As a quiet Friday dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Tonight would be the night.



By Saturday morning, the entire academy would be covered in snow.

BUT WAIT



That wasn't all--a large pine tree had made an appearance on the main quad, in desperate need of decoration.

"Asked for my ultimate attack!" he boasted, preparing another snowball. He was about to throw it, when...

"...Where'd Riwane go?"

They found out soon enough when the snowball version of a carpet bombing happened to pass right over where they were fighting thanks to one dargon carrying a large container full of snow and unloading it during a flyby!

"DUCK!" Jon yelled to Jolt, sprinting forward in a selfless gesture to protect his one time adversary from the rampant snowsplosion raining down from the heavens.

He shielded you with his body, Jolt. You pretty much owe him your life.

[rivalthunderbolts]

Your sacrifice would not be in vain, Jon. Jolt was more than ready to avenge him. "Don't worry, she is so not getting away with that!"

Quickly shifting to Jolteon form, he kicked up a pile of snow chunks. Then, he fired Pin Missile at the snow drift, launching small snowballs at the flying Charizard like puffy machine gun fire.

Good thing she still had the container! It made for a makeshift shield as she flew over them. Guess this would be turning into an all out free for all! Smash Style!

Finally landing atop one of the snow hills of the fort, she placed the container in front of her as a wall and swiped her strong tail by the side of it, sending a wave of snow in thier direction.

"Sodding hell - she's not messing about! Run!" Jon replied as he backpedalled through the snow, this time leaving sparkle-ass the wonder pooch to fend for himself!

Yeah, well, someone was faster than you, Hairy. Enjoy your snow bath.

Riwane grinned and growled excitedly. This was loads of fun! So much so that she was trying to find more creative ways to swing snow, like using her wings for instance! She began flapping them strongly close to the snow in hopes that a mini blizzard would pick up.

Snow bath nothing - Try finding a way to blend into the shadows with that lemony hued pelt, Pika-Puppy.

Jon, quite resourcefully, found some shelter behind a convenient tree.

Okay, time for plan B.

"Hey, how's your throwing arm?"

[jonny_talbain]

"Extremely good. Why?"

[rivalthunderbolts]

"Throw me up there."

What were they planning? They were getting too quiet over there and she couldn't quite make out anything through her flapping of wings. Nothing she could do unless she wanted to give up her range advantage so she'll just have to prepare for whatever comes. Maybe she could retaliate if she focused on countering!

"Alright. Hang on to your hat." he replied, darting out from hiding, scooping the yellow Pokémon up under the belly and hurling him into the sky.

...he hadn't been exaggerating. His throwing arm WAS excellent.

"I haven't got a haaaAAAAT!" Jolt called out as Jon pitched him into the air. Fortunately his size made it easy for him to grab on to that big swan neck of hers and latch on to her back.

"Hey babe!" he taunted as he secured himself.

Riwane had been ready to retaliate an attack, regardless of where it came from. However, as Jolt rolled unto her back, she looked over her shoulder and grinned.

"Changin' sides?"

[rivalthunderbolts]

"Just evening the odds," he teased.

Then he laid his paws onto Riwane's wings, giving one of them a wiggle to destabilize her flight a bit.

Oh geeze - was he trying to knock her flight path off? He suddenly stopped hiding and started to run underneath her, arms outstretched just on the off chance that she somehow lost aerial stability and fell from the sky and he had to catch her and sparkledoge.

So that was the ploy? She could play this game too!

"Huh, s'that so sparkbutt? Well, I can take a fall, can you?" Because she twisted mid-air and was about to seismic toss both of them straight down at full speed. Talk about a double edge!

Jolt definitely was calling her bluff. "You wanna go down together? Fine by me!" he teased.

"No no no no nononono!"

Jon was going to catch you both.

It was probably going to hurt.

It HAD been a bluff! But you never ever challenge derpwane!

She picked up speed as she grinned.

"Here's hopin' snow's as soft as it looks now!"

"One way to find out!"

Seeing as neither of them were the type to back down from a challenge, a crash was inevitable. They landed in a bank of snow, kicking up a cloud of white powder. Jolt was flung off and landed face first in a mound of snow.

Jolt was lucky enough to be flung off. Jon was squarely pinned underneath roughly 200lbs of Chari-butt and buried in aforementioned snow bank.

That was quite the resounding crash and the cloud of snow that billowed in all directions made it seem like a small contained snow storm in the area. Even before the cloud settled, the flapping and scurrying of wings could be heard amongst grunts of annoyance before Riwane let out a roar.

"Yer dumb! Why would you do that?!" Of course she was just as much as fault for doing it to begin with, she just dind't think both boys were so hard headed. She had had her fair share of crashes while learning how to fly so one more wasn't a big deal to her. She flapped her wings hard to clear the area and see the damage. "You boys bettah be okay or Ah'll beat yer behinds!" she growled, though there was a hint of worry in her voice.
