Whether you've been here every year for what seems like eternity, or this is your first time, nothing quite compares to the feeling of Graduation Day.



The Stadium was decked out in school colors and the lights were bright. The stage was simple, classy and bereft of decoration barring the happy, smiling faces of your Headmasters and Teachers. (Those of them who do smile, at any rate.) Congratulations on your impending steps forward, those of you who made it through the school year! Hope your gowns are clean and your hats are appropriately be-tassled!

Of course, such pomp and circumstance can't go on forever. Once all the formalities and diplomas and congratulatory Hand shakes are out of the way, we have Prom! There's tables and chairs set up at the other end of the Stadium, and a huge table covered in all manner of finger foods guaranteed not to dribble or splatter on your rental tux or beautiful dress - so long as you're careful, anyway. And don't forget the dance floor and the plethora of music picked just for all of you to dance to! Tonight should be a night to remember!

Meanwhile, Kai was wearing a formal Japanese men's kimono, the only appropriate article of clothing for such a ceremony. He was already working himself up into an appropriate mental state for such a momentous occasion. The end of a school year was always a time of mingled sadness and hope for the future. There were certain to be tears. He would support every graduating student with his greatest might from the teacher's section.

Somehow, Max had fit himself into a dress shirt and a necktie. He was saving the suit coat for later in the evening. He looked imposing and yet happy. He was imposing because he was the size of a smallish house. He looked happy because students were graduating and he loved graduating. So many happy emotions. So many bright and shining futures.

Jock is here! Jock is not a senior yet, so he is not graduating! But that's okay! Mom is still here! So everything is fine! He'll graduate someday in the future! You know what? It's been five long years, and Vinnie was graduating college. Because fuck it. His academic grades on everything not Pokemon related weren't the best no matter how hard he tried to study, but he was still gonna try and pursue Pokemon conservation in some form. Might as well get this human milestone over with.

It was just a stepping stone, and one that probably mattered more to people who grew up valuing formal education, so he wasn't trying to make a huge deal out of it. Still... he didn't fall asleep reading those textbooks for nothing.

He seems utterly oblivious to the fact that he's wearing an ottoman, however, and is quick to greet anyone he knows as he shuffles to his seat.

It took a lot of effort on Wave's part to feign interest in the proceedings, especially when she had no part in them. Ostensibly she was there as security, and wasn't dressed for prom afterwards yet, and stood nearby to watch.

As much as the good doctor didn't think ANY of these punks deserve to graduate OR get away with what they did to him, he was still obligated to be there as part of the faculty. But oh, he had plans... He was going to have a bit of fun with the outgoing class.

Lucca was late arriving to the ceremony, getting there just after the beginning of commencement. Those who know her only have to take one look at her grease-smudged dress and the thing on her back, and don't have to ask why. Oh no. She got distracted making a Thing.

Not saying he wasn't proud of the graduating students, because he was. He would clap for anyone who got their diploma, giving a solid nod as well.
