Sometimes... Sometimes people just needed things. Basic necessities, food, clothes, video games... Of course, after the big Angry Birds attack a few days ago, it was likely people needed to replace broken things too. (How did that even happen anyway...)

Whatever the reason, the mall was the place to be.

"I dunno." He says, eyeballing a witch costume that needed a bit more black cloth to qualify as anything other than a scarf and a pointy hat.

"I think it's kinda funny. What's the point?"

Other than taking it back off again in creative fashion, of course, but he's not going to say that.

"I think I have a good idea of what the point is," Blaze said, blushing a bit as she actually thought about it for the briefest of moments.

She idly wondered if Sonic would like to see her in a sexy halloween costume...

"Have you thought about whether you'll dress up for halloween this year?" she asked him curiously, wondering if she could perhaps find a witch costume that actually had, you know, fabric.

"Sure, why not? I usually do."

"You uh... wanna get matching costumes? I mean, not from HERE, somewhere else." He adds.

She didn't have to think hard about it, and nodded with a smile. "Yeah... I think that would be nice," she said. "I hadn't thought of anything to be yet, so that would solve that problem for me too."

"So... What kind of matching costumes should we get?" she asked.

They move to the checkout, Sonic poking at perfume bottles and anything else shiny on the way.

"Maybe a witch and a warrior? Or how about a mummy and a zombie? Oh, I know! How about I go as Eggman, and you dress up as me?"

...

"Uh, for the record, that last one sounded a lot less weird in my head."

"Y-yeah, I don't... think that last one would work," she said, rolling her eyes. "But I like that first one... A witch and a warrior... That has potential. Like a fantasy adventure party..."

"Yeah! We can even see if the others wanna play along." He suggests as they leave the store, Sonic collecting her bag to hold it for her.

"Why don't we go get the costumes now? While we're out?"

"That would be fun," she said. "I can just see Knuckles as a barbarian!" She actually laughed a bit... Laughter from Blaze wasn't all that common, was it?

"That's a great idea!" she added as they cashed out, making to grab her bags, but seeing Sonic insisted on holding them for her, causing her to blush a bit. "I think there's a temporary costume shop on the lower level."
