Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's going down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment, but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Slumber party in the common room! Build a wall outside your best or worst friend's room from whatever garbage you find lying around to prevent them from escaping the confines of their dorm! Gather around the TV for some late night movie action! Kidnap a princess or two! Break down some unfortunate walls! Whatever you want. It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

I've been rather busy lately. I've been trying to work in the schedule whenever I'm free, but between classes and extracurriculars, I've only had the time to exercise a couple times a week.

Oh, well, if you really want good gains, you need to get in at least three times a week.

[Good gains. Right. And how many times did the oaf get stuck in doorways thanks to his over-sized muscles? Disgusting.]

Three is... doable. I try to jog at least that much, though with the weather getting colder, I suppose indoor exercise might be better.

[Not that Jeff wanted to agree with Max. But the sooner they reached a polite agreement, the sooner they could part ways and never speak to each other again. Wishful thinking.]

[Jeff frowned. It's not like he was pulling all-nighters right and left. He was a man who enjoyed his beauty sleep, thank you very much.]

I'm getting plenty of sleep. Certainly enough for a person my age. Classes were just boring and tiring today.

I take a nap every day.

You're a teacher now, aren't you? You don't have to deal with taking classes all day. And that's not even counting all of the homework from advanced classes that I'm taking.

[Wow. If Max had the time to take naps, then he had time to be a more productive person. Talk about a waste of time. The only napping Jeff liked to do was out in the sun, on the beach, getting a perfect tan.]

I took a nap every day when I was a student, too.

I can't help but wonder what you're final grades were. Homework is a necessary step in order to further your education and prove your intelligence on tests and projects. To say that you only did it "sometimes"...

But you graduated and became a teacher, so I suppose that shows some... skill.

I'm already a general in the army. It ain't like I needed any of that stuff, other than to make my mom happy.

Though I'm sure she'd be happier if you had a less... life-threatening career. Had you ever considered any other possible career choices?

Army turned me around. I was a douchebag of a teenager, until I joined up when I was fifteen. They straightened me out.

Can't imagine doin' anything else.

Winnin' strongman contests, maybe. Don't know how much money you can make offa that.

Strongman... contests? Well, I can't say I know much about those. Or about how much you can make from them.

But good for you. Getting your life in order, and in such a patriotic way. And now you're a teacher, helping younger people. You sure know how to give to the community.
