What time is it? DORM LOG TIME.

Who: [livejournal.com profile] sumabura_gakuen
What: Dorm hijinks and etc. Whatever you want.
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond. Do what you need! ✩
When: April 30 - May 15
Warnings: I wrote 'hijinks'. That should explain everything.

Ripped off the last one: Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like.

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Harrass your least favorite teacher by throwing oranges at their window! Play your favorite survival horror game at night while subjecting your squeamish friends to your dark tastes! Get into a squabble with your next door neighbors about unappreciated late-hour rackets! Confess your love to the girl of your dreams after class is over! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Show this log no mercy.

Even if Blacky hadn't already eaten most of the sugar, Brock was a little wary of taking what was left. What if she'd been using the same spoon every time. That was just unsanitary.

"I can always, um. Go to the store."

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-03 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, no, that won't be necessary. I'm certain there was another bag here..."

Blacky had been exploring the kitchen a lot over the past several days, and was close to having all the cupboards memorized - at least the important ones. The baking goods pantry was among these. She opened the door to peek inside and then promptly closed it again.

"I was right. Perhaps an arrangement could be made for it."

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-03 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, great." That was good. He wouldn't have to go to the store and he wouldn't have to use the sugar Blacky had been eating out of and getting ghost germs all over. It was going to be a win-win for everybody!

Or maybe not. He raised an eyebrow and tried to peer past her into the cabinets (despite being like...across the kitchen from them).

"An arrangement?"

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-03 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes. Your shorts for my sugar."

Blacky, that's not even yours.

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 03:04 am (UTC)(link)
Brock was a bit too taken aback by the request to debate the logical fallacies of this arrangement. He did, however, remember something else.

"Leon said he...ordered you a pair."

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
"He did?! He should have told me-- wait." GASP. "I hope that wasn't meant to be a surprise. I suppose I could still act as though I didn't know..."

She put her ramblings on hold long enough to retrieve the sugar from the cupboard, but she held it instead of giving it to Brock. What a shame she couldn't get something out of this... or could she.

"What are you going to cook?"

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
OH NO did he ruin the surprise? Well, it was too late now. He would have to maybe apologize to Leon sometime in the near future or maybe... "Maybe just. Act surprised." That would most certainly fix everything.

Brock found it in himself to leave the doorway and walk towards Blacky, reaching out for the bag of sugar.

"I was just making some cookies."

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah Blacky could totally act surprised. She was the acting master. Or... Maybe she was at some point and all she had to do was reawaken that ability. WHATEVER.

She kept a firm grip on the bag! "May I have some?"

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't see why not." He said, shrugging and keeping his eyes on the bag of sugar, as if Blacky was going to change her mind and eat all of it right then and there.

"Do you like chocolate chip? You could help me make them, if you want."

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
"I seem to be more adept at being in the way than at actually cooking, but I do enjoy chocolate chips." Wait a minute. She looked guiltily to an open bag on the counter not too far from the jar of sugar she'd been helping herself to.

"...Err. I may have eaten too many of those as well..." There were still plenty left, but she had no idea how many cookies needed.

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-06 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
"That's okay." He'd only come down for the sugar, after all. "I have some chocolate chips in my room."

Brock was more than willing to teach others the ways of the baked goods. "I could teach you. It's not hard."

[identity profile] miss-dreavus.livejournal.com 2011-05-06 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
"Hopefully I'll be slightly less trouble for you than I was for Bulba." She snuck one chip from the bag on the counter and popped it into her mouth. "Let's go!"

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2011-05-10 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm patient." He said, laughing sheepishly. Erika couldn't bake to save her life, after all.

Brock led her from the cafeteria, across the quad to the teacher's dorms, where he inserted the key into the lock of TD-34. "Here we are." He placed the bag of chips next to the sink and invited her into the kitchen.
