Sometimes... Sometimes people just needed things. Basic necessities, food, clothes, video games... Of course, after the big Angry Birds attack a few days ago, it was likely people needed to replace broken things too. (How did that even happen anyway...)

Whatever the reason, the mall was the place to be.

Ronnae smiled awkwardly embarrassed, not keeping eye contact because she felt she wouldn't be able to speak if she did so.

"Oh w-well I'm new to these parts so It's harder to pick out things... but I've found somethings I've l-liked... But I'd love a second opinion please."

"Hey, we were all new here once," she pointed out. "I get you. Don't worry about it! Let's see what you've got!"

Shifting in place, Ronnae managed to smile a little thanks to Shantae's encouragement.

"Well, h-here..." she put her bags on a table that was besides then, next to a pretzel stand. "D-do you want maybe t-to eat while here?" A snack wouldn't be bad.

If Shantae went ahead and checked out her shopping spree she'd find lots of casual clothing that was very form-hiding. Lose sports/jogging pants, hoodies, oversized t-shirts, some assorted cutesy panties and one plain bra because let's face it, finding something for her sized breasts was near to impossible unless it was custom.

"Bit of a modest selection," Shantae said while Ronnae picked up some pretzels, poking through the bags Ronnae had on hand. "I mean, you look gorgeous. Not gonna get anything to show off a bit?"

She came across the one big plain bra, and shook her head. "Come on, you need more than just THIS," she said.

"S-show off?! N-no I... I don't really n-no..." her face was completely red, but she still brought about a couple of pretzels and some pretzel cinamon-sugar balls. Along with some drinks.

"I... not unless it's in private I guess..." she looked around hoping no one was listening in on this.

"Huh. Well, everyone's got their own thing," Shantae said. "Just need to work on your confidence before you take that plunge. But you so need more than just the one here," she told her, taking one of the pretzels and a drink.

Looking down, Ronnae nodded. "I know I... I just... It's hard to find something for fitting..." she looked down at her chest and inadvertently pressed them together and sighed. "These..."

Shantae glanced down, and her cheeks got a little pink. "Yeah, I can imagine," she said, peeling her gaze away. "Well... What if I helped you out?" she offered. "Maybe I can find something for you."

Ronnae looked up at Shantae and while her face was completely red, it was cooling down a bit as she looked thoughtful. "Help?"

It's true that she didn't have her siblings or parents in this world to help her out. They were usually leaps and bounds more adept at finding good casual clothing for her than she'd ever be. So having someone offer to help made her yearn for it. But could she?

"I... I don't want to be a bother..."

"It's no bother," Shantae reassured her. "I've got the time, so why not? We are gonna make you fashionable AND comfortable!" she announced proudly.

Blushing but smiling nonetheless, Ronnae nodded once and looked down timidly.

"Thanks..." a small, covered giggle. "I guess I am kind of a wreck in that department..." Because honestly she really had no clue about fashion, nowhere near like some of her siblings or parents.

"Don't worry about it," Shantae said as they finished off their snacks and got going. "You just need some lessons, and luckily for you, I'm ready to be your teacher!"

"T-thanks a lot for this, I mean it." she voiced sheepishly as Shantae took them on their quest for clothing.

"Now, you want to go for more concealing stuff, and that's fine, but we can still make it look good," she explained. "But for you, I think we need to start at the beginning. And that means we're going bra shopping."

As they arrived at the destination, Shantae led Ronnae to the back. "You know your measurements?" she asked.

Ronnae fidgetted in place, completely red faced as she looked down fiddling her thumbs. Eventually she gave a small nod and leaned closer to whisper her meassurements to Shantae. Now whether she heard them or not, that's a different story! And anyone else who might have had enhanced hearing which she was worried about.

Shantae perked a bit as she listened, eyes widening in surprise. "Wow, really? Dang."

"No problem!" she quickly added, to make sure Ronnae wasn't feeling too self-conscious about the admission. "We can make it work. The trick is just looking in the right place, and we can find something that fits and looks good." She quickly started to rummage through the racks, plucking some of the biggest ones up. "Luckily this place might just have what we're looking for!"

The initial comment had her ready to bolt, clearly embarrassed. But Shantae reassured her quickly and that kept her around, at least for a while longer.

"I hope so..." she looked around nervously while Shantae was helping her out.

"Are you sure I'm not bothering you? I don't want to take away from your time you know?... But... I really do appreciate it nonetheless."

"Hey, what did I tell you? It's no trouble, and I've got plenty of time," she reminded her companion, finishing her search and returning with a few options, some plain, some more decorative and attractive.

"So chin up, and let's get you taken care of," she added, gesturing towards the changing rooms.

"Oh well, o-okay." She finally smiled, a bit more at ease thanks mostly in part ot Shantae's attitude. It was sort of infectious and it felt good.

She followed her over and opened the door to the changing room and looked back. "So, where do ya wana start?" She'd let Shantae lead pace and offer what she should try first.

Shantae hung up the items she had selected, choosing one of the plain bras to start off with. She turned and presented it to her companion. "All right, try this one first. We'll make sure this brand fits, and then we can go for looks," she suggested. "Work for you?"

Ronnae nodded and smiled sheepishly. She grabbed the offered item and went in, but turned before closing the door.

"Hey... t-thanks." With that, she stepped in to try out the new bra.

After a few minutes, she opened the door a crack and looked at Shantae. "Ready to s-see?"

"What did I say? It's no trouble at all!"

"C'mon, girl, let's see what you've got!" she said eagerly when Ronnae poked her head out.

Making sure there was no one else around, at least none that she could spot, she opened the door carefully and stood timidly as she showed herself to Shantae.

"H-how does it look?"

The baggy sweater worked wonders to disguise her figure, and without it, Shantae's jaw dropped a bit at the sight. How were such curves even possible??

"Wow. Just, wow," she said simply, catching herself and nodding, walking an observant circle around Ronnae. "I think we have a winner," she said. "It feels comfortable?"

Ronnae was really sheepish but was smiling at Shantae's compliments and was feeling better than usual.

"Y-you think so? It does feel pretty nice..." She looks down at herself and moves around a bit in it while in place. "I like it..."
