Perhaps you watched it happen before your very eyes, perhaps word makes it to you via phone, or a friend pulls you over to watch the feed play back. One way or another, you realize a huge drama bomb has been dropped into your laps, Smash Academy:

Eggman's robots are mobilizing.

Seth is some huge, psychotic asshole drug lord hellbent on subverting everyone with clones.

And they're fighting it out on top of a building in FDC and it's being televised.

(What the hell.)

...Or perhaps you are unfortunate enough to not realize any of that until it's too late, and you have been captured and robotsized by Eggman. Perhaps it's less noticeable and you feel like you bumped your head against something and blacked out just for a second. Weird, but you feel totally fine and nothing seems wrong.

Not yet.

Gordon had just punctured open a robot with the hook of his crowbar, yanking it end over end behind him, when he feels a wave of sunshine and fluffy little kittens hit him from behind and is visibly staggered by it.

"Connor, you heard 'im! Let's move!" He finally shouts to the back, kicking the prone robot out of the way and hurrying through the radioactive miasma of glitter and bubbles.

He hopes Apple Kid doesn't keep him to his word on his eating-hit-suit thing. Knowing him he'll have a ray that can transform it into orange jello or something...

Sheik didn't need to be told twice to get down to business, sprinting ahead of the group and using her chain whip and needles to land some CHOICE STRIKES on the PACIFIED ROBOTS.

Sparks flew and there were explosions and sparkly pacifism and it looked a lot like an episode of Samurai Jack.

She stuck a landing and continued around the corner, finding more robots not under the spell of Apple Kid's bomb. At the very least, the increased presence of enemies let her know that they were probably getting close.

Apple Kid, meanwhile, was taking the time to put little magnetic boxes on the backs of the robots on any of them that had just been turned off, instead of smashed.

This was probably his patented (patent pending) Battery Drainer: A Drain for Batteries, just in case they were turned back on. Good, forward thinking, Apple Kid. You let everyone else ahead of you smash the actively-going-to-destroy-you robots. You've done your part.

Connor felt foolish that he stopped for even a second. He then started downing the robots that weren't attacking now. Sparks were added to all the other sparks.

Sparks.
