Where? The Stadium.
When? August 16, morning

[ONCE AGAIN, the class is seated in the bleachers for A Very Enlighening Lecture. Just like every other class he's done JUST BECAUSE I DON'T LOG EM DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T HAPPEN..., there are a few minutes of talking and question-answering before it's time for whatever the exercise is today.]

Good morning! For the past few weeks, we've been talking about the importance of agility in a fight. Today you'll all be putting what you've learned to the test by jumping to all these platforms.

[HEY GUYS REMEMBER BOARD THE PLATFORMS? The cool hologram-y thing the Stadium does looks kind of like that.] Once you jump to a platform the red light will turn blue - there are ten in all, reach each one for the best grade.

[OK SO

The smaller, less strong folk are going to excel here and the giant guys that PUNCH LIKE BEAR will do... Not as good. Instead of falling into a bottomless pit and having some dude yell "FAILURE" at you, the entire platform course is like 8 feet up in the air with a bunch of heavy padding on the ground below.]

If I do this in my regular form, it's easy. I assume you'll have me accomplish this task in this form. [Pointed finger, as a matter of fact.]

[Oh woop Selene was... not at all speedy. Seriously, she was SLOW AS A SNAIL because she has never been good at running and jumping, especially not the latter.

[SOMETHING FOR SMALL WIMPS TO EXCEL AT? AWW YEAH. But Jeff is only a normal human and can only jump so high and far what unless the stadium is going to go all BRAWL PHYSICS on us. In which case he will jump like a Motherfag. Either way he's totally ready for this.]

[Oh hey, this class will let her do some training with her speed. She was faster than most Spinaraks, but not by much. Awesome. But she'd probably be able to do this easier in her spider form...

She just gazes at the teacher for a while before raising her hand.]

[Unlike poor Selene, Amp was more of a natural at speed and agility. She nearly fell off a couple of times due to her own clumsiness, but otherwise, she managed to complete almost every platform.

Jumping, gliding, climbing and jumping again in rapid sucession is basicly what Knuckles is all about when it comes to traversing any kind of terrain. Couple that with natural sonicfag Echidna speed and he manages to complete the course pretty quickly. Not as quickly as some others might, but a pretty respectable showing.

[Silliest sight is Anshu leaping from platform to platform, completing a grand total of 4 before losing it and falling to the ground below. Don't tell anyone, but she made two of those by some honed levitation powers. Shhhhh.]

[Spinarak wasn't the fastest, but she was pretty skilled with her web strings and her sense of balance. She poofed into her Pokemon form and used her string shot skill to get across from one platform to another. She may have taken longer than most of the students, but she got across to all ten platforms.

[Whatever. He never fully specified how to go across to get all the platforms. He turns into his dragon form and flies through the sky, smacking at the top of the platforms with his tail as he flew through to change all the lights.

[Leaning forward, Raikou watches the pattern of the first set of platforms for a split second before taking off, moving from one to the other so quickly that the little lights can't keep up as they turn from red to blue.

As she barrels down, wall-to-wall, to get to the next set, it's pretty obvious that doing this in her true form is akin to cheating, her yellow body made for agility courses like this...

The last one is always the hardest. There's no pause in her loupe as she leaps across the gap to the final marker.

She barely touches it long enough before she goes skidding over the edge to her feather doom.

But hey! At least she got the all!]
