Touring! Misty sure likes it!

Who: Misty, Falkner
What: TOURING. Around the school. Because... Falkner needs it.
Where: The school, of course.
When: July 24

This was only to remind Misty that she'd really needed to keep in better contact with the other leaders.

She kept in some decent contact, namely with the Kanto leaders, but since she had hung out with Jasmine while she was still around, she hadn't really been with the other leaders. This was something she had to fix. In fact, how was she with the school in general? She wasn't around as much as usual. That, as well, was something that had to be remedied.

Falkner was a Johto gym leader anyway, right? She never really kept in contact with any of the Johto leaders at all unless it was for important business, if at all. Maybe she should broaden those horizons. Morty was already at the school, and now Falkner had just arrived. This just gave her a bit more initiative.

That was enough of that train of thought, though. It was time to focus on why she was meeting with Falkner today. She headed for his place and gave his door a knock.

Falkner had to give it some thought. He wasn't very fond of the activity, but it was more like he never lent it much attention. "I suppose. I don't do it often."

Aw, he didn't? Well, that was a shame, Misty thought as she walked down the flight of stairs leading out of the control panel. That wasn't to say, however, that she couldn't always convince him to try it again.

"Oh, well... that's okay! You can always try it again sometime! What else do you do in spare time? Or do you just fly with your Pokemon for fun?" She questioned. That seemed like a fun activity, but one she also hadn't given much thought to. It looked like in that manner, she was in Falkner's boat (no sea pun intended).

Oh wow, you got him smiling again. If Misty was passionate about all things aquatic, then Falkner was all about the skies. "Yes! I do. There is nothing like soaring along the wind on your partner's beautiful wings. Not only is it refreshing, but liberating. I love that feeling... Have you ever flown on the back of a Pokemon before?"

Sadly enough, Misty had never flown atop a Pokemon before. She knew now that there were water-types that could indeed fly, such as Pelipper and such, but she never really owned one. The experience of flying through the skies on a Pokemon was unknown to her, let alone the idea of flying in general.

"I've never flown before! I don't even think I've flown on a plane before, let alone a Pokemon," she answered. "I've only ever had to surf on my Pokemon to get to where I want to go! I always surf on Lapras or Starmie!"

Incidentally, Pelipper was flying through Falkner's mind as well. Misty used water types, so adding Pelipper to her roster didn't sound like such a bad idea, in his opinion. "Have you considered Pelipper?" he asked.

Misty nodded, her eyes switching between looking at Falkner and looking at the skies above her. "I have! I don't... know why I haven't gotten one yet, actually. Aren't they only in Hoenn?" She frowned. "Maybe that's why! I've never been to Hoenn before. I love traveling, but I just never get to do it for one reason after the other!"

Even though she would be later. And forget to get a Pelipper. OOPS~

"You're not alone in that, for I too haven't been as far as Hoenn... but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that Wingull can be spotted down by the waves of Vermillion's coast. That's just a hop and a skip from Cerulean!"

"They are?! I didn't even know that they were!" The more you know! Perhaps Misty hadn't seen them because it'd be a good while since she'd visited Vermilion City. Perhaps she'd have to drop by sometime. "I guess I'll have to go back one day!"

Once they reached the school, Misty pointed to a nearby outdoor area. Clearly the pool was nearby. "Come on, this way," she spoke. "The pool's right around here!"

It was just about as big as he expected, considering the size of campus. "Impressive," he mused. "It looks well tended to. You must come here every day."

"Well, not EVERY day, but every OTHER day! Every chance I get!" Misty explained, gesturing to it. "It's REALLY good to go to all the time during the summer, too!"

Well, the pool was shown. She paused, wondering what else was left. "Oh, hm... where else do you want to look at? Any classrooms? The courtyard? The greenhouse? The cafeteria?"
