Pink is everywhere. No matter where you look, you're sure to see the signs of soft pink and white blossoms. There's a fresh spark of life filling the air and just beckoning for everyone to come outside and enjoy the sweet scents of spring. Well, except for you, people with springtime allergies. They just want to make you miserable. But for everyone else, it was a wonderful amazing time to be had.

There are wonderful spots for picnicking! Frolic inducing atmosphere and the space to do it! Every so often you will see vendors selling treats for the event! Cosplayers taking advantage of their natural environments for photo ops! Hot date spots! Blossoms! Sparkles! Everywhere! Even when it rains.

This log is completely open! You can do whatever you'd like with whomever you'd like whenever you'd like. Just start up a thread and go!

"No wait!" he sputtered, "No I meant of course you can sit here. I don't mind at all!"

Oops. Kanji did indeed sometimes say confusing things. Naoto had caught him off-guard, flustering him. Or at least that's what he attributed it to. If he was more of a reader, he figured this would be a great place to sit down and read too. ~~He actually stole Yu's copy of Magical Witch Detective.~~ But as it was, he was just eating lunch. Naoto's company would be more than welcome, even if she would be reading.

She tilted her head again, before smiling and laughing at bit.

"Very well. Thank you." In a few movements, she was on the other side, using the coat (carefully mind you, it was important to her) to sit on the grass as she leaned. When she was settled in, she spoke again.

"Ah...upon leaving the office today, Bob-sensei gave me a bento without explaining why." Her voice was slightly confused. "I am...unsure what to think of it, considering her relation to Majima and how she knew I was on my way to purchase one from the nearby grocery. Regardless, I do not believe she means us harm, despite who she is. We cannot complete, considering all she has given us freely." She meant the detective office that had mysteriously things that every member of the Investigation Team might enjoy, even those not here.

She extended the box to him so he could see it.

"Would you like some of the tamagoyaki? I have already sampled it myself and amazed by how much it brought back memories of home. It is much better than most I have purchased before."

Kanji was still suspicious of this Bob person, especially after what had happened in Inaba. Was Bob just playing games with them, waiting to see how she could evaluate humanity and the world? Regardless, he didn't give it too much thought. They got a sweet office, and now they had a bento box.

"Really? Sure, I'll have some."

Kanji used his chopsticks to grab some of the food. Upon tasting it, he had to agree with Naoto.

"Wow!" he said as his mouth was stuffed with tamagoyaki, "This is amazing!"

It was similar to what his ma would make, and it brought sort of a nostalgic feeling to him.

After swallowing his food, he finally asked, "So, you don't think this is all some weird part of a game or something that that Bob person is playing with us?"

"I am uncertain," she answered, putting the bento box on her knees to think properly. "Regardless, this will require an investigation. Unlike Izanami, Arceus appears to be blessed with the gift of foresight and time travel. She has not doubt already seen and heard our conversation and perhaps it is why she offered this bento to me in the first place. And yet..."

She trailed off.

"She doesn't seem rather malicious for now, but...perhaps it would be best if I showed you." A few clicks later and her phone was opened, as she clicked a few link and arrived at a webpage with the details she needed, before handing it to him.

"This is the Myth of the First Judgement of Arceus."

If Kanji read and scroll down what was written, he would find out how (at least according to legend) Arceus grew tired of the humans fighting and Judged them unworthy, ending the world.

"Izanami offered to humanity what it desired the most. Arceus, however, appears to be working on its own whims and as a final judge, making her much more dangerous. However, these are myths I have found during my research. I do not know if this is true. We must find seek out the truth for ourselves."

Kanji listened intently to what Naoto said, and read about the god Arceus. Yeah, Naoto certainly was right. As nice as this god seemed to be, how could they trust her?

"So you're saying that if we piss her off, she could just go BLAM!" He made a motion with his hands to demonstrate the impact. "And just destroy humanity just like that?"

True, it was just mythology. But so was the myth about Izanagi and Izanami, and that turned out to be actually somewhat true, at least from what Kanji could remember when he actually paid attention in class. In fact, he never even really believed much in the gods and goddesses and stuff before this whole murder thing happened. And now, he knew that his life was almost like a plaything in the hands of some higher power. It was unnerving.

"As unlikely it might be, I would rather not take the risk. She seems to be idolized by make of the Pokemon faculty and staff, which will no doubt hinder getting true information. Yet it seems ill-advised to look around for clues around her considering how generous Arceus been with us and the office above her own tea shop..."

She couldn't see it as a way to distract them, but it did leave a bad taste in her mouth.

"I propose speaking to her directly and privately. Perhaps just getting her view will help us understand her better."

"Yeah," Kanji agreed, nodding. "I mean, you think she might be giving us all these nice things so that we won't get suspicious? Or that others won't?"

That seemed likely, given just how... generous this Arceus seemed. It was just really difficult to trust her, especially given the fact that not only was she a god, but she had the free will to extinguish everyone at a moment's notice.

He wondered what Senpai would have to say about this. He was pretty much their leader, after all, so Kanji wanted his input too. Maybe Senpai was less suspicious of Arceus, who knows. But since he was the one who had to confront Izanami directly, it would be wise.

"We should probably get Senpai's opinion on this."

Naoto nodded, closing the bento box, looking at it and the blue bunny pattern engraved on it. The box was certainly expensive, judging from the craftsmanship.

"I agree. Arceus was not on the list I was given to watch over, but I believe considering the circumstances that enlightening ourselves on her will help us reach a proper conclusion. Perhaps we could return to Inuba to discuss it with the others as well, if Narukami-kun decides this is the best course of action."

Kanji also looked at the box. The details were indeed intricate, probably more than what he could do. He assumed that Arceus had something to do with it, probably constructing it out of thin air, or else buying it with money constructed out of thin air.

"Yeah," he agreed, leaning back in the bench, "That'd probably be good."

Too bad they didn't discuss it last time they were in Inaba. But they were already too concerned with another goddess at the time...

"Heh, although I wonder what Teddie of all people would think."
