After Celebi's inquiries about tiny, berried plants, she came to a few conclusions. Either people really liked them or people were pretty indifferent to them! Or they were grumpy. There seemed to be a lot of grumpies. Clearly the solution to that was to bring the mistletoe on to campus and let it flourish! EVERYWHERE.

IT WAS EVERYWHERE.

In the halls. In doorways. Over your locker. Over your rival's locker. Dangling over your head exactly when you least expected it. If you did not want to encounter it you were probably encountering it.

And they were persistent! They were under the grass pixie's watchful eye this year. Did it just move when you tried to shoot it? Was the shot reflected back at you?? WHAT.

To make matters worse, if you happened to find yourself under certain sprigs of the holiday plant, you were stuck there. STUCK FOR ETERNITY, or at least until you got a smooch. How perfectly, wonderfully devious. There was a certain witch to thank for that.

HOW FESTIVE.

I'm Mr. Resourceful. You can't pin that down with one specific emotion, even if determination is a big part of it. You have to back that determination up with ability and thought too.

This is true. None of what you say is wrong. Unfortunately, not everyone can have the logic you do, or even if they do, there's still the issue of them not applying it to their lives. You can say plenty of valid statements, but sometimes you can't expect others to really take heed of them.

Before I came here, I never celebrated Christmas. I imagine I'll continue commemorating it as long as I'm here at the academy, but I'm finding fewer reasons to return to Lilycove. If we ever have a contest hall open here, then my hometown is in danger of being minus one Gardevoir.

Hmm... I wonder if there IS one in town. I know there's at least one Gym, though, it's not quite the same as regular Pokemon Gyms from what I understand.

Gyms and contest halls aren't exactly the same. I'm not really fit for any kind of gym, unfortunately. I don't think we actually have a hall here, though. Not to say we won't get one sometime in the future.

[She shifts her weight between her feet in thought.]

Either way, I doubt I have much of a reason to return home just yet.
