Dorm Log!

Where: Student and Teacher dorms, and quite possibly beyond.

Remembuh me? The roomie log turned out to be a success, and a lot of really awesome interactions took place. Because of this, I've decided it was about time to post round two. The name has been changed a little because I think it reflects the premise slightly better.

Basically, here's what this is: we all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good portal for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR and the like. Some examples can be seen in the link I provided if you fight through the buttload of comments in case I'm sort of unclear.

So how do we start? It's up to you, really. Don't have any plans with anyone else but want your character bugged? Start a thread. It helps to staple dates and times, but you can keep that completely ambiguous if you really don't care/it doesn't matter. So disembark and wreak havoc amongst yourselves! Set up karaoke and sing loudly to further improve relations with dorm neighbors! Jack cylindrical fluorescent light bulbs from the supply closet and fight like Jedi Masters! Build couch forts with other people's laundry! (...ew?) Hold a "study session" with that special someone of yours! Harass teachers and students alike with your inane questions! What bountiful possibilities await you.

[Said lady had her eyes closed when Marie had initially poked his head in, but opened them slowly as she felt his presence. Dana seemed to be waiting for someone to walk on by and probably give her shit about what she had done.

It was only a matter of time. Slightly lifting her head, her faintly glowing body and eyes brightened up as she stirred from her slumber.]

...H-hello?

Oh... Uh, sorry. I didn't mean to wake you.

[Her glowing body. The markings... She was undoubtedly Dialga. The same Dialga who threw Vinnie off a roof? Marie sighed quietly.]

No... no, it is alright...

[Another slight shift, she was trying to get a better look at Marie. Hm...]

I have been cradled within the realm of the slumber for far too long, it seems...

[And... yet another slight shift to try to push herself to sit up. This one was in a quick bout of failure. Her sharp breath imminent of what had happened when she tried to push herself too fast. She slid back down against the comfortable bed and looked up to him. .... She was still very tired.]

What brings you to my assigned dorm? Is it... because of what I had foolishly let myself become recently?

[What the hell is this chick talking about? Marie looks at her with a guilty expression.]

Look, I didn't mean anything by it. Your door was open, and then I was trying to... I'm sorry. I can go, if you want...?

[Oh wow he... wasn't actually going to nark at her. A-Okay.

Dana held up a hand to his suggestion, actually kind of fond of someone in the dorm other than Mesprit right now.]

Stay if you wish. I apologize, I... Have been a little different since being released from the hospital.

[The hospital...]

This is probably a stupid question, but you're ... Dialga, right?

[This chick may have thrown Vinnie off a roof. Marie continues to stay standing around in the doorway.]

You are correct. I am Dialga.

[Boy she is awfully calm.]

[Marie has his hand in his pocket, ghosting over his phone. Just in case...]

Oh. ... I haven't met very many legendary Pokemon before. ... Do you know my teammate, Vinnie?

It would make sense. We can be quite elusive at times.

[Oh no, Marie... You hit the wrong button on her. Dana took a moment to answer, laying her head back down and frowned.]

I... I do know Vincent...

[Vincent... Marie has almost never heard anyone refer to Vinnie as Vincent. He frowns.]

I think I should probably go...

[She's just really formal. Derp.

Letting out an audible sigh, she knew that Marie had known what had happened between them.]

If I am causing you alarm, please do not be frightened.

[But... she knew that she could not keep him if he didn't want to stay.]

However, if you do wish to leave, you may do so. I... am not trying to detain you.

[He's a little intimidated by Dana's vocabulary. He shifts uncomfortably.]

I'm not scared. It's just... Didyoureallypushhimoffabuilding?

[FFFFFFFFuck. fjkskjd She has to be honest with him. :C]

I... I did.

[Crud. This probably sounds so bad, she quickly adds.]

You must listen. When I engaged in a skirmish with him, it was not the real me. It is complicated to explain what was the true factor of why I ended up turning into that horrible beast, but I assure you that I will never do such a thing again.

[It takes a minute for Marie to decipher what Dana had actually just said. His expression remains suspicious as she explains the situation, but quickly softens after it sinks in...]

So, like, you were possessed?

[She couldn't help but smirk just a tiny bit when he said that.]

... You could say that.

[There we go Marie. You're a smart boy.]

... So what actually happened? I mean, you kinda threw my best friend off a roof, I think I deserve to know.

[He leans in the doorway, making himself comfortable now.]

[Okay, she was being serious again. Shifting herself slightly, she began what... brought her to that state.]

... You do. As you may or may not know, I am the caretaker of time. I watch history's events as they are without interference. Unless something is wrong.

Certain individuals residing at this school have somehow slipped through a crack in time and were forced here. I was bothered by it. If... you could not tell.

I had just bottled it inside, and it grew until I could not take it. Literally I had... well... [How to explain dis in Marie Terms.] I had cracked, myself. I would never cause harm to Vincent normally, I assure you of this.

You ... got so upset you became a different person?

[That's pretty intense, man.]

Is that ... normal for legendaries?

There... have been instances of where legendaries have been consumed by their emotions and "became a different person." In fact, I believe that recently there has been an instance similar to mine happen at this school.

[Shit sucks when you have big priorities and they make you crack a bit.]

... But you're okay now? ~~I mean, you're not going to throw me off a building?~~

[His expression and posture seems to mellow a little.]

Of course. I am back to my normal ways.

[She lets off a small smile, trying to show that she was back to normal.]

Have you said sorry to Vinnie yet?

... I have not.

However, it is not that I am... holding off doing so. I just... cannot move that much right now. I really do want to, too.

[Hrmmm guess she's not so bad after all. Dana talking quietly makes Marie want to talk quietly. And so...]

Why don't you just call him?

[Oh gggd.]

... I um. I am still unsure of where to begin to try to apologize to him.

[A small pause, and she dropped her volume even lower]

A-and... I am worried that he will never forgive me...

[Was she blushing? You better believe it.]
