merry merry christmas, and I want you to know
Who: YOU
What: KISSLETOES
When: December 14th - January 1st
Where: Everywhere
Warnings: Sloppy makeouts.
SUDDENLY, AND WITHOUT WARNING...

The entire school has become covered in mistletoe overnight. It grows out of the walls! The ceilings! Everywhere you least expect it? HOW CAN THIS BE??
It's probably best not to think about it. Attempts to uproot the plants or burn them away only makes the plants grow back faster. For the time being, it seems the school must live with it.
[OOC INSTRUCTIONS:
+ Post dudes, get kisses!
+ Some (NOT ALL) plants are cursed. If you manage to step under a cursed plant, you will exchange a memory when or if you exchange a kiss. The memories will be first-person and very vivid, and characters will feel like they are experiencing the memory in real time, though in reality the transfer is instantaneous. Memories can be as short, long, happy, sad, or traumatic as you like.
+ If you'd like to participate, we highly suggest making a list of a few memories (with accompanying links/descriptions) that are up for grabs, and linking or posting the list in your top-level comment. Memory exchange is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. When in doubt, OOC communication!
+ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAG YOUR CHARACTERS
+ That's it, we love you.]

"Ah, but... well, yes, I imagine so. I just... I'm not the best at pleasing people, er, visually. You, ah, you're very..." He's pretty sure it's wrong to call a teacher pretty. "I mean, your dancing, it must be stunning, I imagine. Inspiring just to see, I bet. I just, I prefer the spiritual side of things, where people can't... can't see the mess of limbs."

"E-er, it's not... I mean. It isn't bad," she began, a little uncertain how to reply. If she said she'd heard it before, it sounded a little vain and she was anything but vain. If she dismissed it, he might have thought she wasn't putting any stock into what he had to say. A classic case of 'damned if you do; damned if you don't.'
"That's very nice of you to say," she finally managed to squeeze out, because it was true. "I-I hope one day you'll come to my class to see if your theories are true." It'd be interesting to get his opinion and beneath her kindness and seemingly altruistic personality, Olivia's high maintenance emotional state often led her onto a path of necessary opinions.

"I... I'll think about it, I promise." He certainly had to, after a comment like that, he had to, just to see her work and confirm his hasty assumptions. Actually dancing himself, though... that was still too large an act of courage to promise on.
This would be the point where he'd hastily excuse himself and rush off to berate himself, if not for one particular issue. "I, er. I, I hate to bother you further, but, ah..." He pointed up, to the mistletoe. "If you don't mind, I mean, I have... work I should be getting to..."

(But to be fair, Olivia had very few first meetings where she disliked anyone.)
She was still thinking about what their future encounters could be like when he continued. As he gestured to the mistletoe, she followed his motion and nodded slowly, trying not to redden too much over the very concept. Then with all of the care she could muster, she neared him just enough to set a kiss to his cheekbone.
"Did... that work?" Because who knew how the mistletoe really worked. Just when she thought she had it figured out, it still sometimes left her reeling with the possibilities.
