Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

[Crap, he already made himself known and the other recognized him. Since he was already in the "over-thinking everything" mode, he wasn't sure if he should just walk by without saying anything, as tempting as it was. The conflict of ~*~real and fake emotions~*~ makes him stand there awkwardly for a little while, making it even harder for him to just pass by.

And more awkward silence.]

[It seemed almost like an eternity before the Empoleon finally gather enough courage to get up from the bush. Through the time, it could almost be said that he looked even more worse than he already had, it didn't help from all those twigs and leaves stuck in his hair.]

[Dammit, why didn't he just leave, why didn't he just ignore the stupid penguin and walk off, he wouldn't have to deal with all the conflicting thoughts.

Instead he looked off to the side, not exactly able to look at Empo in the eye, as he made a grunt in response.

...Why wasn't he walking away already? Alex stuffed his hands into his pockets instead.]

[Empo stare at the other and awkwardly scratched the back of his head. It seemed like several minutes and a few fake coughs before he managed to speak up.]

So.... how are you? [It's a start...?]

[So much awkward. Alex on the other hand, didn't exactly move much.

How was he feeling? Honestly, he didn't know how to answer that. But he wasn't going to admit that to the other. But with the thoughts messing up with his thought process, he really wasn't sure what he should or even wanted to say.]

Eh. [All he could give was a shrug. Now that he said something, maybe it was time to go. Yes.]

Have stuff to do. See ya. [And then he starts walking past Empo.]

[He was leaving again, not running like the Mistletoe incident but it still feel very much evident that the other didn't want to be around Empo. ]

[It was weird, his mouth just slipped out of his own. At least. If he was given a chance right now, he was going to take it, no matter what.]

[SHIT and DAMN, Alex was hoping Empo wouldn't say anything this time. He freezes in place with a jerk, but doesn't turn around.]

[He just wanted to get away so he wouldn't be in such a mess inside his head, and being near Empo wasn't going to help with that.]

[Even if the other didn't turned around and tried to look him in the eye, he couldn't even find any courage to look anywhere but the ground. He made it this far, he had to at least try.]

[Alex stays still for a while. A mix of confusion and irritation from hearing the other's words started filling up, and the confusion only added to the irritation more.]

[Can you hear the irritation in his voice? He didn't mean it to slip out, but it was better than exploding again.]

[He was visibly shaken from the hint of irritation in Alex voice, but he got this far to admit it, it was now or never.]

You heard me. [Another sigh, his voice was more quiet after the following;] if I didn't do that stupid 'joke' none of this would happened.

Because I... [Empo's voice died, quite unsure whether or not to admit things, and wreck everything further.]

Would ya drop with the joke shit? I don't care about it anymore. [A heavy sigh and he finally turns to look at the other straight in the eye.]

Ya think we can just not talk to each other anymore? Talkin' to ya ain't helping.

[...At least on his side. Just seeing the other around was making it so confusing. Not that he was going to admit that... If only he would, then things would end on a happier note He didn't really hear the end part of what Empo said, though; it was a little too quiet for Alex's ears to pick up.]

[Alex kind of stood there for a while. If his expression showed anything, it probably showed how blank his mind was. It was blank for a while until a mix of emotions started filling up.

Anger, frustration, lost, but for some reason there was also a feeling of relief, which also made confusion come about as well.

In the end he could only give a troubled look at the other for a brief moment...]

[Another sigh, for all he could do, he should have just move along this point and go back to avoiding the Legendary, but Empo can't seem to find a way to stop. Everything he hold in regarding Alex just seems to have tipped over and spilled everywhere.]

I-it is, yeah. But honestly, I really, sincerely love you. I really tried to ignore it, but somehow... It just kept worst until I just find myself being pretty, well, fucking messed up for quite sometime.

[Hearing those words coming from Empo was starting to make Alex feel very flustered. And annoyed.]

[Because for all he knew, Alex needed to still deal with his own confusing emotions himself. And it sure didn't help sorting them out while talking to the source of the problems.]
