DRAMABALLS: THE LOG
Who: YOU AND YOU
What: Eggman and Seth's evil plans have been revealed, and this is the catch-all fight log.
Where: around campus/in FDC/AROUND
When: Monday, August 26th
Warnings: heartache and tragedy within
Reference links: plotting post, network post
Perhaps you watched it happen before your very eyes, perhaps word makes it to you via phone, or a friend pulls you over to watch the feed play back. One way or another, you realize a huge drama bomb has been dropped into your laps, Smash Academy:
Eggman's robots are mobilizing.
Seth is some huge, psychotic asshole drug lord hellbent on subverting everyone with clones.
And they're fighting it out on top of a building in FDC and it's being televised.
(What the hell.)
...Or perhaps you are unfortunate enough to not realize any of that until it's too late, and you have been captured and robotsized by Eggman. Perhaps it's less noticeable and you feel like you bumped your head against something and blacked out just for a second. Weird, but you feel totally fine and nothing seems wrong.
Not yet.

The little beam plinked out from Jock's pokeball and hit Jock squarely in the chest.
It fizzled and did nothing, dying out much as her hopes of a peaceful solution to this confrontation did.
Blue probably recognized the stance Jock was taking, the digging in of his back paws. He was going to slam into her again, using REVERSAL. Just to be a dick, as it wasn't that much of a move without Jock being hurt first.
Or he was purposefully drawing it out.
no subject
As it was now, Blue was frozen in place in her shock. Why hadn't it worked? The only reason his pokeball shouldn't have worked was if he belonged to someone else, but he was definitely still hers. A bit desperately, she tried it again as he took the stance that she most certainly recognized.
Once more it fizzled and died, leaving only the foreign sensation of what had to be fear racing through her. Flight had finally been activated in her instincts, but she was hyper aware that there was no point in doing so. There was no time to do anything more than drop his pokeball and scramble to reach for another.
no subject
He flicked his tail derisively at the girl now behind him, and turned around to growl at her. It was a growl that said 'Put away the damn pokeballs.'
There was the sucking in of air and the opening of the mouth that said that there was a flamethrower about to happen.
Now would be a good time to do something effective, Blue.
no subject
As she scrambled to get herself back up, screaming pains shocked through her the instant she tried to move her arm, let alone place her weight on it. That's what that particular crunch had been when she fell in such an awkward position. "Shit." Double shit. Every shit. The time of being a lady was over it was time to only be incredibly upset and also in pain, which was a good combination to actually throw those balls the growls had told her to put away.
Or... roll them. She could roll them. Yeah. Rolling was good. From one came the biggest dargon on campus, the other the most beautiful of hedgehog-esque creatures. There was of course the mandatory, momentary confusion about why they were between a battered trainer and a team mate about to use a flamethrower, but that was also enough grounds to move without hesitance upon the order of, "Knock him out!"
Sienna, the fastest of the three, was more eager to make herself the immediate threat. The Charizard launched forward with an AIRSLASH to keep Jock occupied.

Jock's FLAMETHROWER met the AIRSLASH in mid-air, scattering flames hither and yon.
Two of them meant that he'd be better off with bigger and better attacks. And if the charizard wanted hot air... he'd give her hot air. With enough for the sandslash, too. He sucked air in again, but far more deeply, and the fire that burned at the back of his throat redoubled from what it had been a moment before.

At any rate, it was her magnificent butt's job to keep Blue out of the pup's line of fire, while the trainer found a way to get to her feet and Acacia did her thing. The thing that the Sandslash had in fact been doing already as the fire types sent their shots at each other, scurrying to flank the Arcanine. Of course, a SWORDS DANCE seemed fairly laughable at this point, what with all the shakes and clicks of her claws when there was badass fire shows getting prepped.
Who used stat effect moves really god. There was an unspoken plan as embers glowed red hot in the back of the Charizard's open mouth, beckoning the Arcanine's attention for a challenge as Sienna built up a FIRE BLAST to match.
no subject
Whatever, Jock leaped backwards to keep himself from being flanked by Shambles McWastesaturn and Swanneck O'Firebutt, and let loose a furious HEAT WAVE; waves of fire-laced air, capable of hitting two opponents (!!), went sailing out of his giant, toothy maw.
no subject
Sienna's FIRE BLAST had promptly spat through the heated air into Jock's dumb face as she took the brunt of the wall o' heat for Blue's sake. Predictably, it did not do as much to the dragon, who easily shook it off. Her primary focus was to turn and hoist Blue up in her claws as delicately as she could manage to take to the skies. The cacophony of cuss words from Blue's direction indicated that it did not go entirely according to plan.
It was a necessary evil mostly because, you see, the ground was opening up beneath them all in a twisted landscape of Ouch as Acacia ripped it open with an amplified EARTHQUAKE.
no subject
He took the stupid, not-very-effective FIRE BLAST to the face which, if nothing else, was sort of distracting -- face full of flames and whatnot.
Distracting enough that he didn't realize what was happening to him until a chunk of ground jumped up and hit him in the side. And then another one. And then he fell to his side and kind of got tumbled around by the fact that the stupid GROUND wasn't being GROUND right now.
Okay that didn't feel very good anymore. That felt super not really good anymore. As soon as the earth stopped shaking, he got up to his feet and, in the blink of an eye, used EXTREME SPEED to crash into stupid Sandslash to make it PAY.
no subject
It was a warning that was not needed. Everyone knew Jock was fast. Sometimes, extremely so. This was one of those times, and the Sandslash barely had enough time to tuck and roll with her spikes bared. Blessed be the high defence, but oh it did not feel good as he slammed his very large body mass against her much smaller frame. She did not feel very pretty at the moment, rolling across the crumbled earth.
This was dumb, why was Jock being so dumb. SO DUMB. Whatever. Feeling a lot more ow than before, she slashed her claws out into the ground. The order was to knock him out, and she trusted Blue enough to follow it.
This time it was sharp shards of rock erupting from below Jock's feet. Sienna and Blue were a safe enough distance away that she had no reservations about using STONE EDGE as well.
no subject
A few drops of what should have been blood fell to the ground, but instead of being red, they were deep purplish.
The arcanine, feverishly angry, tore at the Sandslash in front of him with all the strength he had remaining, in a terrible FIRE FANG attack, biting down, spikes and all, on her back.
The thing that was Jock was pissed.
no subject
Blue had been haphazardly deposited on the ground moments before, left to stumble to her knees. She had begged Sienna to make it stop. As much as she couldn't bear to watch it, the trainer forced herself to. They were her own and they were fighting each other because she told them to and... There really wasn't any time to think about it.
While she couldn't actually stop the flow of tears down her cheeks, she could do more than just cry. Blue shoved herself back on her feet, pushing herself through the pain and making a dash towards her forgotten bag. All three of them were going to need it.

As the hideous fire-lizard clawed at Jock to get him off of the Sandslash, the Arcanine released the overgrown rodent and turned his hate-filled gaze upon the charizard.
She wanted to get up and close? He'd give her up and close.
The arcanine started to spark with tight yellow crackles of energy as the charizard continued her assault, pulling in energy for some sort of Wild Charge. He pulled his head back and then bashed it into her side with a sickening, sharp retort and lances of energy pacing across both their bodies, sizzling across his already heavily wounded body.
Purple blood started rolling down his forehead from the point of impact, blurring his view.
no subject
The crackling of the energy in the air certainly got Sienna's attention, but there was little to be done about it in all of its unexpectedness. She roared and spat flames in response to the super effective pain coursing through her, stunned by both it and the sight of the purple blood matting the fur on his face.
Blue had stopped so abruptly she nearly toppled over again, impossibly wide eyes glued to the sight presented to her. Jock didn't know any electrical attacks. Jock didn't know any electrical attacks. Jock didn't know any electrical attacks.
Who the fuck was this.
The trainer jerked her head towards her battered and bleeding Sandslash, who was looking to her for some sort of direction because what the fuck was even going on anymore. Blue had no idea. Not a single one. This Jock was bleeding violet and pulling out moves she didn't know how to account for, which was something she would have expected out of anyone but a Pokemon she had personally trained. There were a couple of dozen red flags all over this fight already, and this had just dumped a whole new set of them on it. "DO IT," she shouted to Acacia, her voice cracking audibly as she did so.
One more weakened EARTHQUAKE to bring the pup down, and then they could try to figure this out.

His head hit the earth and there was a sickening cracking sound, as the lights went out of his eyes and he fell limp to the still roiling earth.
The blood flow of purple ichor from the forehead increased at a startlingly fast rate.
Oh wait. Wait, the body was shaking and convulsing violently now. It writhed as if in pain. For a moment the firedog's eyes snapped open again and looked, in agony and terror, directly at Blue. A low whine slipped out of his throat.
Then it exploded in a miasma of purple mist.
no subject
She didn't understand what had just happened at all. "Hey," she said, as if anyone would answer. He had exploded. He wasn't there. Her other Pokemon exchanged weary, confused looks, but Blue was too stupefied to notice.
Blue sank to her knees, her right hand dragging against the ground as her arm hung uselessly at her side. It didn't matter how much it hurt or how much it burned each time she took a breath. This was the spot her puppy had been. Her beautiful, wonderful puppy. Or who she thought was her puppy. It hadn't been her puppy. Whatever that thing was it...
It didn't matter at all. Whether or not it had really been him, it did not change the fact that the look he had given her was one she would remember for the rest of her days.
"Jock?"
He wasn't there. No one was there. He had stared at her, hurt and scared and dying.
"Jock?"
Blue huddled over herself, her hair mingling with the gross puddle of what was left. The only thing that was here was the sounds of her broken sobbing as she cried until she was hoarse. Cried until she was forced up and led away from there, but even then it was not done. Tears upon tears as she uselessly choked on his name and was flown away.
MEANWHILE, ACROSS TOWN
Out of it popped an arcanine, who promptly collapsed on the floor in a heap, frozen in shock. His brain was singing out jolts of agony across his entire body, especially in his forehead. He couldn't see straight. The lighting was bad, but somehow everything was a brilliant bright white.
He lay on the floor, panting, unable to get up, for several minutes. Little alarms were probably going off after his release, ringing dully in his ears, but thankfully there was nobody there to do anything about it. Evidently there was something else going on at the moment that was keeping them away.
Finally, he opened his eyes to look around him. He had no idea where he was. In fact, the last thing he remember was being... killed. He was snapped up the day before in a pokemon ball and then lost control of his body. There was a voice in his head screaming orders at him that he couldn't ignore and... and he'd... he'd done them. He couldn't help but do them.
He whined as he remembered attacking mom. Openly attacking mom and breaking her arm and who knows what else. And trying to kill Sienna and Acacia. He'd never try to kill them. Why did he try to kill them. He was always a good boy. Always such a beautiful, good boy, who only made his mom happy.
He had to find them. He had to get out and find them. Finding mom was the most important thing in the entire world. Where was he? He had no idea. How did he get out? He had no idea. He was going to have to try to find a way out. He pulled himself to his feet, and then fell over. The headache wouldn't go away, and while the bright white light had gone away, the world still danced when he opened his eyes.
Maybe. Maybe he could crawl to a door. He sniffed the air (at least that sense wasn't going crazy-go-nuts) for the scent of fresh, outside air. He dragged his way to a door that was letting air flow beneath it. He couldn't open it like this. He was going to have to turn back into a human.
STILL ACROSS TOWN
He shifted back, and followed his nose some more, eventually feeling stable enough to walk through the hallways, smelling his way out, and shifting back to being a human to open doors. Why did this place have so many doors? Who built this, some sort of maniac with a door fetish?
After one transformation, he had the bright idea to try using his cellphone, but there was no service. At least, he didn't think there was; he was still having difficulties seeing right.
Eventually, he came to a staircase going up -- there hadn't been any windows, so of course he'd been underground -- and he stumbled up the staircase, into the bright, far too bright, and far too noisy gaming center above. He hated each and every bright and flashing machine with his whole heart. He stumbled through the building and out the doors and, after finally finding sunlight and fresh air, sat down on the sidewalk and started crying, because now he was out, and he was happy to be out and horribly, horribly sad because he knew he had to go find the person and pokemon that he'd hurt.
His phone would work. Please let his phone work. He would call her and tell her he loved her and ask her if she was okay and everything would be fine and nothing would be wrong and he could stop crying.
