The sun goddess had decided to take a break from patrolling the campus when the snow began to pile up, as it made walking in it a little more difficult. So she made herself comfortable by the steadily-growing Guardian Sapling.

Snow reminded her of the northern land of Kamui, and with it the Oina tribe. They'd been in a far greater danger than any other land she'd visited prior when she arrived, but she hoped the worst of it was behind them. After all, they had the great warrior Okikurmi to ward off any demons.

Amaterasu held faith in her people, her friends and her children, just as they held faith in her (hopefully). And that was what granted her the strength to carry on each day.
