While over the first weekend after the poison incident the little whiteboard outside his door had "Out of Town" scrawled on it, as of that Sunday night it had been a steady "In." Maxwell had been holed up working on whatever sort of scientific things it was that he was working on at the time, appearing out of the room when it was time for his rounds or he was actually in classes.

But, as he had said it would be, his door was always open when he was there.

Depending on the time, there might have been a pot of tea brewing! Or perhaps a myriad of strange recording equipment littering the coffee table. Uh…? Well ok.

[Ahh, the hot springs. Deeply nestled a few hours away from the school, the legendary Majou no Toki resort, once rumored to be run by Tanooki  themselves. The weather is still pretty hot at this time of the year and you're all lucky; today is WARM AND SUNNY!

Packed with little more than a small luggage bag, and bathing suits for those who want to stick to the mixed springs, you are brought here by a sadly uneventful bus ride, apart from that time a T-rex started to chance everyone along the road and ate the first bus driver and OH GOD IT WAS TERRIBLE but you're all here alive and in one piece. That's what counts.

You are brought inside, where an old man and woman inspect everyone, shake Ganondorf's hand and you are then all whisked away to tiny little rooms with square mats and bamboo floors. Here, there are a few refreshments and food; gotta start the trip with some food right? For the teachers, there is sake. you can have more if you like, but beware, it's powerful stuff.

Afterward, you are all told you must take a full shower before entering the springs. It makes sense hmmm? You don't want to get in their dirty and contaminate them right? That would be incredibly impolite. Here is what a shower looks like. You have to kneel.

Now here's the fun part! If you're going to the mix springs, you can put on your bathing suit now. If you are much braver, the male and female only (non mixed) springs, you are given a tiny white towel to walk around for your modesty. Once you are in the water, however, it comes off. Time to get up close and intimate with other students and teachers, huh? But don't worry, there's nothing sexual about this. It's just your mind wanting to do that. And that's what this course is for.

Right.

Oh, and please don't mind those little cursed puddles in the back and the door leading to them that says "not enter" in red letters. Oh wait. The sign came off last week during an accident. Oops. Now it's just a door leading to some puddles. Hmmm....]

Now this was an unusual sight. At least recently. Perhaps last year, he might have sneaked off into the library to read a most delightful tale to a few of the younger students, but so much had changed that repeating such an event would almost seem an offense to himself. Or so, he would like to think.

Regardless, he was not here for such...pleasantries. Rather, he was browsing the Hyrulian section, of all places. A secret to most, the library held many copies of texts that the Hyrule library itself had. For someone who could not go there, this place was a small boon. Ganondorf needed that information, if he was to slowly lay out the plans before him. The maps, the history, the legends of the triforce...Yet his mind still forever lingered about thoughts of Nabooru. Every symbol, a constant reminded of the woman he had to throw out. For a second, and not visible to much of anyone else, he frowned uncharacteristically. His gaze returned to the nearest volumes, and he sat down in one of the many chairs dotting the grand room, beginning to read.

The duel with Kamek had left Ganondorf unable to stop the wizard from attempting to turn him into a small bird-like lizard. However, the koopa had vastly underestimated just how powerful the Triforce of Power could be, if it felt threatened. The result was that his form had been twisted into a much more large, dangerous, predatory and ancient-like animal that looked about the same shape and size as an ancient dinosaur.

Unfortunately, the brain had remained the same, and despite his impressive abilities and self-control for the first few hours, the Gerudo King soon found himself lost to his animal blood lust. All that remained currently was a small recollection of several students and teachers he knew well, the instinct to hunt, and the urge to mark his territory and fight those that would question it.

If you happen to come near him, the tell-all gem stuck on his forehead would be an indication of who this might be. No he doesn't have his clothes on. You may want to run if he gets a sniff of you and be very afraid. Just be happy that none of his powers or his mind currently works well right now, so he should be easy to outmaneuver. Your life depends on it.

The weather had been incredibly hot that morning, causing the city's electricity consummation to rise dramatically as all of the air conditionnners were being used at once. This afternoon, a very cold front was fast approaching. The result were predictable. The sky had turned dark grey by mid afternoon, and now there were sounds of thunder that was fast approaching. Most would call it ruined weather, but for men like Kamek and Ganondorf, it was the perfect time for a wizard's duel. The raw energy from mother nature only served to heightened their senses and abilities, which would cause havoc to the school soon. But we'll get to that part later.

The Gerudo's King mood had barely improved during the last few weeks after his talk with Nabooru. More reserved and keeping to himself except for classes, those that knew him either knew what was wrong, or didn't dare ask.

"These two trees are a fine target," he said, pointing to two large coniferous in the nearby forest.

A wizard's duel. He hadn't had one of those since his earlier days at school. It had lead, at the time, to one of the reasons why the Hands had decided to lock his magical powers. Ganondorf had grown tremendously since then. No longer the teenager with a name to prove, he was now a King with so much to loose. And so much he had already lost. The situation left him between not caring for anything and being overly protective of what he had left. This duel would provide him with a good enough distraction.

After having exchanged a few magical blows, he had found the old Magikoopa to be excellent in simple spells. Kamek's age and experience were a good offset to Ganondorf's raw power. Now they were moving on to much more dangerous territory. Spells from a distance, controlling the very earth and plants. A person's life in their hands could become so fragile and dangerous.

Lightning struck farther away. The wind was blowing and it was coming their way soon.

"Begin."
