SNAKE'S GONNA TEACH YOU HOW TO SURVIVE
Who: Solid Snake Professor Pliskin and YOU
What: The Snake Survival Box Camp
When: Oct. 04 ~ Oct. 06 (Hi, we're backtag friendly here.)
Where: Deep in the forest where no one can hear you scream from cardboard cuts. Except you know, the people in the forest.
Warnings: Box eating is somewhere in here, I'm sure.

wait isn't that Big Boss no shut up get out
Snake had decided it might have been a class requirement for the students of Boxes 101 to join him on their free weekend for a Survival Box Camp, which he didn't fully explain. Snake also decided that maybe some students and faculty who weren't a part of Boxes 101 could come along if they wanted to. No, seriously. Who was he to stop them?
The whole trip was just supposed to like an educational outing, thrown in with some roasted marshmallows.

And then maybe a little "Kumbaya."

Okay. Maybe not so much of that.
Whatever the case was, anyone who had tagged along was a part of the Professor Pliskin 'Family,' albeit a temporary thing. With a forest to explore, things to learn, and naturally - box survival - a plethora of things awaited the eager (and not so eager) adventurers.
OoC Notes:
Basically aside from threads specific toward Snake actually trying to be a good instructor, this is a free-for-all log. Get lost in the forest.Ransack a fortress or encampment. Eat poisonous berries. Attempt air assaults. Literally, it's a free-for-all.

Survival Box Camp. How to survive with boxes. What a weirdly specific thing to be taught...
"Boxes are useful for things, sure. Like storin' shit and sendin' packages. But how the hell are they gonna help us survive out here? It's impractical. 'Sides, it's not like you find this many boxes just lyin' around a forest on a regular basis..."

At this point, Snake was sort of spouting bullshit. He knew there was more to survival in the wilderness than simply boxes, but it gave the class an excuse to be outdoors instead of a damn classroom. He just couldn't say that. Although he contemplated moving all of their classes outdoor. It'd let his cardboard fortress stay up a little longer in his classroom, after all.
"You should always bring with you a supply of boxes," he continued in a rather matter-of-fact fashion, as if it was totally common sense to be accompanied by broken down boxes.

He motioned around, "When I'm teaching you about boxes, it's not for an every day excursion. It's not even for a monthly or bi-monthly happening. It's for choice situations only. Like I was explaining to Clear, using boxes as something of a hiding spot is more or less for units on patrol that you're trying to get past. Aside from that, however, boxes have all kinds of uses."
