Armed Weaponry - Thermal gunfight

Warnings: Cheeseburger guns and shenanigans

[[AGAIN this class has totally been taught in spirit this whole time and this particular class is backdated to Tuesday. And I am still the hugest derp.]]

*TODAY. Armed Weaponry will be taking place OUTSIDE in the snow, yes. There is a large note written on Miss Aran's chalkboard stating this for super special for students who did not hear her announce this the last dozen or so times last class, or are stragglers running late and didn't get the memo. Once enough students have filtered into the school's large, open, white-covered courtyard Samus will start her lecture.*

Today we will be revisiting the Super Scope, an item I hope you are all more than familiar with by now and learning how to use your surrounding environment to your advantage.



Here, *as Samus rips off the cover to a large table she had dragged out here earlier, on said table containing a multitude of SUPER SCOPES* you will find Super Scopes modified with a thermal scope instead of a normal scope. This will allow you to see extreme temperature differences, making it easier to detect your opponent in cold settings.



Today will be a simple class. No teams, no capture the flag, just a free-for-all. Utilize your thermal scopes to find opponents. Utilize your environment to avoid detection. The Super Scope itself will generate heat when it is fired, so keep this in mind.

Also keep in mind, *as Samus picks up a Super Scope for herself* I will be playing along with you.


[[The gun itself will record the number of times you are hit and/or successfully hit someone else and will not fire should you try to leave the courtyard with it. Other teachers and non-Armed Weaponry Students are more than welcome to stumble into the courtyard and play too. ♥ ]]

Is it fatal, if not how much does it hurt, where's the damn trigger at, and if someone gets too close to me can I punch em' in the face? It seemed as though someone had not paid attention in one of her earlier classes (http://community.livejournal.com/sbg_logs/347816.html). "No, not fatal though a fully charged shot may knock you down. The trigger is on top of the gun just under the scope and if I say yes to your last question that means I will also therefore give permission to anyone else to do the same."

Super serious stare. "Also the gun will not record punches, so they would not technically count as hits."

For some reason, Nester loooooved Super Scopes. They reminded him of PES Zappers and Great Gunshooters on the PES and SPES, but like... they were different and actual weapons!

Thus, he asked a question.

"Do we get to keep them after class?!" If not, he wanted to see if he could find connections through his flight club to obtain one. Somehow. Maybe.

Maybe he thought it was going to be as easy as biomech was.

Well, maybe he could alter the superscope to do something useful. For world peace! Or hamburgers.

Max stood in the cold, trying to hide but really, come on. Max is too big to hide conventionally and added to that, with the thermal scopes? Max is a giant radiant mass of muscular heat.

Also added to this is the fact that it is physically impossible for Max to shoot anybody more than 20 feet away.

He's the definition of a sitting goose. Have at him.

Apple Kid has his super scope and his thermoscope and hey that super scope looks a little off somehow. It's hard to place what it is, but it might be the gum wrappers, yarn, and bark that's strapped to the side.

I wonder what that does.

Oh well, he's short but really wide, you could probably shoot him easily.

As it turns out, thermal scopes make it very easy to see hot things. Fire is a very hot thing. Char's tail was on fire.
