A rather dull weekend over Webflix

Who: Charlise and anyone who happens upon the game room.
What: Lazy, rainy weekend.
Where: Game room
When: Weekend 7/11 - 7/12
Warnings: It's Kitty. That's warning enough.

Ever since returning to Smash, Kitty had felt sort of distant. Not in the way she had felt before, but more in the way of being confused and without purpose. She already knew she felt alone due to the lack of having some of the very few people she got close to. Even if she'd never tell them, she did feel lost without them, her team. A glimmer of silver was the fact that, while under her own problems and stress, Evve was still around. And she had heard that the ketchup meathead was still around too as well as her old roommate. But alas, they had their things, their friends and their lives to live. Kitty had... well, Kitty had fuckall.

She had made her way down to the front, and had packed a bag with treats in hopes that maybe an outting in the woods that she used to haunt would give her some answer and as soon as she opened the damned doors a fucking downpour decided to break lose. You know what they say about summer rains? Well fuck them.

She looked back and saw that the game room lobby was empty, probably because everyone was out and about having a blast during summer <s>unbeknownst to Kitty of the crazy shit happening around the school</s>. Making her way to the couch, she dropped down, set her bag besides her and loaded up Webflix on the widescreen. Maybe it was just a movie day...

Or days... cause Kitty just lost track of time while marathoning movies and series. You'll find her through two days worth of movies and random shows, nibbling on her snacks as she rearranges herself every so often. The genres vary but you'll generally find her watching depressing shit, horror movies, suspense, sci-fi, thrillers, psychological and that sort of thing.

The protagonist's girlfriend was checking out the dark garage with a flashlight, hearing strange noises, and thinking it was her cat. Just before the masked serial killer could jump out from the shadows and stab her, though, the screen suddenly faded to fuzzy static, Poltergeist-style. ...Which doesn't make a lick of sense on a digital TV streaming digital media over a digital network connection. What is this, 1994?

Anyhoo, a dark shape starts to take form amidst the static on the screen... something round with a tall, sharp point. The sound of the static starts to buzz and gurgle, cycling up and down in pitch, as though there were some kind of electrical interference. A moment, later, a voice could be heard, not from the TV's speakers, but directly from the strange fuzzy shape resolving in the middle of the screen. Sounds like a young kid, male, maybe 14-ish.

"I'm sorry... Is someone there?"

"Never saw the appeal of this shit."

Nice choice, Kitty! A little classic Romero? Green faced ghouls grabbing up handfuls of people's internal noodle parts and chowing down? Great fun!

....unless you came from a world where having your gut-sketti and meatballs yanked out and nommed on by the sorta living dead was a very real possibility. WAY TO BE INSENSITIVE KITTY. GOSH.

Though, if Joel was that offended, he probably wouldn't be sitting down on the other couch.

Hilda was the right age for scary movies. The thrill of being able to go into a movie theater and say 'Hello, I would like to purchase a ticket to your R-rated feature film for adults, because I am an adult,' still hadn't worn off yet. That being said, they gave her the willies.

She had jogged into the game room to see if anyone felt up to playing video games or cards or something, but instead she found... A KILLER CLOWN!!

At least, that's what it looked like was on the television. He was making shadow puppets and there was moving popcorn all over some poor girl's bathroom and this looked like a bad time, man. Needless to say, she stood at the doorway staring at the TV for a minute or two before she looked around the room to find out who was watching. And then she accidentally let out a gasp when the soundtrack flared up and the leading lady screamed.

"S-sorry... Hey, uh... You mind if I pull up a chair?" She asked, still hanging back near the entrance, "I gotta see where this one goes."

Pidge was never a big fan of rain; it would make a huge mess out of his nice feathers that he took so long to take care of. That didn't mean he would be completely okay running into depressing shows being streamed in the lobby as he passed by.

Why would someone willingly watch something sad on such a gloomy day?

"Why would one want to watch these?" Pidge blurted out before clearing his voice. So much for trying to be Careful nature...
