Remembuh me? The roomie log turned out to be a success, and a lot of really awesome interactions took place. Because of this, I've decided it was about time to post round two. The name has been changed a little because I think it reflects the premise slightly better.

Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like. Some examples can be seen in the link I provided if you fight through the buttload of comments in case I'm sort of unclear.

So how do we start? It's up to you, really. Don't have any plans with anyone else but want your character bugged? Start a thread. It helps to staple dates and times, but you can keep that completely ambiguous if you really don't care/it doesn't matter. So disembark and wreak havoc amongst yourselves! Set up karaoke and sing loudly to further improve relations with dorm neighbors! Jack cylindrical fluorescent light bulbs from the supply closet and fight like Jedi Masters! Build couch forts with other people's laundry! (...ew?) Hold a "study session" with that special someone of yours! Harass teachers and students alike with your inane questions! What bountiful possibilities await you.

Was this another ghost student? Man, they were really hung up about her living in this dorm. Ashley, however, would not be moved, and just kept right on dumping all kinds of horrible-looking things into her cauldron.

"Is there a problem?"

Izzy's only issue with someone living in this particular dorm was that she was used to the door always being closed, and could count on it as an indication of how many doors she had to go for her own. Having a sudden open gap with crazy bubbling sounds kind of threw her off a bit. She went from flaring her nostrils as she took in a big whiff of whatever the heck (it brought to mind burning dungarees for whatever reason) to looking in the apparent owner's direction.

"Double double, toil and trouble?"

Burning dungarees was an improvement over bubble gum, at least for Ashley. Sinister potions weren't supposed to smell like bubblegum.

"You could call it that."

She rubbed her hand over her nose.

"What else could I call it?"

"It's a potion."

What kind of potion, however, was a mystery.

Oh man this chick was sounding more and more witchy by the moment.

"What're ya gonna do with it?"

She pondered that for a moment. "I'm not sure yet. If it works, I'll bottle it and save it for later."

"I see." No you don't. "What's the desire outcome then?"

Mmmmm, big whiff of dungarees on fire.

"It's a simple hair-growth potion. But I'm worried it might be too strong."

"Oooh."

Izzy supposed there was really only one way to test if a hair-growth potion.

"Not it."

Fair enough. Ashley would just dump it on somebody later. In the meantime, she had no idea who this strange girl was.

"Are you a ghost?"

"Nah, not yet. 'm just a bat."

"You don't look like a bat."

"Yeah? I get that a lot, but I don't even know what a bat looks like."

BUT THEN.

Ah, so it was more of the strange transformation stuff. This girl must be a Pokemon. A blind Pokemon, with no eyes.

She recalled that Amp used a bracelet. "How do you switch between forms? Do you have an item?"

Oh, what, she was just about to land on her hair. Fiiine. She fluttered back to where she was and did the magical song and dance of poofing back into a scrawny human girl, scratching at the side of her nose.

"Uh. I think about it. Used to use one of those rings you can get from the city, but dad set me straight so I just gotta think about it."

"Oh." She tapped her chin with her finger. So perhaps these Pokemon didn't need items to transform after all.

"I met a girl who used a bracelet."

Izzy shrugged.

"Not too surprising. There's probably a lotta folks that do. There's a TM for it too, but that's only for Pokemon. I know at one point they had some sort of meat stuff that you could eat but I think that got recalled for spoiling too quickly a few years back."

What. Whaaaaaaaat. This was crazy. This was crazy talk you crazy bat person.

"And the school..distributes these things."

Hey it all made perfect sense to her, ok.

"Uhhhhh... The TM, I think, if people want it. Maybe some items..? Dunno, I got my stuff a long time ago. You can get 'em in town and stuff."

Ashley was going to find them. She was going to find them and perform experiments on Red, whether he liked it or not.

It was going to be so great.

"And they have products for other creatures. That aren't Pokemon."

"Ayup. That bracelet was probably just some generic thing for anybody. FDC has a lot of freaky people around."

Now she was going to wander around and poke your stuff with startling amounts of accuracy.

"No. I tried it on Red and it didn't work." It was said with a hint of a pout.

"Red?"

"Yes." Oh. Maybe she knew the other Red. Big Red. As if on cue, Ashley's little imp friend emerged from under the bed.

"This is Red."
