22nd-Jul-2008 07:54 pm - MATH 101 Lecture #6 - Absolute Values
Hello again. I hope you have been sufficiently awakened by the last class...*chuckles*. Just sit down quickly and hand in your problem sets, etc. etc. Your quizzes from last week are also graded...and curved due to some major failures difficulties. Hmph!

This is an easy class today...so you can stop looking so damned crestfallen. Now... *starts writing on board*

16th-Jul-2008 10:38 pm - MATH 101 Lecture #5 - QUIZ LOL
*hmphs before standing in front of more-or-less tired students*

Harumph! Okay class. Since you look soooo psyched right after coming to that really damned crazy and not so relaxing trip, I thought it would be "fun" to get your day started with....

*paper rustles*

A POP QUIZ. Take all your materials away - except for your pencil and eraser - and take the test. When you are done, you can leave. Any blank handed-in forms will result in fatal shake-age. GOT IT?

Oh, your last problem set grades are posted as well...AND TAKE THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK ON THE WAY OUT. har har har. >:}

30th-Jun-2008 05:56 pm - MATH 101 Lecture #3 - Graphs
Hello, ignorant kids students. Just sit down quickly and hand in your problem sets, etc. etc. *is a bit nervous due to current events of a certain teacher coming into sbg ((Only super hacker students can comment on this k?))*

I guess I was a bit harsh on you last week (Pffff) by giving you a problem with imaginary numbers. But to the smarter students, I'm glad it was very easy to handle. Har har. Anyway, we'll be learning more about the visual aspects of various equations in the Cartesian plane.

25th-Jun-2008 02:26 pm - MATH 101 Lecture #2 - Quadratics
Welcome again, ignorant children students. I hope you did not have much trouble with your first problem set. Anyway, just hand in your work in front of my desk and I'll hand you the grades next time.

After seeing a couple of people struggle EPICALLY FAIL with your first lesson, I'm going to help you learn about the quadratic formula...and to some extent, square roots.

18th-Jun-2008 09:05 pm - MATH 101 Lecture #1 - Algebra Basics
Welcome to Math 101, ignorant children students. I hope you haven't misplaced your brains lately, for I will try to allow you to learn some math before you graduate from this high school.

Since I do not exactly know each student's math skill level, I will just do an introductory algebra lecture for now. Then, depending on how many understand it, I will go a little further on more specific topics like number theory, geometry, combinatorics...so on.

*pauses briefly on whiteboard before writing*
