

"Heron laguz... have white wings if they are royalty," he explained. "However, they also have blond hair. Not brown." He ended this with a short nod.

Okay, this was definitely an angel. Ulki's eyes widened in what could be classified as fear, and he backed off. He'd never seen anything like that in his entire life, but that was to be expected: he had never seen an angel. His mouth opened, as though he were in awe.

"Is this... what angels do?" He hesitated before uttering the word 'angel'. Was that really what Pit was?

"Er. Kind of." Glowing, more like, but if Pit liked sparkle a little more which I know he does that gaymo angel then so be it.

Psh. Angels.

Ulki was surprised. Was he admitting to himself that Pit may be an angel? "Are you an angel?" He blurted. Pit had already told him that he was, but it was so difficult for Ulki to believe him.

Even though anyone could guess that angels were peaceful creatures that weren't out to hurt you, Pit's presence suddenly felt daunting to the hawk laguz. He diverted his gaze and focused on the ground in front of his feet. "Ah..."

The hawk laguz affirmed Pit's statement with a nod. He took another good look at Pit before taking off into the sky, deciding he would just land on the roof and go on from there.

Weird. Maybe Pit really was an angel. Sure, he had undeniable proof, but it was so hard to grasp.
