Bluesneaker
Who: Sonic the Hedgehog [
bluestreaker ] & you there on the horizon
What: Sonic's acting suspicious.
Where: General campus area and woods
When: At sunset on October 17 and every sunset onward.
Other: Action tags or prose welcomed.
It was to say that it wasn't without immense difficulty that Sonic could act as normal. Eggman had really turned his world on its head and the end result was someone he cared for being caught in the crossfire. He had suspected, however, that it might've been Eggman's intention all along. Not that it made it any better.
Seeing as he felt he had little choice, every evening when the sun began to set, Sonic would leave the dorms. He'd never say anything and he'd never be around the buildings after the sunlight had distanced itself from the academy. If anyone had been paying attention or attempted to interact with him, his cheery nature seemed forced. If anything, he looked exhausted and worn, beaten into submission by something within the back of his mind. Not that you'd exactly know it, but perhaps the more perceptive would find it worrisome when he'd stop smiling as soon as he was finished talking and take off in the same heartbeat.
Out the dorms and into the depths of the woods. This was his new routine. And, he could tell ya, he wasn't particularly enjoying sleeping in the woods every night since he found himself injected with this Werehog disease all over again. All that mattered was staying away from everyone until he knew how to combat Eggman's overpowering whistle.
Whenever that would be.
[ooc: So once the sun goes down, Sonic turns into this guy. Depending on when you bump into him, you might catch him as hedgehog and watch him transform or just start with the fluffers.]

sunset, the 20th.
It was not Eggman's whistle, at least. It was of a bird combating something, someone that had traveled onto its turf. It didn't seem like the little tweeter had noticed Sonic's presence, but it did manage to sight a very certain black hedgehog, one who was shuffling about in search of those lollipops. Shadow had received an anonymous eye-witness account about some being dumped into the forest, and whether or not it was true, he had to check things out.
As he sniffed about and sought for a small amount of them, however... nothing.
"Hn." He swatted at the bird trying to dive-bomb him, treating it nonchalantly as he stepped through the brush, snapping twigs beneath his shoes. His presence was hard not to notice, so for someone with keen senses, such as a certain werehog, he was not going to be tough to spot.

Well, he wasn't entirely sure what Shadow thought of him as anymore. Sonic certainly understood him to be a friend, but he'd been one hell of a jerkass lately. So who was to really say?
Ugh, I've been out here too long. Gettin' way too pessimistic.
Anyway, the bird Shadow was treating rather rudely didn't deserve that. It reminded him of the Chao, which ticked him off on an entirely other level, but he abandoned it to go jumping into the bird's home tree.
And he wasn't very quiet about it either.

Shadow jumped at the very sound, whirling to face the source of the noise, that tree. In the meanwhile, that little bird was heading in Sonic's direction, not too keen on what it had heard either.
What he saw, however, was not quite what he was expecting.
All he could notice was a ball of deep, navy blue fluff.
A creature he didn't know. That was quick to put him on edge, ready to defend himself should this thing be hostile. It probably was, given the way he was hopping about trees, likely to hunt for a bite to eat before sleeping. That, or the creature was nocturnal and was getting its breakfast.
Either way, it made sense, and it was very possible that it wanted Shadow as its dinner. He was not about to have that.
"Who goes there?"
no subject
Sonic parked his fuzzy rump right on the branch, knowing Shadow's behavior was going to land them in a fight.
"Friend of the bird."
no subject
"Well," he began with a bit of a scoff, "your little friend thinks I am going to cause her harm, when..."
A pause after he trailed off, and then...
"Have you seen any candies here?" It didn't seem like this one was drugged, so probably not, but he was going to try anyway. No harm in that.

But being it was autumn, the days were short and the nights dreadfully long. It was a mild comfort in an intense storm.
Sonic carefully escorted the bird with his finger back to the branch, then took a leap down to level with Shadow. He fell within a few feet of him, the impact sweeping leaves across the other's toes. Sonic remained with an easy demeanor, though, for as long as Shadow would keep his place.
"Can't say I've seen any of those suckers here," he reported, crossing his arms to his chest.

"In any case, what are you?"
Something about this thing... It felt familiar, but he couldn't pinpoint how. Maybe he was a student that he'd briefly encountered and forgotten about. Some of the presences in this academy are easy to shelve and never think about again, after all. He wouldn't be surprised if this was just someone he couldn't recall.
If that was true, however, why was he out here?

the 22nd
She hadn't ventured out this far from the academy before, how she got here to the outskirts of the woods she didn't know. Likely a result of her being lost in her own thoughts. It took her finally coming back to reality to realize that she was nowhere familiar.
"Oh no..." Noel sighed softly. Finding her way back was going to be quite the task. You have to remain calm, she told herself. With any luck maybe she can find someone to help her find the way back. But with the sky above her beginning to grow darker with time, she feared what surprises the unfamiliar territory would have in store for her.

Sonic wouldn't call himself a surprise, but considering he was decorated in sheets of fur, he could be wrong about that. He was keeping to a branch high above Noel's head, the girl's blonde hair sticking out in the darkness of the terrain. He wasn't sure if he should approach her, but she had a concerned expression, so maybe he could.
He took a jump off the branch and landed behind her. Being a tad heavier and larger, it wasn't exactly done soundlessly, especially with the fallen leaves crunching beneath the spikes on his sneakers. He paused to let the noise ring out, then twisted toward Noel nervously. NO GUNS, PLEASE.
Unlikely, rightno subject
That's when Sonic landed behind Noel and she screamed.
"AAAAHHH!"
What was going on here? Was someone behind her? Was it a monster?? A ghost?? Was someone going to attack her? Oh no, oh no, oh no.
"W-w-who's there?"
As much as she didn't want to look at this possible assailant, she turned her body, tears beginning to well up in her eyes due to the sheer terror she was feeling.
"W-what do you want? W-who are you?!" She was too scared right now to even consider that this was anyone she knew.

Sonic hated this part. He was beginning to think Noel was going to wind up seeing him as everything but a hedgehog with every chance meeting they had. In general, he disliked being out of his body, so that added much to his annoyance.
"It's cool, Noel! It's me... Er, again. I mean --" He had to speak quick before she went at him guns blazing again. "Sonic!" He barked, voice rugged and hoarse, a snarl brewing beneath every word. Boomed like a damn shotgun when he tried, really.
no subject
But after a moment, Sonic's words finally hit her. Noel didn't know how to respond though, other than just staring at him, eyes wide.
"W-What?"
He said he was Sonic, but... this didn't look like any Sonic she'd ever seen before. Human form included. Unlike that form, though, He didn't sound like himself, either. Not really, anyway. Noel couldn't believe it at first but. After what happened with the last case of mistaken identity, she couldn't rule it out either.

Noel took a tentative step closer to him. Shaving inquiry aside, that didn't explain the big arms and fangs and the bulk up. Not to mention the fluff.
"B-But, you look so... different." she says, looking at her own arms, then back to Sonic's. "What happened to you?"

23, right before sunset!
"This is the song that ne-ver ends! Yes it goes on and on my friends! Some people started singin' it not knowin' what it was, and they'll continue singin' it for-ever just because this is the song that ne-ver ends...!"
Re: 23, right before sunset!
He wasn't sure about that song he was hearing, however. That just seemed creepy, especially with that voice.
Sonic eyed the Sun for a moment, deciding he had enough time to go find whoever was singing the song in their heart and maybe send them away to go sing it somewhere else. With Eggman lingering in the shadows, he couldn't risk it... also it would be nice just to talk to someone for a few minutes. Or maybe sing along.
He came upon Skull Kid with a quick jog, stopping once he was in sight. He tilted his head at what he was doing. "Hey! What'cha up to, kid?"
Re: 23, right before sunset!
He seemed to have Halloween on the brain, because most of his dirt scribbles appeared to be stereotypical Jack O'lantern face, complete with triangle eyes and toothy grins. There were a couple of crescent moon shapes hidden among them as well. "I carved a pumpkin, but I think I can do a better job! I just gotta think of the right face!"
He finally looks up to address whoever he's speaking to, and freezes. THIS GUY LOOKS... FAMILIAR...
HOWLS
Oohhh he's weird.
Okay, well... He thought it strange for a moment, but then chose to stay on topic.
"But that's a pretty good face y'got goin' there. What're you tryin' to shoot for?"
LATE POST IS LATE LOL
"......Is your name Sonic?"
BUT TOTALLY WELCOMED.
"....Y..eah. Why?"

"H-hi." Skull Kid said nervously, and added in a hushed tone: "...I know your secret. But don't worry! It's safe with me!"

after sunset, the 24th
She is basically spending this evening flying and gliding between treetops and sturdy branches.

At this time, he had been resting his eyes, taking in the cool autumn breeze and letting it sift through his thick coat. His body had adjusted to its new temperatures every time he transformed, but it felt amazing nevertheless. He smirked a little, giving a scratch to his fluffy chest, and failed to really notice the extra noises coming his way thanks to the wind.

The massive blue thing she caught a glimpse of at least once before was of no surprise to her. Kazooie has seen so much in her home land that there's really no telling what kind of creature would actually widen her eyes... besides Peacock, maybe.
Wanting to flaunt some cool moves for self-appreciaion, she attempted a beak bomb, but doing that in a a forest was a bad idea. She smashed her face into a branch, losing altitude and falling and landing on top of the blue Sasquatch... thing.

"Wo-WOAH!" BAM! Quick trip to the dirt on gravity's back.
