Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

Except not really because that is definitely the ground right there and becoming a smear on the pavement is not a good way to cheer up at all. Out go the wings, and they pulled up into a swoop, hurtling a few feet above the ground at way too many kilometres an hour.

Before long, of course, they'd killed enough momentum for Char to pull into a landing, touching down nice and securely on good old terra firma.]

[Bulba stayed firmly cemented to Char's back for the time being, trying to remember what it was like existing with a resting heart rate. He took big gulps of air, releasing them in shaky laughs against Char's neck.]

Ha.. haha... w-well its definitely a lot better when you can actually fly instead of floating everywhere.

[If he were flexible enough, he just might have painted a stripe of dargon slobber right between Bulba's ears. Because dragon tongue all in your face is a great calm-down method. Alas, his neck is not rubber, so he just had to settle for a grin. Stay up there if you want, Bulba, piggybacks are just as acceptable as aerial dargonrides.]

Ha. Fair enough, kid. Feel like comin' along next time I decide to try a new trick out?

[Don't worry, Bulba, he's teasing, you are safe from tagging along on flaming loop-de-loops or whatever.]

[If Char wasn't going to ask him to get off yet, then Bulba was just going to roll with this. The vine seat belt wasn't a necessity anymore, so he gingerly pulled those back. He stuck his tongue out at him a little bit.]

[Bulba frowned for just a moment, looking doubtful about that statement. But he held his tongue and turned his attention to the variety of frozen goods.]

Just the peach popsicle, please.

[Are peach popsicles a real thing THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING I KNEW. Anyway it is common knowledge that Purple Flavour is always the best flavour, so Char goes ahead and orders a nice grapey popsicle to forever clash with his color scheme, pays, and they are good to go.]

Shit, these things always start meltin' the second you get 'em.

Well it is getting warmer out.

[Yeah that is totally the reason. Bulba stuck the popsicle in his mouth and gave a quick shiver.]

... I wonder why frozen treats are always the go-to thing. [He says as he continues to enjoy his frozen treat.]

Variety, I guess. I dunno about you, but I'm not usually eatin' too many cold things unless I decide to hunt a Cryogonal for some reason.

Just going to wing a guess here but I think these might taste better than a Cryogonal.

Never actually tried one, but I can only imagine them tastin' like water. ...Or mouthwash.

[oh whoop dangit Char you're getting purple drips on your hand. Let's pay a little more attention to that popsicle.]

[Bulba wrinkled his nose. Mouth wash was not a good snack.] Gross.

[He continued to make slow work of his popsicle with tiny nibbles, trying to avoid brain freeze as much as possible.]

[Uh wait a second let him try that again without frozen peaches in his mouth.]

Oop. It's going to slip off.

[These things turn into puddles in no time anyway. Char's just gonna shove the whole thing in his mouth. Biting ice pops may possibly be the worst thing, but it beats dropping it all over yourself.]

[Char received a round of applause for his efforts because man that was a thing Bulba was extremely hesitant to consider.]
