As a quiet Sunday morning dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Today would be the day.

Today, it would snow.

"With you?"

That was a first. Even Raiden had never bothered to spend it with her while they were kinda-sorta-together. Not that he mattered or anything because he didn't. Ever.

After a moment she allowed a wide smile to spread over her face. Just the thought of the invitation alone was enough to get her spirits up. "...I think that would be nice. It seems we could both use the company, hm?"

It was a little hard to disguise her surprise at how quickly Blacky jumped on the option. Whatever happened since the masquerade must have been terrible. She kept thinking about how different things were for both of them at the time. And a lot must have changed for the two as well. Nabooru knew they did for her.

Her expression relaxed into a bit of a contemplative smile and she nodded. "Yes." She wanted the company of someone who wasn't trying to use her to make other people envious. She wanted the company of someone who wasn't going to belittle her. She wanted the company of someone who didn't supposedly kill her in the future.

"We can do whatever you'd like. It'll be my treat, okay? Sort of like a 'thank you' for spending it with me."

"Anything?" She rubbed her chin in an exaggerated display of deep thinking. "I'm going to have to think of something suitably terrible just to make you regret that, now."

Nabooru pinched Blacky very lightly in reply, "Anything short of blowing up the academy, all right? The moment we start getting into vandalism, things are going to get complicated. Neither of us are innocent enough to escape suspicion on that." But she was smiling, which was a good indication that Blacky was definitely raising her spirits.

Blacky returned the pinch. On the bum.

"Goodness, that never would have crossed my mind. Why would I blow up the place I keep all of my belongings?"

Oh. That was her butt. Did you like that, Blacky? Nabs is very well-toned, you know.

"I'm just making sure. You're a bit of a troublemaker, as innocent as you're making yourself out to be." Nabooru smiled and she tipped her head very slightly. "But then, we both are. This is acceptable. We can cause trouble together. It's more fun that way, anyway."

It was a fine gem of a butt sculpted by the gods and smoothed by desert sands and what the hell is this metaphor. ANYWAY.

"I was thinking of just making trouble for you, but I like my plan better. Let's get revengeance on all the foolish men who have given us trouble this year."

"Making trouble just for me?" Nabooru asked as she lifted her eyebrows. "I don't think you could ever actually cause trouble for me." Maybe with her. But not for her. At least, that was what Nabooru thought and the Gerudo had been proven wrong many, many times before.

She reached over and pinched at Blacky's closest cheek gently, "You want to get revengeance, hm? And what kind do you want to get? Killing people seems to be frowned upon if the recent days are any indication." But Nabooru was joking about killing. Really, she was.

"Of course I wouldn't kill anybody! The last thing I need is to be haunted by some complete jerk. We'd be stuck together forever." She huffed and crossed her arms. But that did bring up the question of what kind of revengeance she did want to exact...

"Perhaps just... Hmm. Trashing their rooms seems a little amateurish. How about, aaaah, rubbing it in their faces what a fantastic time we'll be having without them? And not inviting them."

Nabooru didn't bother to remind Blacky that she could do haunting of her own. But she supposed the Misdreavus had a valid point. She waited patiently and even agreed with a nod when Blacky mentioned amateur behaviour by way of vandalism. To be fair, trashing anyone's room hadn't even crossed her mind. When she thought of revenge~~ance~~, she thought of just simply beating the living daylights out of them.

But that would probably not work out well either.

"You think that would work? The real way to break a man is to break his spirit, they say. Make him see how much he's not wanted around - because everyone wants to be wanted. You sound like you're onto something. I think I could get behind this."

"Breaking his spirit..." That just sounded unnecessarily cruel. Ergo it was perfect. The most wicked smile spread over her face, not far off from being downright malicious. This was stupid and petty and she knew it but she didn't care, darn it.

"I think this sounds like a fine plan. Anyone on your list?"

Wow. It was kind of... scary how Blacky's feelings and intentions could be so transparent. Perhaps Nabooru shouldn't have brought that up. But it was too late to worry about that and sometimes one just had to... well. Take the plunge. Over thinking and analysing ran the risk of missing out on something and for one reason or another, Nabooru felt like she couldn't miss out on whatever it was that was impending.

"Anyone on my list?" Nabooru parroted in surprise. "Hm. I'm... not really sure. My situation's not cut and dry like I wish it was. It's a little more complicated. But if I were to say that there weren't a few guys I'm not happy with would be a lie. But I don't need them and I'm sure they know that."

But unfortunately, as far as she could tell with all three of them, they didn't need her and didn't care enough. That kind of tactic of showing them what they were missing probably wouldn't work on men like them. "What about you?" she found herself asking.
