I'll have a cup of tea and tell you of my dreaming
Who: Everyone
What: DREAMS
When: A whole 24 hours spanning from September 14th-15th
Warnings: Creepy nightmares? Innuendo? I don't know, the usual.
There had been so much buzz about those stupid lollipops for weeks now. Not only out loud, but in her head - thoughts ranging from what's the deal with those things? to gotta have more to pricy as fuck. Eventually, she confused the cravings of others for her own, and it just so happened that her very own roommate had a box right on her side of the room!
Casey wasn't supposed to touch it, but she didn't see why. Money issues, or something. She didn't get the big deal about money either. She wasn't a Meowth, so there was no reason for her to have any. Therefore, the rules about it didn't apply to her.
That was her logic, anyway.
When Ai was asleep, she opened up the box and put her telekinesis to good use. Five of the candies lifted into the air - two green, three yellow - and the wrappers tore off in perfect synchronization. Too bad nobody was watching. The Abra opened her mouth wide and crammed all of them in at once, because she had no concept of savouring anything.
Shortly after, she fell asleep, the sticks still poking out of her mouth. That had to be bad for her teeth.
Soon the dreaming began...

Re: Mac's Dream - Trainwreck except with cars
He steps about, his steps heavy on the well-trodden road, damp from oil spillage and water leaks. He grimaces as he does so. Those shoes are going to need to be washed now...
... Is that a car?
N perks up, making a mad dash for the car to see if anyone is stuck in there. He almost determines that it's fine, that there is no one inside, until he sees what he's sure is a person there. The car is mangled, making it difficult to see who it is, if not impossible, but all he knows is someone needs help.
"Fear not, brave human; I will save you!"
He rushes in, grabbing the door and trying to yank it loose. It's jammed up really badly, making it tough to pry whoever this is out of there.
no subject
Mac scrambled in the back seat, that tight and small back seat. He really wishes he could get out, this was the second person he saw in here that was unusual and unnatural. This place was a lonely one after all.
Mac pressed his hands on the window. His face at least should be a little visible. He was at least able to see who it was that was out there.
N. N! It was N!
Oh my god, what was he doing here?? Seeing him like this? Weak and his life in danger AGAIN? Mac banged on the window, one of the things that wouldn't budge either.
He started screaming too, it was a little muffled but N might be able to make out, "N! N!!!"
no subject
That familiarity sent his adrenaline into overdrive. Both of their emotions were at such a high that he swore he saw the dream warp around him, flames swirling unnaturally and buildings melting. In that moment, he was driven to grabbing the car and attempting to lift it, as if the dream was making him do so...
... and he did, leaving a mangled back seat with one (1) boxer nestled in it, remaining on the ground while the rest of the car went with him.
Holy shit.
N was lifting a car in his two hands. High.
Only in dream reality.
no subject
Mac sat there dumbfounded. The smoke was gone and now he was sitting in this depressing atmosphere.
He was blank for a moment, he can't register this yet. He looked at N.
Yeah, he didn't know.
But he was sure N saved his shit and N was his best friend so it was okay to hug him tight. He felt weak, looked weak...but in that moment he was scared. This nightmare was a sign of his greatest weaknesses. His pain and fear, and his trauma. He was glad it was N of all people who helped him. Was he really here?
no subject
He did all he knew to do. He threw it away, watching as it practically dissipated into the smoggy, polluted skies. This was special, to be sure, but right now, his mind was on his friend. He was terrified for him.
"Mac..."
He tossed his arms around him, pulling him in tightly and squeezing his eyes shut. His hands dug into his top, his arms clearly shaking from what had just transpired.
"Are you alright...?"
no subject
Mac said with a shaky voice. He was so grateful he was here, maybe this was a message in his dream. He was. Sure this was a dream. Well it was, but.
N saved him from his problems and made him feel like he wasn't alone. He didn't want to be alone and made to deal with his pain alone anymore...
Mac squeezed his eyes tight as well. But he did open them after a minute to just see the smoldering car that was his tormenting prison. It was engulfed in flames, and soon it was ash.
He's not asking about the car lifting. Maybe, maybe never.
no subject
"We must leave," he told him, persistent on getting out of dodge. "Remaining here is unsafe." He wanted so much to keep looking for people, but he just wanted to get Mac out of here first. He was not leaving him in a smoky, torn landscape with no hope for redemption. This wasn't right.
no subject
"Mmhm, where are we goin' then? Where could we be safe from all of this?"
no subject
N froze, his heart leaping as he realized that he didn't know how he exactly got here. He recalled just stepping through some doorway in this odd 'casino' area, and from there, he wound up here somehow. He didn't know where he wound up either! It was just in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of the city, really.
"I am not... sure."
Welp.
no subject
Ehhhh?
Mac was stunned from the shock. He's had this dream before, but no doors that looked grossly out of place appeared. Seriously, it was a pretty pink door in this whole apocalyptic nonsense.
After a moment of staring at it, Mac pointed that way.
"Uh, how 'bout there. Can't go to much worse than here, eh?"
no subject
That door was... very pink and very glittery. Yes, that was definitely overdoing it. That was a lot of pink, especially when it stood out so blatantly from the rest of the atmosphere.
N's mouth hung low, eyes wide.
"I... suppose not. Shall we?"
He stepped forward, beginning to dread what might be behind these doors.
no subject
Into their weird adventure.
Yay.
Mac actually opens the door...
no subject
"Rutsa goooooooeeeeeeee."
...
N almost wanted to turn back.
Almost.
no subject
CLOSED THE DOOR
Then he turned to N.
"Okay. What's happenin'?"
Finally, he asked.
no subject
N stopped him, pushing the door open again, the voice ringing up with the same exclaimed phrase all over again.
"It seems relatively harmless. Perhaps we could take this route to somewhere safer."
"No quesh-tyon."
... Who said that.
no subject
He says this as one of the "kart racers" falls through the landscape in some sort of glitch.
Yeah no, N, let's close the door.
no subject
... Yeah, never mind.
N closes that door.
"On second thought, I... may have come here a little ways away. Let's check the western part of town."
That sounds like a far safer idea.
no subject
Anywhere but there. He can't handle anything else that didn't make sense.
THEY GO WEST.
Then there was a SKY BLUE door.
Look at all these colors we are seeing today.
no subject
He takes the bold step for them both, grabbing the door and flinging it open.
Well, this place looks a bit odd, but it still seems relatively harmless.
"This should do splendidly," he speaks, a sigh escaping him. Relief washes over him as he sees this place as being the opposite of weird.
... Well, sans those giant eggs.
no subject
Mac moved over here in the sight of a green door.
Which he was curious and looked in.
It was a bad idea.
Mac is catatonic.
no subject
...
Is that not your coach?"
Oh
my
god.
Those soulless, black eyes...
N is absolutely horrified right now.
no subject
Look at Mac, look at him. He is BLANK. BLANK FACED.
no subject
Just... waving his hand in front of Mac's face right now.
... Yeah. This is worrying.
"Mac? Are you alright...?"
no subject
That took a couple seconds. He turned to look at him. Also.
CLOSED THE DOOR.
"N...I really wanna find out what's goin' on. None of this feels right."
That's because nothing was right, N had to save you from a burning car wreck by becoming Hercules. And doors. So many doors.
no subject
N stepped forward, heading into the one door he kept open, the one leading into a relatively normal field. Everything seemed to go well as he stepped about... until he approached the giant eggs.
Well, that's not right at all.
what is even happening anymore
i don't... know...
