Dorm Log!

Who: It's OPEN. (Anyone)
What: Dorm hijinks and etc. Whatever you want.
Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond.
When: January 20-31
Warnings: Not even gonna.

Remembuh me? The roomie log turned out to be a success, and a lot of really awesome interactions took place. Because of this, I've decided it was about time to post round two. The name has been changed a little because I think it reflects the premise slightly better.

Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like. Some examples can be seen in the link I provided if you fight through the buttload of comments in case I'm sort of unclear.

So how do we start? It's up to you, really. Don't have any plans with anyone else but want your character bugged? Start a thread. It helps to staple dates and times, but you can keep that completely ambiguous if you really don't care/it doesn't matter. So disembark and wreak havoc amongst yourselves! Set up karaoke and sing loudly to further improve relations with dorm neighbors! Jack cylindrical fluorescent light bulbs from the supply closet and fight like Jedi Masters! Build couch forts with other people's laundry! (...ew?) Hold a "study session" with that special someone of yours! Harass teachers and students alike with your inane questions! What bountiful possibilities await you.

Peach walked in and greeted Zelda with a larger smile. "I've been getting situated with classes. Other than that, been having a peace of mind that my kingdom is in good shape right now."

Which she has faith would stay that way for a while. Unless Bowser got back into his old tricks.

"It's a bit difficult adjusting after break, isn't it?" Zelda always found it a challenge to come back to school after visiting Hyrule. "Did you do anything exciting with your time off?"

"Yes, I suppose everyone gets use to leisure after quite some time. But once it gets further in people will adjust to schoolwork too."

Anything particularly exciting? Other than a fake Falcon making out with her and the death of their teacher- Oh, Zelda probably meant GOOD things. Oh okay.

"Well, there was a small New Year's ball at the castle. I did return home for that. It was a nice thing to be a part of."

"That sounds lovely." She said, returning the smile. "I imagine returning home was very nice for you."

"Hmmm, yes. I miss the Mushroom Kingdom sometimes, it was a very nice visit. I suppose we all fall victim sometimes to being homesick, yes?" Peach replied. Peach also felt bad not being there sometimes, being the princess and everything. "But even if I'm not there, hearing that everyone's doing well does me a lot of good."

"I'll admit to being homesick from time to time." It was hard not to be. Her father...and Impa...and the familiar halls and grounds of Hyrule castle. She thought of it more often than not.

"I returned home myself over break. It was nice to see everyone again."

Oh, that was nice to hear! She looked like she wanted to hear more. Discuss, girlfriend.

"How nice~! Did you do something exciting when you arrived? I would imagine a lot of people were excited to see you back."

"Nothing particularly exciting." She confessed. "It was, however, nice to spend time with my father and Impa."
