baby it's cold outside
Who: YOU
What: SNOW
When: DECEMBER 4th
Where: EVERYWHERE
Warnings: SNOW
As a quiet Sunday morning dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Today would be the day.
Today, it would snow.
[OOC: GO CRAZY. Make threads. Have snowball fights. You guys know how this works.]

"You want me to do something for you, again?" Shinon asked, emphasizing again. "I haven't even received due from the last favor." For now, he would keep his arms crossed.

So she turned from him, settled a hand upon her waist, and continued trudging through the snow, leaving it entirely up to him whether he chose to accompany her or not.
no subject
And this meant he had to keep following her, which was normally a thing he didn't do. Shinon usually just let people walk away if they were going to "be that way" about something, but he wanted to see what was at stake. He took a few quick paces forward before slowing down at her side. "Play in the snow, huh? You're going to go do that?"
Yes. Best apology, ever.
no subject
And at that moment? She wanted to punch all of the teeth out of Shinon's mouth. But she didn't. Because really, what was the point?
She finally glanced sidelong to him when she thought she could speak again. "Ai's the one playing. I'm more the one just watching her. Going to make sure she doesn't get eaten by snow monsters, I guess."

Then she paused for a few moments and tipped her head. "Probably. At least until Ai's ready to go inside. Or whatever she plans on doing. She's trying to show me the joy in snow. The joy that doesn't exist. Why? You want to join and make it 'family time'? Or did you need me for something?"

Shinon shrugged off the heavy jacket he had on and, without asking permission, draped it over Nabooru's shoulders. "The least you could do is dress appropriately. If I were wearing what you're wearing, I'd be pretty damn cold. Come on, if you're going to be standing out here for a time, the least you could do is put something warmer on."
no subject
You don't need to do that, she wanted to protest. That's completely unnecessary. Don't pretend with me. I hate it when you do that.
So she simply stared at him for a time as her brain tried to reboot itself and actually work again. "...It's... a pride issue," she found herself saying. "I should wear my ethnicity proudly, even in the winter. I am not so weak as to be taken... down by snow." And she was beginning to blush, which really just made her shift to hide her face in his closest arm.
"You're going to be cold if you give me your clothes," she murmured.

It was sort of like he'd managed to melt her icy demeanor in instants, he mused, just through this one act. It made him want to feel confused, but he knew it was because it was a display of concern he just made. So he looked away from her and back at the trees in the near distance.

How Shinon made her feel in the present and how he'd always made her feel was equally stupid. And the idea that he did concern about her, whether he said it or not, was a little embarrassing. She could have handled herself. She really could have. If she were so desperate to show him, she would have. Except... The more fighting she did, the more she just didn't have the energy to constantly argue and banter.
She rubbed her hands over her face and moved to put her arms through the sleeves of his jacket. She practically swam in it, frowned at the realisation, and considered flapping her arms. But she quickly pushed that temptation aside. "Thank you," she said quietly as she followed his gaze over to the trees. Then she looked back over to him, "If you're in a hurry, you could go. Otherwise, unless you think it'll kill you, stick around a bit. We can go for... a walk or something. Or you can tell me what you want in return for me putting you through Hell on Earth."

"Yes. That's fine," she replied as she stepped through the snow in her slippers. "That's just fine with me." Although now she was obsessing. What kinds of favours did he want to talk her into? It seemed so straight forward coming from him...
no subject
He attached himself to her side, walking at the same pace as her (and taking note of the slippers - yet more attire that he deemed unsuitable for the weather).
no subject
The Gerudo weren't such forgiving people.
"So what about these favours?" she asked, cutting to the chase and offering him a brief glance.
no subject
Besides, he was too busy remembering what went through his drunken head that night when he was considering what those favors could entail. But he had to have a little class! Maybe.
"Give me sex," he demanded."How about we settle on this," he started, motioning with his palm out as though there were something there to be negotiated. "When I want a favor out of you, I'll tell you right when I need it. Is that something you're willing to do?"
no subject
"Well, if I have to," she replied. And then she took off her pants."You want me to be at your beck and call," Nabooru directly pinpointed easily. Like she was a servant. There was a chain there. He'd managed to find a way to leash her and that was only slightly infuriating. Well, perhaps not that horrible. But it was frustrating.
"You mean to tell me you worked all of that up and you don't have anything? I might not be so kind later on." She stopped and turned to him before lifting a hand and tapping him upon the tip of his nose. "You shouldn't push your luck when you're still in trouble." In trouble with her. In trouble in general. And he knew it, and she knew he knew it.
And now he knew that she knew that he knew. "I'm tempted to make you spend the day with Ai and me, boyfriend."
no subject
"Okay, let me get this straight," he began; "You want me to spend the day with you and your student to absolve me of my blame. If that happens, then our favor deal is still on."
no subject
Except feelings did not work that way.
"Don't make it sound like the most horrible thing in existence," because she was pretty sure he'd define that as spending the day with Byrne. "I'm a woman of my word. I said I'd do whatever it was you wanted me to do and I still intend to uphold that. I'm honourable, after all, and you're not just anyone."
no subject
He gave her a long look before looking back to their path. He sighed soundlessly, but his warm breath left a cloud of white in the cold winter air. The archer shoved his hands in his pockets, considering her words.
"Fine," he said. "If it's because you want me to, I guess I still have the time." It wasn't going to kill him, he thought.
