After Celebi's inquiries about tiny, berried plants, she came to a few conclusions. Either people really liked them or people were pretty indifferent to them! Or they were grumpy. There seemed to be a lot of grumpies. Clearly the solution to that was to bring the mistletoe on to campus and let it flourish! EVERYWHERE.

IT WAS EVERYWHERE.

In the halls. In doorways. Over your locker. Over your rival's locker. Dangling over your head exactly when you least expected it. If you did not want to encounter it you were probably encountering it.

And they were persistent! They were under the grass pixie's watchful eye this year. Did it just move when you tried to shoot it? Was the shot reflected back at you?? WHAT.

To make matters worse, if you happened to find yourself under certain sprigs of the holiday plant, you were stuck there. STUCK FOR ETERNITY, or at least until you got a smooch. How perfectly, wonderfully devious. There was a certain witch to thank for that.

HOW FESTIVE.

Oh, nothing special! I mostly hang around and celebrate it with my friends. I also give out presents and cards and help with decorating and stuff. So, what about you? Anything special?

[Marth thinks on it for a few moments. He's evidently not certain how to answer it without hesitation.]

It used to be that I would visit Akaneia during the holidays and different times of the year. This one, however, is different.

[Because of this being in love nonsense, he supposes. And it's not really nonsense in hindsight.]

I am hoping to spend it with some of my allies, I think. Much the same as you. Offering out gifts to those close to me. Enjoying the season, I think, before the snow and ice should melt.

We're not spending it so different then at all! These winter holiday traditions are new to me. I mean, I never celebrated them in Skyworld! That's where I live, you know. [He laughs a little.] Even the snow is kind of new stuff. It's fun to play in.

I think that sounds rather... beautiful, actually. Sky anything sounds beautiful, though. Why is it that you never go back?

But I do go back! And it is beautiful. I wish I could show you! I wish I could show a lot of people.

[He places his palm against his cheek for a resting place, rolling his eyes away from contact and pulling his face like he's showing regret or consideration.] I... tried taking pictures once. They never compare to the real thing, which is a big fat shame. Maybe I need to learn more about photography first...

Pictures will never exactly take the place of something to see with your own eyes, Pit. But for those who cannot go with you, you can only share with them the beauty readily available in your fingertips. And sometimes, all you have available are pictures.

Have you ever considered using your pictures as incentive to convince them to join you on your next trip?

You are all angels, I assume. It could be troublesome without wings or a Pegasus.

[Pit doesn't want to go into detail about his nonfunctional wings, not if he has to. So he keeps quiet about that detail. Oh Pit.]

[Marth blinks when Pit addresses him. It's a little odd to have anyone refer to him as 'prince' nowadays. Not that he particularly minds. His reaction initially is just a light laugh. He's not offended at all.]

What in the world are you apologising for?

You may call me whatever you would like, Pit. But we are friends, are we not? What use are titles with friends?
