I'll have a cup of tea and tell you of my dreaming
Who: Everyone
What: DREAMS
When: A whole 24 hours spanning from September 14th-15th
Warnings: Creepy nightmares? Innuendo? I don't know, the usual.
There had been so much buzz about those stupid lollipops for weeks now. Not only out loud, but in her head - thoughts ranging from what's the deal with those things? to gotta have more to pricy as fuck. Eventually, she confused the cravings of others for her own, and it just so happened that her very own roommate had a box right on her side of the room!
Casey wasn't supposed to touch it, but she didn't see why. Money issues, or something. She didn't get the big deal about money either. She wasn't a Meowth, so there was no reason for her to have any. Therefore, the rules about it didn't apply to her.
That was her logic, anyway.
When Ai was asleep, she opened up the box and put her telekinesis to good use. Five of the candies lifted into the air - two green, three yellow - and the wrappers tore off in perfect synchronization. Too bad nobody was watching. The Abra opened her mouth wide and crammed all of them in at once, because she had no concept of savouring anything.
Shortly after, she fell asleep, the sticks still poking out of her mouth. That had to be bad for her teeth.
Soon the dreaming began...

The game of wait and follow continued for a little while. Bulba would trot ahead and wait for the painter to catch up over and over. The forest around them continued its subtle shifting between two forests. Eventually, however, it appeared the evergreens won out. Less cut down remains lingered away from the Garden. They had reached a point where one forest's appearance had triumphed over the other.
It was here in this shady part of the forest that the Ivysaur sat down. This would be fine. He looked up at Garry and suddenly there was a boy sitting there. "Sorry. Humans aren't supplsed to be there."
Ps did you ever wonder what Bulba looked like naked? ...No?
T o o b a d.

At first Garry was going to ask what this place was. But that in itself was a bad question to ask now that he knows it was secret.
"I promise, it wasn't intentional I'm here..."
no subject
At any rate. Garry seemed perfectly sincere. Bulba didn't think he had any reason not to be. He smiled a bit.
"It's ok. I'm not supposed to be there either." He said it without really knowing what he was saying. They were just words leaving his mouth. Bulba stood up, casually brushing stray debris from his behind. "Sorry I couldn't say anything earlier. It'd be weird if they saw an Ivysaur turn into a human. We generally don't do that."
no subject
"But still, this is a pleasant dream place you're in. It's so peaceful here."
Aaaaand there it is.
no subject
He turned away then, granting Garry a look at the intricate scrawl of a flower that was all over the skin of Bulba's back. The Ivysaur glanced over his shoulder, making a beckoning motion with his hand.
"This way."
no subject
"Back to-ah."
Bulba must have known where they were going, so he just kind of tagged along. He lept thinking about that tattoo, though.
"Wow, that's some tattoo! What an intricate design that is. Such detail, whoever did it must be skilled."
He was very fascinated by it. He's an artist so.
no subject
He attempted to peer over his shoulder at the image, pursing his lips slightly. "I guess it is. I've never gotten a real good look at it before." It was just sort of there, and Bulba didn't go looking in mirrors all that often.
"It's not a real one though. That's just my flower."
no subject
Uhm.
"You don't mean the flower on your back as an Ivysaur, do you?"
Because the tattoo looks JUST like it.
no subject
"Hm? That's exactly what I mean. It had to go somewhere." He made a vague, awkward hand motion with his hand towards the majority of his back. "It's mostly internal, but I can feel it through the picture and stuff."
no subject
Okay so now comes the big question, a little delayed in asking.
"Where are we going?"
no subject
Not questioning the flower was probably for the best. Pokemon Science really wasn't anything you wanted to think about the details of very long unless you knew what you were getting into. But as if to illustrate the point, as vine casually slipped from just inside a shoulder blade, reaching out to gently hold back a branch that would have otherwise gotten in Garry's face if he wasn't looking. And if he was pre-occupied with that tattoo, then, well... yes. Hello vine.
Bulba was more focused on the way ahead. "This way.... mm..." He gave the forest a glance. "Home."
Which was odd. Home wasn't anywhere near the Garden. Huh.
no subject
That next five seconds are now bleached from his mind. Back vines. Shudder. Bulba just. Moved the branch. That is it. He is not crazy.
Ahahaha...ha.
"Home?"
That's a very vague place. Home as in "the school" or home as in "his house". This isn't real life, Bulba.
"...The forest?"
no subject
Bulba's pace slowed a notch as he glanced back at Garry, a small melancholy twitch entering his smile. "No. That isn't my home. Home is..."
There was another pause and he looked a bit confused. Part of him was realizing that things were not quite right with where they were. This should not have been the way to home. The Garden was no where near Viridian, so why were they suddenly there? He had not previously been aware of his dreamings, but something was starting to stir now.
In the end he just shrugged and continued on. "Viridian City should be this way."
no subject
Garry's confusion was up to 11. Okay now he had to ask.
"Bulba, where are we now...?"
no subject
"Viridian Forest," he informed Garry without another moment's hesitation. "Though to be honest I have no idea how you got here."
no subject
"I walked through a door and I had no idea where I was going..."
A hand went and reached to touch Bulba's shoulder. Which means stop for one second and listen.
"Bulba, do you know what's even happening?"
no subject
"No...?"
no subject
"Bulba, none of this here is real. You're dreaming. We all are."
no subject
So he looked into Garry's eyes instead.
"..."
Blink. More blinking.
"I guess that would explain how we walked from Vermillion to Viridian in five minutes."
no subject
He feels better Bulba got it so fast, he must be a serious veteran to weird things. Garry secretly sort of is, and he's thankful there's one less someone he's regarded as a friend has possibly not seen his nightmares.
"You're not the first dream I've accidentally stumbled on. It all started with mine and I've been seeing doors so."
no subject
"You go through doors then? I wonder... This isn't really the first time people have been able to see each other's dreams."
no subject
That's concerning. The thought of people on more than one occasion being able to see the inner workings of a person mentally...Garry is going to have to be on extra defense. Garry ran his shoe through the dirt out of uncomfortable habit.
"But yeah, I've gone through a number of them already."
no subject
Bulba tilt his head, considering things a bit. "I wonder if you'll even remember any of them when you wake up."
no subject
He hopes he forgets, EVERYONE forgets. Garry looked around...so...what to now.
Since, Bulba, you now know this ain't real.
