What time is it? DORM LOG TIME.

Who: [livejournal.com profile] sumabura_gakuen
What: Dorm hijinks and etc. Whatever you want.
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Do what you need! ✩
When: April 30 - May 15
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one: Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like.

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Harrass your least favorite teacher by throwing oranges at their window! Play your favorite survival horror game at night while subjecting your squeamish friends to your dark tastes! Get into a squabble with your next door neighbors about unappreciated late-hour rackets! Confess your love to the girl of your dreams after class is over! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Show this log no mercy.

[Yeah Liquid is totally not here.]

Or eliminate it. The destruction of a thing is a power of its own.

[Wolf tucked an errant strand of green hair behind her ear as she watched Samus. It was only fair to allow the sniper to ask a few questions of her own now.]

Why such an interest? Surely the Metal Gears are nothing compared to the technology of the stars.

No. [A pause. This is less of a conversation as it is an exchange of information. You get what you give, though Samus is carefully considering her words.] Walking nukes would be considered archaic what-were-you-thinking technology where I'm from... but this isn't space, and the power of Metal Gear is something I have experience with. [Samus would regale Wolf with tales of how she totally blew out REX's legs two years ago during the Aparoid War all by herself and then went for a joyride in it that summer... but that is better left to memory. It's not something to be underestimated in her book.]

As is the hypocrisy and misuse that comes with such power. [It is a cold statement, as if her relations to the weapon carry very personal undertones.]

ImageAran, you speak like a Metal Gear resides here, ready to threaten this city.

[Wolf smiled with an air of knowingness about her. This was a game, of sorts - where the winner had to obtain the most information while still keeping their most secret cards close to their chest - and that smile was something of a chiding. After all, REX's presence in FDC wasn't something that Wolf, or anyone really, was supposed to know. Was this something you were prepared to reveal, Samus?]

But surely there must be power enough here in the school to rival it. After all, there are humans with magic, students with powers like the jinn, and minds capable of creating things beyond even the Metal Gear.

What would you do if faced with one?

[Indeed, a game. There was the thrill of a hunt; be it a physical body or information to something more. One Samus would likely be as daring with as she was with any other challenge presented to her. She knew an awful lot, and she kept her stare fixed on the other woman as if she were another red and white target.]

You have before, haven't you?
