Was that always there? Bath House Open Log!
Who: EVERYONE
What: Suddenly, BATH HOUSE.
Where: An unused janitor closet
When: Any time
Warnings: B for BARE BUTTS
In the halls, there was a janitor's closet. A non-descript janitor's closet, one that you probably passed many times along the way. But something was different... Steam was coming from beneath the doorway... And if you happened to open the door, instead of brooms andmaking out students cleaning supplies, you'd find something else entirely:

Somehow, an ornate bath house had appeared in the academy seemingly overnight. Where did it come from? Who knows? It's all yours!

oh no where can he make out with his girlfriend now I mean
But again, he lived. Disgusting and meager as the job was, he would get it done and then he could do something else. Simple as that.
This was especially easier when he utilized the various closets to his advantage. He had the tools to map out the school; he knew where everything was, as he had seen almost every face (maybe not know the names, but he knew the faces). This ironically would work in his own true profession as an Assassin, despite him not really taking said profession into full circle here in FDC.
All of that was relative this very moment, however, because something of odd importance had just happened.
He was approaching one of his janitor closets, not one he used often, but a familiar room none-the-less. It was not so familiar today. Steam started seeping through the hinges.
Was it a fire? It was too outlandish to not investigate further, and act upon it if he needed to.
He opened the door.

At this point after a year of being a resident, it was no longer a matter of "how" but "why". This was obviously a place to take a bath, if the steaming tub were any indication.
He had so many questions, but he was unsure of how to even remotely ask.
He just wasn't touching this place yet with a ten foot pole.
at last, his natural habitat
at least in this schoolexcept when he did feel like it was his business, but when there was mysterious steam that didn't belong there either? It deeefinitely warranted some investigating. Maybe someone left a steam cleaner on or something, so at least he could turn it off.HE OPENED... THE DOOR...

That, of course, kinda depended on there being any cleaning supplies in the closet. Instead, when she opened the door... uh. Not cleaning supplies. Definitely not cleaning supplies.
"Oh," said Alorah, somewhat dumbfounded. "I... I think I have the wrong room."

"A bath house!" she exclaimed. "Oh man! I thought this town didn't have anything like this!"

I should tag with Lucca but this scene would not leave me alone. XD
Gordon had been up to his old dimensional tricks of cataloguing stress tensors and seeing where the coordinates led, and it was usually dirty business, but no amount of monster slobber can add up to the green tingly slime the portal had generated this time. It was well past classtime hours and he was on his way to the janitor closet for a mop and some disinfectant to swab up the lab, sour-faced and his labcoat a worrisome shade of algae-green.
He opened the janitor closet door, steam billowing out around him... and closed it again immediately, glancing at the label on the door. Yup. JANITORS CLOSET, there in big black letters. Since when did janitor's closets involve elaborate mosaic tile and rosewater-scented steam?
Gordon was forced to come to the conclusion that this was not, in fact, a janitor's closet like as it was labeled. That mystery solved, he opened the door again in an attempt to figure out what is WAS, rather than what it WASN'T.

"Hello!" said the bath attendant. "This is the place to revive your muscles and soak your worries away!"

She crosses the hallway in a scurry and pulls open the door, but boggles when the "smoke" fogs up her glasses.
"What the... it's steam?" She says, pulling off the spectacles and wiping them clean.

Moments, later, she boisterously re-entered, clad in a downy bathrobe and matching towel.
"A hot tub!" She exclaimed. "How marvelous~!"

Huh? What was that spilling out from beneath the closet over there? Vapor? Pit snapped out of autopilot and tiptoed over to investigate wet footprints leading from that steamy closet.
"Did the janitor spill hot buckets everywhere?" he asked himself as he followed them to the source. "If he did, he forgot to put up a 'wet floor' sign." He didn't fully buy into his own musings and twisted the handle on the door to find...
"A... hot spring?"
He pinched himself on the cheek.
"Did I just... find a hot spring? In the janitor's closet? What is this, a secret portal to paradise?" The shock of it all slowly wore away, and the more real it felt, the wider his smile got. In a snap he dropped all his stuff and began bounding across the bath house like a frisky baby goat capering across its favorite mountain peak.
"I FOUND A HOT SPRING!!" Technically, a... bath, but hey, what's the difference, right? He dove right in, fully clothed and everything. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!"
Bare bulba butt
So he opened the door.
The wall of steam that he walked in to was a surprise. The baths beyond it an even bigger one. How did this happen. When did it happen. What. Okay.
It admittedly did not take him as long as he might have normally needed to decide that he was going to take a dip. It was a big, warm pool that was helping to convince that spring was supposed to be around the corner. Just leave him there until it happened, everything would be fine, clearly. There definitely wasn't going to be any accumulation of pollen in here at all nope. NOPE.

Maybe he otherwise wouldn't have noticed - considering all the odd things that happened at the school, it was hardly the strangest thing in the world for a closet to start steaming - but when that steam smelled very heavily like your boyfriend, that was cause for some curiosity and/or concern.
Cautiously, Vinnie opened the door and... huh. Way bigger on the inside than it was on the outside. It was like an indoor hot-spring! Admittedly, he quite liked those (when they weren't turning him into the opposite sex).
It didn't take him a second to spot the source of the scent, either. "Fancy hot tub and you didn't tell me? I am wounded."

"...Oh gods, did someone know I'd try to hide in here? Are you going to try to make rabbit stew out of me or something?!" Yarne, of course, immediately goes to the worst possible scenario he can think of, even if it doesn't actually make much sense.

It almost seemed like it was coming from behind that fabled splooshing closet Inigo had been hearing so much about - it was still slightly ajar, and steaming up a storm. What... what had Yarne gotten himself into? With utmost care, he ventured into the misty unknown and peeked through the door. "Yarne, you in there, buddy? Something wrong?"

It was, however, not a sauna when he poked his head in. There was a girl at a desk sitting there, in a room with... baths and a showering area or something?
Max stood and looked in some confusion. "Uh, hey," he said to the girl sitting there. "What's all this?"

Everyone likes the smell of wet dog!
After a good hard run and a little breakfast hunting in the woods, Jon was amazed to find just what the doctor ordered by way of a place to clean up. The steam coming from under the door was a dead giveaway as he stalked down the corridor and let himself in.
"...hello." he said once he finally noticed there was a girl in here.

Flurrie looked up from her luxurious bath, removing a cucumber slice from one eye as she did.
Then she screamed at the sight of GIANT DOG MAN IN BATH.

From an onlooker's perspective, he certainly seemed like he was trying to scope out who'd be going into the bath before he went in. Hell, he'd even try chatting up any girls he ran into. But when it actually came to going inside, well... either he was especially sneaky about whatever he was trying to do, or he hardly ever worked up the nerve to go in at all.
Suspicious? Probably definitely. But really he was way, way too embarrassed at the idea of being anywhere around girls naked.
no subject
Then again, that won't elevate him from a certain possible future development...He certainly had not expect a Mr. Cool Guy looking rather conspicuous in front of the door.
"Earth to Montoya," he whispered on Inigo's ear. "Doors are meant to be opened."

After careful consideration, Kiyotaka came to the conclusion that the lady he saw before was just an attendant and not some bather. That was fine, he could handle that. It wasn't like she was going to watch him change or anything, right...
He stopped for a soak in the evening, after Hajime's proposed schedule went up. Surely everyone would follow it to a T, right. He wasn't going to worry about it right now, he was just going to relax and try to get his mind off recent troubles. It felt like it had been way too long since he'd been able to even come close to doing that.
Surely there would be no stresses whatsoever in this bathhouse environment.

When he heard someone coming in, he had tensed up. Thankfully, for once luck was on his side and it was just his -Kinda? Sort of? He was pretty sure they are- friend.
"Fancy seeing you here, Eyebrows-kun." Brown leered. And maybe a bit jealous of his package.
And maybe checking that out just a bit.(no subject)

slips on in
When he heard there was a new bathhouse, he had to check it out. He didn't expect to find Kiyotaka in there, but he realized in hindsight that he should have. He had a fraction of a mind to just turn back, but the air was a bit drafty and the steam from the hot pool felt nice. Besides, what would it look like if he came this close only to leave? If he could bear a tense atmosphere in his room, he could do it in the bath, too.
Wordlessly, he took the opposite side of Kiyotaka and slid into the bath.
