As a quiet Friday dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Tonight would be the night.



By Saturday morning, the entire academy would be covered in snow.

BUT WAIT



That wasn't all--a large pine tree had made an appearance on the main quad, in desperate need of decoration.

Jolt definitely was calling her bluff. "You wanna go down together? Fine by me!" he teased.

"No no no no nononono!"

Jon was going to catch you both.

It was probably going to hurt.

It HAD been a bluff! But you never ever challenge derpwane!

She picked up speed as she grinned.

"Here's hopin' snow's as soft as it looks now!"

"One way to find out!"

Seeing as neither of them were the type to back down from a challenge, a crash was inevitable. They landed in a bank of snow, kicking up a cloud of white powder. Jolt was flung off and landed face first in a mound of snow.

Jolt was lucky enough to be flung off. Jon was squarely pinned underneath roughly 200lbs of Chari-butt and buried in aforementioned snow bank.

That was quite the resounding crash and the cloud of snow that billowed in all directions made it seem like a small contained snow storm in the area. Even before the cloud settled, the flapping and scurrying of wings could be heard amongst grunts of annoyance before Riwane let out a roar.

"Yer dumb! Why would you do that?!" Of course she was just as much as fault for doing it to begin with, she just dind't think both boys were so hard headed. She had had her fair share of crashes while learning how to fly so one more wasn't a big deal to her. She flapped her wings hard to clear the area and see the damage. "You boys bettah be okay or Ah'll beat yer behinds!" she growled, though there was a hint of worry in her voice.

A moment later, Jolt's head poked out of the snow bank. He spat out a mouthful of snow, and laughed. "That was fun!" he replied with his customary good humor. It would take more than that to take him out.

"Sodding hell." Jon mumbled through a mouthful of snow. "Did anyone happen to get the number of that lorry?"

He sat up a little groggily. Luckily enough, Riwane's butt wasn't plated with silver so any injuries he received were survivable.

"You dummy! Ah should wallop ya fur scarin' me like that!" But soon enough she was laughing herself and shaking her head. She turned her head to look over Jon and gave him a look over.

"Ya okay?"

Jolt changed back to human form, sitting in the snowbank and laughing. "Sorry 'bout that, but damn was it a fun ride!" he joked.

"You know it takes a lot to damage me, Luv." he replied, shoving himself to his feet and shaking snow out of his hair in the same way he might if he was in his wolf form. "...just glad you're a Charizard and not something weightier."

He well remembered the wallop that came with being Giga Impacted by that Snorlax git. Even with a coating of metal armor he'd felt that one all the way to the bone.
