BLIND DATES GROUP 3

What: BLIND DATES!
Who: Anyone who was sent a note with an E# & F# table numbers.
Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!
When: November 19th
Warnings: Who knows depending who is here.

[The third group's restaurant is a rotating fancy restaurant, the tallest in all of FDC! The place is high up in the air, and you can see all of the city from above! It slowly moves around itself so you can see the city from 360 degrees. The menu has all sorts of things. Still expensive, however, but you've been given a 100$ budget for eating each!

The lighting is dim, with flickering, oil candles on every table. The place is decorated in stylish black and browns, with reddish lanterns hanged on top. The overhead
music is half traditional Italian love songs, half that band you don't remember the name of and sometimes a little song sneaks in. Your servers are all dressed up for the occasion, and speak broken English and talk-like-a-dis despite the menu not being 100% Italian.

Beside each candle, there's a card. Each card has a different letter-number combination.

Find your table!

OH YEAH AND FEEL FREE TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE!]

"Not originally. The rest of the team and myself lived up there for a while until we eventually moved in to Master Red's house, much to his mother's displeasure."

Poor Master Red's mom.

Zelda was not terribly familiar with the Pokemon world or how trainers worked, but she knew a team could be quite a handful. It wasn't hard to imagine Red's entourage under one roof--she didn't know any of them particularly well, but she could make a few guesses.

"Ah, I see." She said, taking a sip of her water. "Were you training in the mountains, or taking a holiday?"

Two words: Gun-Oar.

"A bit of both," he replied as he folded his hands. "It was the perfect spot for training and very isolated. The only human contact we had up there was with Master Red. It was nice, especially after our long journey through Kanto and Johto... Two of the regions back in my world."

oh my

She nodded as she listened to his story, recognizing the names of the Pokemon regions. "I admittedly don't know much about Kanto and Johto. In fact, it was hard to believe so many other countries and places existed before I came here."

"I understand. Even I was surprised at how many different worlds there are out there. It is quite fascinating, isn't it?

"What is your world like, if you do not mind me asking?"

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-12-10 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
More fascinating than she could have ever guessed. She stopped mid-sip and placed her glass down on the table. "Ah...I come from a kingdom called Hyrule." Zelda paused briefly, considering how much about her decidedly royal situation she wanted to disclose. "It's very different from here--I'd never seen a computer before. I live with my father in one of the cities."

TOOK ME HALF A MONTH TO TAG BACK.

"Your technology is not the same then?" he tilted his head slightly. Although he wasn't computer savvy himself, a world without computers and hi-tek gear would be strange.

s'all gooood

"Not at all." She said, almost laughing. "It took me nearly a month to begin to understand how the lights worked." A bit of that initial fascination crept into her voice. "You just flick a switch and the entire room lights up!"

Kojiro eyed her ears for a moment before he asked, "I apologize for making this assumption but is your world magic based?"

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2010-12-31 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
She nodded enthusiastically. "It is. I'm learned in it, myself."

[identity profile] punchicebergs.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"Really?" Here's a conversation he'd never imagine to actually be discussing outside of DnD. "What type of magic do you know...?"

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2011-01-04 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"A few different techniques. Some offensive, some defensive...I can create magical barriers and teleport short distances." She was, of course, not planning to divulge her most practiced magical ability of changing her appearance. A girl had to keep her secrets, after all.

[identity profile] punchicebergs.livejournal.com 2011-01-10 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
"That's quite fascinating... Now that I think about it, I suppose the powers we Pokemon can use could be considered magic.."

[identity profile] rulebywisdom.livejournal.com 2011-01-10 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"Perhaps so. A form of elemental magic inherent in each species." She had to admit, the idea interested her greatly. "It's amazing what kinds of things this school attracts, isn't it?"
