A rather dull weekend over Webflix
Who: Charlise and anyone who happens upon the game room.
What: Lazy, rainy weekend.
Where: Game room
When: Weekend 7/11 - 7/12
Warnings: It's Kitty. That's warning enough.
Ever since returning to Smash, Kitty had felt sort of distant. Not in the way she had felt before, but more in the way of being confused and without purpose. She already knew she felt alone due to the lack of having some of the very few people she got close to. Even if she'd never tell them, she did feel lost without them, her team. A glimmer of silver was the fact that, while under her own problems and stress, Evve was still around. And she had heard that the ketchup meathead was still around too as well as her old roommate. But alas, they had their things, their friends and their lives to live. Kitty had... well, Kitty had fuckall.
She had made her way down to the front, and had packed a bag with treats in hopes that maybe an outting in the woods that she used to haunt would give her some answer and as soon as she opened the damned doors a fucking downpour decided to break lose. You know what they say about summer rains? Well fuck them.
She looked back and saw that the game room lobby was empty, probably because everyone was out and about having a blast during summer <s>unbeknownst to Kitty of the crazy shit happening around the school</s>. Making her way to the couch, she dropped down, set her bag besides her and loaded up Webflix on the widescreen. Maybe it was just a movie day...
Or days... cause Kitty just lost track of time while marathoning movies and series. You'll find her through two days worth of movies and random shows, nibbling on her snacks as she rearranges herself every so often. The genres vary but you'll generally find her watching depressing shit, horror movies, suspense, sci-fi, thrillers, psychological and that sort of thing.

Regardless, the movie had seemingly reached the climax. The protagonists, if you could even call them that, had just found out the reason for the ghost's bitter and vengeful resolve. Confused as to wether they should help avenge her in hopes of the act stopping her, or trying to escape the country in order to avoid it.
For now, they seem to have simply been trying to stay awake, alert and running away.

Hilda figured it out at the same time the main characters did, and... She was in the same boat. Like, as much as she wanted to see these guys appease the spirit and bring peace back to the house, how would they even go about it? Just running away didn't seem right, but maybe it was the right choice?
The, uh, ghostly hand grabbing the back of someone's head while she was showering made her jump at the same time the actress screamed. MAN WHO EVEN THINKS UP THIS STUFF THAT'S MESSED UP

Charlise did get a chuckle out of Hilda jumping at the shock scenes... It even brought a small, fair smile to Kitty's face. Hilda really was adorable wasn't she? That kind of made Kitty smack her own face and shake it off. What the hell was she thinking?!
Though at least the movie seemed to be picking up and that would keep her from being embarrassed. The woman had somehow managed to free herself from the grip that would have surely been her end. Now, running down the halls stark naked, as light blew continuously behind her. Sparks flew in every direction as she stumbled and slid right into the open elevator that had the other protag looking dumbfounded in it as she screamed; 'CLOSE IT CLOSE IT CLOSE IT!'
Yeah, because closed elevators kept ghosts out right? Kitty rolled her eyes, though considering there was still a bit of time left on the movie, she was going to assume that this stupid act wasn't the end for the protagonists. Seriously? Who would trap themselves like that when running away from a ghost?

Hilda instinctively put her hands over her eyes because she was so certain something terrible would happen, but after a moment with no bloodcurdling scream she spread her fingers a little so that she could watch through the gaps.
The lights in the elevator started flashing and something thumped against the doors, like something was going to bust its way inside...! Was it the ghost? A horrible demon monster the ghost conjured up? Was it the ghost of the ghost? "Open up, it's me!"
...Or it was another one of the protgaonists. That was his voice, right?

Out of sheer fear they refused to open, even as the screaming grew louder and more desperate. They looked at each other, torn as to what to do... it could be a trick, or it could be their friend. Eventually reaching a decition, they hesitantly reached for the button that would open the doors... Right as a blood curling scream broke through the previous noise. Screams of agony and pleading, beggin and crying could be heard as the person who was on the other side was audibly dragged away from the doors.
The two that were inside were shocked, the lady clinging to the man crying histerically while he sobbed at the seeming loss of their friend. However, the opportunity they were waiting for might have just arisen! With the ghost presumably busy with their friend, they pushed the button for the bottom of the building and hoped they were fast enough to escape this cursed place.

The elevator ride was silent besides the crying, but the doors opened to darkness. Oh no... They were trying to make a break for it, but suddenly the ghost hands were coming out of the ground and trying to grab their feet! Oh no, oh man, this was getting rough...

Will they make it?
Kitty kept an eye on both the flick and trying to keep sight of Hilda. She wanted to see how she would react.

It was probably fun to watch, at least, but she had no clue that Kitty kept glancing over at her.
Meanwhile, on the screen, the guy practically tackled the door but it wouldn't open. Oh no, OH NO, was the ghost already there, or was it just locked!? The girl stumbled and fell down a few feet away, and he ran back to help her to the door...

This was their chance, this was freedom, safety... Would they make it out? The elevator dinged behind them as it's doors slid apart revealing a misty and ominous shadow. It clawed its way out of it and began making its way towards them. They only had one way out and the spirit was making haste to catch them.
Kitty smirked, seems like it was coming to a close but would it be a good end? Or a bad end? She eyed Hilda to see if she'd keep attention, it was always a bummer when you missed the conclusion of such an intense movie.

Somebody shoulda called some ghost hunters or something, because this was too crazy like an hour ago. She had already unknowingly leaned forward in her chair throughout the course of the movie, and now she was literally on the edge of her seat. Suspense was the worst, seriously -- would a happy ending where the spirit is peacefully avenged and everything's all hunky-dory be so bad?
Both of the heroes were almost out the door when the shadowy creature wrapped its claws around the guy's arm and tried to pull him back towards the elevator. The girl was screaming and trying to pull him out of the building as hard as she could, but who was gonna win this tug-of-war?

"Let go. Save yourself. We'll both be dragged in..."
To which the girl responded with a frenzied shake of her head. "No! I can't! I won't!" she cried. Meanwhile, the shadowy tendrils eveloped him more and more. "Let go! I want you to live please! Live for both of us!" The girl, once again refused to let go, crying and shaking her head, desperately trying to pull him out of the spirit's grasp.
However, in one strong pull, the man loosened his grip and let go of the girl. A howling scream echoed through the hall as the guy was pulled into the shadows. "RUN!" he screamed as his voice trailed of. "I LOVE YOU!" To which of course Kitty rolled her eyes. The girl cried but listened, turning tail and running as fast as she could, breaking through the shadows of the hall and into the light of the outside world. Even then, she ran. Ran past the gate, the streets. Ran past cars and people, frantically crying. Nothing seemed to be following her and yet she couldn't bring herself to stop... Seemed like this would be the resolution and ending of the movie.

The screen faded to black and the credits began to roll, so she sniffled and sat back in her chair. No tears, thank goodness! "Dang," Hilda said as she straightened out her legs and stretched.

"Pretty good eh? I mean, the endin' really wasn't what I was expectin' but it delivered. I give it an 8 outta 10. Would watch again."
no subject
"But yeah, I'd watch it again. Like, not anytime soon, but it was cool."

Offering a thumbs up, Kitty giggled, "Glad ya enjoyed it."
no subject
"How could I not enjoy that? It was like ridin' a roller coaster!" You know, terrifying.

"Hey, we should hang more sometime! I gotta run pretty soon, but this was totally a blast!"
no subject
"Oh uh... s-sure. I guess... I mean, if you wanted to."
no subject
"'Course I wanna! I mean, if I didn't I wouldn't've asked." She stood and put her chair back where she found it. "Where do you usually hang? I woulda been out on the track if it wasn't raining today."
no subject
Where did she hang nowadays? "My room, the roof, the forest or here if there isn't anyone around and shit."
no subject
She made sure she didn't leave a mess behind and waved as she made her way towards the door, "It was a BLAST hangin' with you today!"
no subject
Kitty waved her out dismissibly. "Yeah, uh, thanks.... you too..."
