Except it's not really all that dark and stormy. It's a cool, clear night in Final Destination, ready and waiting for shenanigans of all sorts. The streets are full of trick-or-treaters, the front porches are full of pumpkins, the sky is full of stars. All-in-all...a perfect evening.

Of course, nothing is always as it seems. As the night drags on, it becomes clear that something is not quite right. But what is Halloween without a few scares? As someone once said, it's close to midnight, and something evil's lurking in the dark...

Under normal circumstances he probably would have left this situation while assuring himself that he is indeed the best thing ever and anyone who claims otherwise must be mentally deficient on some level. Unfortunately tonight if he did that there would be nothing to distract him from his raging crush on Alejandro.

It didn't take him long to recover from that ego punching. "I don't think I know!" he bit back, before firing his own ego punch "If your precious little heart can't handle me then you should just run away." he was going to add "like everyone else" however he caught himself midway making it sound like some weird half shout and half mumble.

He put an arm around Silver's shoulders. "Ohh? My precious little heart?" Shinon mocked, eyeing him.

"Whassat supposed to mean, anyways? Y'know, you are probably one of the weeeirdest kids I ever met. Always..." he hiccuped. "Always denying stuff and all that. Haaaha."

"It means you're weak" he scowled before trying to push Shinon's arm off him. He was quite sure he had enough of questioning his sexuality for one night and Shinon was just making it that much worse.

"Tsk. Yeah, and you're one to say it," he murmured, leaning onto Silver for support. The push didn't seem to do much.

"Can't call a guy like me weak and get away with it, kid. Kiiiiid."

"Get off of me already" he grunted. Squirming out of this would have been easy if Shinon weren't so heavy.

That seemed to provoke Shinon to lean in further. "Nnnnup. I do what I want, y'hear? You're just a kid. Gotta do what I say."

"I'm not a kid... and even if was I shouldn't have to listen to you!" he protested. Really that was kind of the most he could do at the moment, as he seems to be failing spectacularly at pushing him off.

Shinon drew him into a not-so-gentle headlock. If he weren't drunk, he wouldn't have even bothered to touch him.

"You're a kid, through and through," he explained. "And kids should listen to their elders, yanno? Geez, you don't know nearly enough."

It was at times like this Silver did something he was very good at: staring at his opponent with all of the concentrated anger and frustration he could possibly muster in the hopes that this look of pure evil would somehow intimidate them into giving up.

Also he squirmed as well, it went as well as you would expect a 12 year old who looks like a twig to try and escape a well trained 30-something year old's headlock.

Nope. Shinon seemed entirely unaffected by Silver's look, and he almost seemed not to notice anything wrong at all.

"'Sides... how old are ya, anyways? I'll gamble you're probably 7," he mused slowly to himself.

Seven would have been the correct guess. If it was 5 years ago. In Shinon's defense Silver pretty much hasn't matured at all in those 5 years. Still this was enough to offend him a bit.

"7? I'm almost 13!" he barked.

At least he was starting to grow tired of struggling his way out of this headlock. Not necessarily physically, but this was clearly going nowhere and all it was creating was a ton of frustration that currently had no outlet.

"7... 13... same deal," he slurred.

Then, on accident, Shinon forgot that he was relying on a shorty like Silver and leaned entirely on his frame, loosing his balance.

Silver was having a hard enough time just keeping up his balance with the amount of weight that Shinon put on him in the first place, and there was absolutely no way he could hold his entire body. Ultimately all that was left was for gravity to take over. Which it did. Toppling to the ground was even less fun with a drunk guy on top of you.

On top indeed. Shinon and Silver fell together, the archer crashing full on on top of the boy.

"Shiiiit!" he hissed. "What the hell?"

Once he recovered from having the wind knocked out of him, Silver found himself asking these very same questions to himself.

"What is wrong with you?" he growled. He would try to get up but Shinon was too heavy for that so for now he was stuck with the delightful smells of hallway carpeting and drunk.

"Why are you falling like that?" he garbled, moving a little, but not able to get off. "Goddess damned... stuuuupid boy. Stuuupid."

Silver tried getting up, yet it was still not enough wiggle room to escape.

"Hmph. You're the one who thought leaning on me was a good idea! Now get off of me, stupid..." He attempted again to get up as he finished that sentence, but it was to no avail.

Instead of responding, the drunkard twitched a little before groaning, shifting himself off of the redhead and propping himself up on the floor. "Damn brat..."

With that, Silver sat up as well. After scowling at the drunk for a few moments he finally spoke up. "Are you going to apologize for falling on me or what?"

Shinon looked at him and almost automatically replied with a sorry, sorry, but he didn't. Instead, he huffed. "No way. Ain't my fault in tha slightest."

Silver would have laughed at your stupidity Shinon except this wasn't the kind of funny he found stupid. "What are you talking about? It's not my fault you were stupid enough to lean on me like that."

And then Shinon was even sort of poking fun of himself without noticing. "Yeah, well, you aren't even da drunk one round here, are ya?" He snorted. "You kids dunneven know what it's like to be drunk."

That was the best thing he could think of at the moment, sadly.

That didn't even make sense. Silver had given up on him saying or doing anything that wasn't completely idiotic tonight. Really, the last thing he felt like doing was babysitting him. "Tch, whatever..." he grumbled as he stood up before walking down the hall.

"Yeah! Leave, boy!" he called after him, trying to get to his feet. "Hahaaa, damn brat... damn... I can't... fuck," the archer hissed.

Whoops, coordination was off. How does one get to his feet without coordination? Shinon pushed himself from the floor with one hand only to find that the world spun quicker, causing him to fall to his knees. "Dammit!"

As he began to walk down the halls, his thoughts again turned to that lovely mysterious gentlemen he had met earlier. Like most boys his age, Silver was under the impression the sort of feels that he had stirred in him were disgusting and wrong

... but what if they weren't? Perhaps then-

No. he wasn't going to allow himself to finish the thought. There was absolutely no way he was even a little gay. With that he realized that he really did need someone to take his mind off of Alejandro. Considering Shinon was the only one around at the moment, he decided he would much rather be pissed off by an obnoxious drunk man then be gay for a night.

Thankfully Shinon didn't go very far. Or anywhere at all, for that matter. Silver smirked. A vicious little smirk, he really did enjoy watching Shinon wobble around too drunk to even get off the ground.
