Hello, it's me again~

How's business, pussycat?

Going very well, thank you for asking. That snafu with the production plant under the church put a bit of a bottleneck on the market, but it's not like that's a bad thing. I've already made plenty from it, so no fur off my back. All the chaos in the city is very entertaining.

Ha ha ha, all the better since everyone's pointing fingers at the school now anyway.

I hope you're just as happy on your end.

Tell you what, since you've been working so hard on this, why not give me the prototypes and let me test them out? I have a few targets in mind.

It's Thursday; Graduation/Prom is still a few weeks off but finals are swiftly approaching the students of Smash Academy. Seth has been a busy bee, if not with unscrupulous activities preparing for said finals, then he has been dutifully making Host Club beautiful. More accurately, him and Voile have worked especially hard on this one to help raise money for those suffering from the drug riots and related violence.

Much like any other Host Club session, AE13 has been transformed into something bright, cheery, and very spring-like. Spring has definitely sprung all over the tables and flowery decor here. Food seems to especially be in surplus this session, with tables lining the borders of the room in a sort of buffet style. It's not just cookies, pastries, fruits, or snacks, but there is an entire table dedicated to those with a sweet tooth. (Most are actually not drugged but if you want to have shenanigans, then by all means go for it.) There are still some items exclusive to a menu that necessitate the need for a host/server. Alternatively, you could tell your host to go get stuff at the buffet for you, that is just as practical.

There's surely something here for everyone... and if not, he'll make it happen. As in, he'll make the servers make it happen.


To get this Host Club kicked off, Seth stands, in all his grandiose attire, and clinks a glass with his fork. "If I could have everyone's attention for a moment, please?" Once he has it, he clears his throat.

"First of all, I'd like to welcome you all to this Host Club. Voile and I worked especially hard on it, so thank you for coming. You should know you're not only supporting our efforts but all generous donations and proceedings will go directly to victims afflicted by these recent strings of cruel violence."

"Did you know it was National Nurse's Week last week? I thought it would only be appropriate then to have this Host Club's theme be that of healing--Healing and appreciation for those who work hard to help others, who don't get enough appreciation for their efforts."

"Like poor Rhys! I swear he'd work himself ragged if he gave himself the chance. He needs our love and support, and, if I may direct your attention to our beautiful, charming hostess Voile," Seth waves his hand in the air and points at her, where a well-choreographed spotlight follows up onto the mini-stage erected in the room. "--really, everyone look, she is absolutely stunning in that dress, give her a big round of applause--She will tell you exactly how you can offer a healing hand."

HOST CLUB:
▷ If you want your character to BE SERVED, just sit them down at any table and start making orders.
▷ If you want your character to SERVE, as in you want to put your character in an embarrassing outfit and serve the people sitting at the tables, go right ahead. There are no OOC sign-ups. This session's Host Club's outfit theme is SEXY NURSE. Take your pick of outfit from conservative and modern to increasingly provocative. If you're a server and can't think of any willing/legit reasons why on earth they would be here in a sexy nurse outfit you can assume Seth more or less forced/tricked/convinced/blackmailed your poor unfortunate character into the act.
▷ ONCE YOU PICK server OR served, your character must to stick with it until this Host Club meeting is done, that is the only rule. No escaping, no sneaking out. Seth will CATCH YOU and make you CLEAN DISHES with a TOOTHBRUSH.

HOST CLUB CONTEST:
▶ If you remember how last year's Student/Faculty Auctions went and how the Pokemon Contests work, this may feel familiar. Your character needs to pay a measly $5 entry fee (which will be a charitable donation to help those involved in drug riot incidents) and then they can enter in any of the contest categories; Coolness, Beauty, Cuteness, Intelligence, and Strength. PERFORM your act of [insert category here] and impress everyone! Get creative, use your Smashing Skills and wow the crowd. If you damage the stage or make a mess, Connor and Flint will probably not be happy with you.
▶ As an audience member, you cast your vote by typing a +1 into your subject title (not unlike the auctions with the dollar amounts). That's it! You can vote as many times as you like, just not for multiple times for the same person in the same category (so no +2's or +3's or +9000's). You can, however, vote for the same person once in each category if they are competing in more than one. You can cast a vote for more than one person per category.
▶ Votes will be tallied up OOCly Thursday or Friday, and we will start a new thread to announce the winner.

Seth, he kind of wasn't expecting this when you said "JUST PAY A FEE THAT WOULD HELP THE PEOPLE AND COME WITH ME".

So here he was. Standing. On the stage. Glaring at wherever Seth was. He was caught with his gear so there is a big, strong, stoic Native American guy with a bow visibly strapped on his back.

This felt. Like a joke.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK, WHO ELSE COULD IT BE? Gordon peers at the stage anyway, as though giving the Connor the benefit of the doubt in that it might just be someone who looks exactly LIKE him.

"The hell are you doing up here?"

Gordon. Stop.

You were making it worse. Connor just wanted to remain quiet and seethe at Seth but now you want him to talk?

Where was the quickest way out of here. He whispered at Gordon, unhappily.

"A man brought me here. I was not informed of this."

"...I see." He murmurs back.

No he doesn't. He doesn't get it at all, but now's not the time for an extended conversation. Why doesn't he just leave the stage if he doesn't want to be up there?

"Who put you up here?"

Hold on a second Gordon. Eirika was talking to him.

Okay then, and that just happened.

...Well what you say now?

Gordon quietly watches the exchange, taking special note of her reaction. Oho. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see why he's up on that stage now...

"Nice shot. As I was saying, was it the proprietor that initially roped you into this?"

He would deny everything.

She is just a friend OKAY. OKAY??

Seriously though he believed he viewed her as a friend and would think that notion would be crazy. Don't ever mention it, GOT THAT.

"That man right there."

Seth. That man.

"He asked for a donation to assist those affected by the drugs..."

Of course. Some things are best left unsaid after all. Gordon glances over his shoulder to note Seth. "Good to know. Speaking of which, help me keep an eye out. I don't like the way that candy and pastry buffet looks."

What, you don't like sweets, dude?

"...Someone might pull something and try to lace it with doped candies."

Oh.

Then there was purpose, finally. Regardless of his votes, like he cared anyway, he stepped down from the stage at that point.

He looked toward the table riddled with food.

"You suspect that the drugs are here?"

She had come to lend her assistance in whatever way she could. That didn't involve being on a stage.

So imagine her surprise to find Connor on it instead.

...What in the name of the Everlasting are you doing?

Wearing half a modest smile, she put her hands together and applauded for him. She wasn't sure what 'cool' meant, but if Connor thought he embodied it, who was she to stop him?

He would be feeling rather complimented if this wasn't already humiliating. But he tried to not show any emotions like that.

He did look at her rather blankly. This was his confused face.

He was... perplexed. Like he had no idea what he was doing.

And Renais' princess was officially amused when he eyed her. So her smile became more warm and welcoming.

"Go on then, Connor," she encouraged him. "Demonstrate for us just how unique you are." Yes. She was going to enjoy this.

Why were you encouraging this? What was the purpose of it?

Connor wasn't mad at her, just WHY THOUGH? She was welcoming it but he...wasn't a performing sort, if you will. The feeling of being tricked into it and shown off to the masses still made him mad.

At Seth. Not anyone else, unless they insulted him for it.

As encouraging as Eirika was, he was unsure of what to do. One part was saying to just leave the stage. And yet, she was here saying he should at least see it through.

Lest he be seen a coward maybe. Him feeling that this was a joke didn't go away, but he gave her a look that suggested "How?" as he shrugged his shoulders.

Lifting her right hand, she drew it over her forehead and refrained from any sort of laughter. If he got the impression she was entertained by him, it probably wouldn't go well. As she looked around, she tried to find something to get an idea for him. Her eyes stopped on some of the hanging decor, and eventually she looked to the opposite side of the room.

Then eying Connor again, she made the motion of drawing her right hand up and back over her shoulder, reaching for an invisible arrow. Then she demonstrated - poorly - the act of shooting said arrow. Provided he had any sort of imagination.

"Shoot something," she mouthed for him. He was the one good with a bow, after all.

Now he got it.

Eirika, so far mostly you, have seen those sides of seriousness and perplexed naivete from Connor. He stood like a confused baby for too long.

You know.

Then perhaps, it wasn't a bad idea. Then maybe perhaps this won't seem too embarrassing. Just needed to do something. Anything. Just so he won't become the laughing stock of the school.

He was watching her movements, he saw the hanging decor on the opposite side.

He could hit that. No problem.

Now getting it, he swiftly took out his arrow.



That hanging decor now has an arrow on it. Bam.

Was that... pride?

Like Connor was one of the knights of Renais, actually. She was... proud of him? She couldn't think of another way to put it. But no sooner had he let an arrow fly had her attention immediately drawn onto it.

Yes. She could live with watching him for a few hours more. Simply to watch. It was pretty incredible.

Looking back to Connor, Eirika gave him a secretive little upturn in her mouth and she applauded once more. Okay. She was impressed. Way to show off.

Mukuro was kinda staring, mainly because of his equipment.

"Is that a... tomahawk? And a bow? The arrows look like they could be poison tipped since they have the right head shape for it."

You're just asking things though. That's not bad. As stumped and frustrated as he was for being here, he could give some answers at least...simple enough right?

"You are correct. On all counts. Though as these arrows could have poison should one wish, they do not currently."

"You carry them in a manner for easy access in the event of an attack, which means that you are proficient in their use."

It's said in the most matter of fact manner. This dude is kinda cool. She gives Connor a small, unguarded, genuine smile.

...Huh. Interesting, you are. He looked like he took interest, genuinely.

"You speak like you know how to handle weaponry quite well."

"Of course, I am a..."

Mukuro stopped herself for a moment. A brief moment, but it was a pause nonetheless. How long has it been since she introduced herself as Mukuro rather than Junko? A long while, but now she was getting slowly more comfortable in being herself. Still awkward and kinda formal, but she's getting there.

"Soldier. Super High School Level Soldier. My name is Mukuro Ikusaba, it is a pleasure to meet you."

A woman...soldier? Not a foreign concept, but where he was from the sort of thing was seen hardly if ever. He knew of women who fought.

Dobby. He knew of Dobby. Myriam.

Strong women practically shunned for not being of "colonial grace". It mattered not to him at all.

But seeing it was a welcome thing. Pleasant in fact.

"Connor."

"Connor..." she repeated the name. She was expecting something a little more exotic, considering his get up but nevermind. That's a thought for another time.

"You don't seem the type to participate in such a contest."
