I'll have a cup of tea and tell you of my dreaming
Who: Everyone
What: DREAMS
When: A whole 24 hours spanning from September 14th-15th
Warnings: Creepy nightmares? Innuendo? I don't know, the usual.
There had been so much buzz about those stupid lollipops for weeks now. Not only out loud, but in her head - thoughts ranging from what's the deal with those things? to gotta have more to pricy as fuck. Eventually, she confused the cravings of others for her own, and it just so happened that her very own roommate had a box right on her side of the room!
Casey wasn't supposed to touch it, but she didn't see why. Money issues, or something. She didn't get the big deal about money either. She wasn't a Meowth, so there was no reason for her to have any. Therefore, the rules about it didn't apply to her.
That was her logic, anyway.
When Ai was asleep, she opened up the box and put her telekinesis to good use. Five of the candies lifted into the air - two green, three yellow - and the wrappers tore off in perfect synchronization. Too bad nobody was watching. The Abra opened her mouth wide and crammed all of them in at once, because she had no concept of savouring anything.
Shortly after, she fell asleep, the sticks still poking out of her mouth. That had to be bad for her teeth.
Soon the dreaming began...

"Mmhm, where are we goin' then? Where could we be safe from all of this?"
no subject
N froze, his heart leaping as he realized that he didn't know how he exactly got here. He recalled just stepping through some doorway in this odd 'casino' area, and from there, he wound up here somehow. He didn't know where he wound up either! It was just in the middle of nowhere on the outskirts of the city, really.
"I am not... sure."
Welp.
no subject
Ehhhh?
Mac was stunned from the shock. He's had this dream before, but no doors that looked grossly out of place appeared. Seriously, it was a pretty pink door in this whole apocalyptic nonsense.
After a moment of staring at it, Mac pointed that way.
"Uh, how 'bout there. Can't go to much worse than here, eh?"
no subject
That door was... very pink and very glittery. Yes, that was definitely overdoing it. That was a lot of pink, especially when it stood out so blatantly from the rest of the atmosphere.
N's mouth hung low, eyes wide.
"I... suppose not. Shall we?"
He stepped forward, beginning to dread what might be behind these doors.
no subject
Into their weird adventure.
Yay.
Mac actually opens the door...
no subject
"Rutsa goooooooeeeeeeee."
...
N almost wanted to turn back.
Almost.
no subject
CLOSED THE DOOR
Then he turned to N.
"Okay. What's happenin'?"
Finally, he asked.
no subject
N stopped him, pushing the door open again, the voice ringing up with the same exclaimed phrase all over again.
"It seems relatively harmless. Perhaps we could take this route to somewhere safer."
"No quesh-tyon."
... Who said that.
no subject
He says this as one of the "kart racers" falls through the landscape in some sort of glitch.
Yeah no, N, let's close the door.
no subject
... Yeah, never mind.
N closes that door.
"On second thought, I... may have come here a little ways away. Let's check the western part of town."
That sounds like a far safer idea.
no subject
Anywhere but there. He can't handle anything else that didn't make sense.
THEY GO WEST.
Then there was a SKY BLUE door.
Look at all these colors we are seeing today.
no subject
He takes the bold step for them both, grabbing the door and flinging it open.
Well, this place looks a bit odd, but it still seems relatively harmless.
"This should do splendidly," he speaks, a sigh escaping him. Relief washes over him as he sees this place as being the opposite of weird.
... Well, sans those giant eggs.
no subject
Mac moved over here in the sight of a green door.
Which he was curious and looked in.
It was a bad idea.
Mac is catatonic.
no subject
...
Is that not your coach?"
Oh
my
god.
Those soulless, black eyes...
N is absolutely horrified right now.
no subject
Look at Mac, look at him. He is BLANK. BLANK FACED.
no subject
Just... waving his hand in front of Mac's face right now.
... Yeah. This is worrying.
"Mac? Are you alright...?"
no subject
That took a couple seconds. He turned to look at him. Also.
CLOSED THE DOOR.
"N...I really wanna find out what's goin' on. None of this feels right."
That's because nothing was right, N had to save you from a burning car wreck by becoming Hercules. And doors. So many doors.
no subject
N stepped forward, heading into the one door he kept open, the one leading into a relatively normal field. Everything seemed to go well as he stepped about... until he approached the giant eggs.
Well, that's not right at all.
what is even happening anymore
"Uh..."
i don't... know...
N paused, eyes scanning the area around them - oh look, cubes, oh look, an arcade game - before he came to a confession.
"I have to admit that it is quite catchy."
So much to do, so much to see.
bipping tralls
"So much to do, so much to see..."
OH...OH GREAT. FANTASTIC.
"W-well, it's a real earworm, I'll admit."
Re: bipping tralls
N gazes off into the distance. The very, very eggy distance.
"Ah," but then he snaps out of it, shaking his head and adding, "this will not grant us escape either. Perhaps it is best that we go elsewhere..."
Will that black and white door be the lucky one?!
oops going back to meaningful deep shit
ANOTHER door? Huuurgh...well maybe. Maybe a fifth...thousand time was a charm? Man, whenever this was over. Mac was doing something fun. N was invited. But something fun and not. So mentally damaging. Mac walked through the eggs and went beside N for yet another door encounter.
"Okay, I'll open it. Brace yourself for anythin' else weird. Okay...here I-"
He opens it. They are...in a smallish house. The walls looked rather old and tattered with old floral patterns. The house itself looked old but it felt...homey? Like for a small single family. They were currently in what looked like the hallway. A small scent of lavender was in the air. Mac grew quiet again.
FUN TIMES
For a young man who grew up in a large, spacious castle, this is far more of a paradise than any palace could hope to be.
He raises a tender hand to the peeling wallpaper, a humble smile lacing his features, soft as snow.
"How quaint. This is a far more appealing atmosphere."
It's so comforting. It makes him want to take a warm bath and a nap after a cup of darjeeling tea.
OH YEAH
"I know this place," Mas said as he turned to N. He looked as if this place rung something inside, he looked umcomfortable to say the least.
"...It's the house I grew up in."
